Their car eventually ran out of fuel, but they were in a much quieter forest . It had been months since they had left Savannah, they checked all the places outside the city for anyone, but found no one. Not even a sign that anyone had passed through there.
This left Ben somewhat devastated, although he hid it very well. But it didn't stop Molly and Chuck from realizing it.
They moved forward some more, the discomfort was remarkable, it was as if they were moving through a hallway of remnants of war. There were no walkers , no people
Sometimes they saw Cars overturned, smashed. Shards of glass on the ground mixed with bodies and dried blood. Dead bodies with glass still stuck in their bodies.
Chuck, Molly and Ben sit near the campfire. Ben used Swampfire to made it
Molly didn't change much. Her outfit didn't change and neither did she. And Chuck looked a little hairier but not as dirty. His hair was longer, going down his head a bit and his beard was more pronounced. He wore a new green flannel jacket and baggy blue pants. Ben wore a black green t-Shirt with number ten on his chest and white/green jacket with number 10 on it and brown trousers
Molly asked : So you have anything you like to share your full story ?
Chuck asked : I heared before you had the Ultimatrix, you originally possessed a similar device called the Omnitrix, which you acquired at the age of ten?
Ben answered as began to tell his story : Correct . It all started 6 years ago, when I was 10 years old. I went on a camping trip over the summer with my Grandpa Max and my cousin Gwen. I went off by myself and saw what looked like a meteorite land nearby. I went to investigate and discovered that what landed wasn't a meteor at all, it was a space pod. The pod opened up and I found what it looked like some kind of watch with a green hourglass symbol on it. It wasn't until later that I found out it was the Omnitrix it allowed you to turn into different aliens
Chuck asked : So, after you realized the Omnitrix, allowed you to turn into different aliens, you were inspired to become a hero?
Ben answered : Well, even when I was a kid, I could never turn my back on somebody in need. But I was just a ten-year-old, what could I do? But that all changed once I got the Omnitrix and realized that this time, I could make a difference.
Molly asked : You've told us that you're a superhero in your universe, is that correct?
Ben responded : Yeah
Molly tilted her head in curiosity : Does that mean you have super-villains to fight?
Ben gave out a loud laugh at that as the memories filled his mind : Oh, I've had plenty.
Chuck asked : Even as a kid?
Ben nodded : I don't know why but just about everywhere we went on that road trip, there was always some villain I had to use the Omnitrix to stop. Dr. Animo, the Circus Freaks, the Forever Knights...
Molly asked : Do any of them qualify as your arch enemy?
Ben said coldly : Yeah . There's one. Vilgax.
Chuck asked : Vilgax?
Ben said : An alien conqueror obsessed with getting his hands on the Omnitrix . Remember how you said some people might see it as a weapon? He certainly did. In fact, he wanted to create an entire army of Omnitrix users.
All were stunned in silence upon hearing that. An entire army? Chuck and Molly tried to imagine it, hundreds, possibly thousands of shape-shifters. A strange sensation filled Chuck and Molly . A little bit of fear, but a small bit of apprehension.
Ben looking down at his feet, as Molly was trying to soothe Ben by holding both his hands,
Ben Replied : I remember the very first time I fought him. No matter which alien I turn into, he just kept on knocking me around.
This really got Chuck and Molly's attention. A being who was capable of holding his own against a multitude of Ben's aliens?
Ben add : And even I was older and a little more experienced, he still gave me a hard time
Molly asked : Whatever happened to the Omnitrix and why do you have the Ultimatrix instead?
Ben said : Oh that . Well, it all started with this Galvan called Albedo.
Chuck asked : Galvan?!
Ben said : Yes . They're kinda like frogs. They're really smart, but can also be pretty aggravating at times. Albedo was the assistant of the Omnitrix's creator, Azmuth.
Chuck asked : Is this Azmuth a Galvan too, and you claimed that he is the smartest being of five galaxies and the creator of the Omnitrix and Ultimatrix?
Chuck curious about the mysterious creator of such a powerful device.
Ben replied : Yeah, he is the creator of both . Anway, Albedo didn't think an inferior human was worthy of using the Omnitrix, so he made a copy to prove he was better. Problem for him was that his Omnitrix was synched to mine.
Molly asked : How was that a problem?
Ben answered : Well, my DNA was the default so he always turned into a copy of me whenever he changed back. He came to me and told me stuff like how he was the real creator of the Omnitrix, how it was flawed, risked putting a hole in the fabric of the universe, stuff like that. I was able to figure out he was lying, so he attacked me and my team.
Molly said : That would've been a sight to see . Two guys with the exact same powers duking it out. Kinda fits the saying about how you're your own worst enemy.
Ben said : During the fight our Omnitrixes got stuck together and created an energy wave that damaged Albedo's human form, turning him into basically a negative version of me . Think of me with white hair, slightly paler skin, black eyebrows, red eyes, gray pants and a red jacket with black stripes.
Chuck and Molly actually pictured the image in their head.
Ben Continued said : Then Azmuth showed up and disabled his Omnitrix, leaving him stuck as me. After that he got sent to prison.
Chuck said : That's nice and all but where does this Ultimatrix come in?
Ben replied : Well the Ultimatrix was one of Azmuth's other projects that Albedo stole after he managed to escape from prison. Once he got it, he teamed up with Vilgax to get my Omnitrix.
Molly asked : Why?
Ben explained : His Ultimatrix was still in synch with my Omnitrix . Anyway, their team-up worked. They captured my team, threatened to kill them unless I handed over the Omnitrix...so I did.
Molly and Chuck stared at Ben in shock , but they couldn't help but be disgusted at this Albedo and Vilgax's actions.
Molly asked : What happened next, Ben?
