Leafy's POV
My eyes open and is met with the shining rays of the sun in the sky.
"Ugh!..." I groaned as my head stung with pain as I sat up.
"What...happened?" I touched my head lightly and immediately winced in pain.
"Right..." I spotted a small puddle a few feet away from me and I slowly got up.
I groaned slightly, my head stinging with pain. I looked into the puddle and my eyes widened.
"My..leaf...?" I gasped.
The upper left side of my leaf had been torn apart.
I shakily touched the ripped part of my leaf.
"No...no! There has to be a way to fix this!" I said, choking back tears.
"The recovery center... Yeah! I could use it to-...." I paused.
"No,..that won't work..." I started to tear up.
"I'll have to die somehow..." I furrowed my eyebrows.
"Even if I do die, Who's going to revive me?..." I looked into the forest.
"...No one." I mumbled to myself.
"I'm...alone..." My hands fell limply to my side.
'Will this tear on my head be permanent?...' I thought as I looked at myself in the puddle.
"..." Tears started to stream down my face.
'This is all stupid. I shouldn't have left. I'm so dumb.' I thought as I balled my hands into fists, gritting my teeth.
I wiped away my tears and struggled to stand up.
'No...I don't want to go back.'
I could only imagine what would happen if I went back.

"Well look who came crawling back! The thief of Dream Island!" Said Firey.

"I...am not going back." I glared at myself as I looked into the puddle.
I stomped on the puddle angrily before walking away.
'I can do this, everything will turn out fine..!' I thought to myself.
I kept walking, trying to keep my mind off of everyone in Goiky.
They shouldn't matter...not anymore.
I was about to keep walking when something caught my eye.
I stopped in my tracks.
A red flower had caught my eye.
I walked up to the flower and picked it.
I put it on my head where my tear was, as if it was a pretty clip.
A puddle was nearby so I looked at my reflection.
'Well, it's covering my tear... And it's pretty..!' I thought as a smile crept onto my face.
You could still slightly see my tear though, but the flower was covering up most of the tear so I didn't mind.
"Fixed!" I said.
At least I had something to cover my tear now.
I looked around, wondering on what I should do now.
I heard a low grumbling sound.
I'm hungry.
'Right...I don't even know how long I was out for.' I thought.
'Well