Ben replied : Well, we had to retreat since Albedo and Vilgax had both the Omnitrix and the Ultimatrix. At the moment all seemed hopeless. I was ready to just give up. Then Azmuth showed up and gave me a bit of a pep talk. And an idea. When we faced Vilgax again on his ship...I activated the Omnitrix's self-destruct sequence.
Molly asked : You were willing to sacrifice all your power for the sake of defeating your enemy?
Ben said : There was not much else I could do . If we couldn't get the Omnitrix back, we could at least prevent Vilgax from conqueror it .
Ben said, clenching his fists : Vilgax thought I was bluffing . And he learned the hard way I wasn't.
Chuck said : That must've been hard for kid
Ben admitted : It was . But it was worth it if it meant stopping that psychopath.
Molly asked : D-Did Vilgax die?
Ben shook his head : The self-destruct hurt him but I faced him enough times to know it wouldn't take him down. So I forced Albedo to give me the Ultimatrix. By activating the Ultimatrix's self-destruct sequence unless he handed it over to me,
Chuck asked : What exactly makes the Ultimatrix different compared to the Omnitrix?
Ben explained : You see, the Ultimatrix has the ability to hyper evolve my aliens into their Ultimate Form, granting them new powers and new abilities that make them more powerful than ever. The Ultimatrix does this thanks to a special feature called the Evolutionary Function. According to Albedo, the Evolutionary Function works by placing the DNA of the alien in a certain simulation, making it suffer the worst possible scenario in millions of theoretical years in order to "force" evolution in the genetic code in the virtual environment; the evolutionary developments are then modified into the existing DNA. This "survival of the fittest" method of evolving the aliens makes the Ultimates more suited for combat.
Ben he finished explaining the Ultimate Forms and the Evolutionary Function of the Ultimatrix. Chuck and Molly's eyes widen, not only Ben's watch only transforms him into extraterrestials from his universe, but has the ability to evolve his forms into their ultimate forms.
Chuck muttered : Now it all makes sense now . Why the Ultimatrix made Albedo Alien more powerful and Stronger than your .
Molly noted : Well it seems to me you got the better deal blowing up the Omnitrix and taking the Ultimatrix for yourself. But I needed to asked you this
Ben just gave another half-hearted chuckle at that.
She hesitated for a bit before continuing : Ben, I was meaning to ask you. Does your Ultimatrix have a powerful function that allows you to stay in alien form without transforming back?
Ben's eyes widened, as soon Molly popped out that question . He knew that like the prototype Omnitrix, the Ultimatrix too had a Master Control Access. A special program that grants full access to all of its functions, including one that enabled the wielder to instantly change into alien forms at will without timing out due to the limiter being disabled with Voice Command and mental thought.
Ben began to explain : "Y-Yes, Molly it does . The Ultimatrix has a special feature that can allow that called "Master Control."
Molly : Master Control?
Ben replied : Yes, Master Control is a special program incorporated in the Ultimatrix that grants me access to the full power of the watch. Allowing me to transform at will or with Voice Command. I don't need to touch the dial to activate as I think of the form mentally in my mind or I can say the name of the form with my voice.
Molly and Chuck's eyes widened as soon as they heard his answer. Not only he had the Evolutionary Function but also had the Master Control
Ben said : There's one time I unlock the Master Control by accident
Molly asked : Can you doing it again ?
Ben replied : I'm not sure . This is not the same like the old one but I can give it a try with a little friend to be safe
Ben slammed the Ultimatrix dial down and transformed into
A green ball in a green background is seen descending downwards very quickly. The background immediately changes to a light red color, indicating that the green ball has injected itself into Ben's bloodstream. Ben is seen in a completely green background but his overall appearance is still very visible. Ben, body began to spin due to it going through a transformation.
[Transformation Sequence : Ben's hands lock into a claw shape, his fingers disappearing as his skin is covered by a shiny dark orange shell. His brain is shown, growing several times in size, then a spark of electricity blinds the screen. It changes to his back, his shoulders climbing up to the sides of his head. He leans forward as his legs morph from two to six. Finally, it zooms out as the crab-like form strikes a pose, the top of his head parting in two, revealing the large brain, spewing yellow electricity.]
It was a large, orange-brownish, crab-like being. It had an unusually large head, with its white teeth being perpetually exposed. It had pincers for hands and six legs. It wore a black and silver belt around its torso, with a black and green hourglass-like symbol attached to its center.
He yelled in a British accent : Brainstorm!!
Molly commented : So,you are a giant crab, huh?
Chuck questioned : I wonder what this one can do.
Molly admitted : I'm quite curious myself. This form doesn't appear to be very strong or looked very impressed to me .
Brainstrom said in British accent : Dear Molly. This form right here has a super-massive intelligence . He can solve difficult calculations mentally in seconds. Thank you very much
Brainstrom used his claw on the Ultimatrix symbol and he begin to turn
Left , Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Right, Left , Right. Pause.
After he done that the Ultimatrix responding with a beep and Brainstrom transform back to Ben , the hourglass glowed and it began to answer in Ben voice .
Ultimatrix responded in a monotone version of Ben's voice. : Six new genetic samples unlocked and available in Playlist Five. The time of transformations had been Extending and the amount of time needed to recharge had been decreasing
That made Ben smile : Six new transformations? Alright ... That Wasn't I planned for . And looks like it been upgrade
He cupped his right index finger and thumb around the Ultimatrix dial. This caused the device to glow a bright green and a hologram to form.He begin to turning the dial, Scrolling through Echo Echo, Jetray, Goop, and Cannonbolt. Then he Scrolling to some of his new aliens that he just unlocked
Molly and Chuck were stunned by this .
Molly said : WHAT?! Six new forms?! You have to be kidding me
Ben said : Thank Molly
Molly replied : Don't mentioned it
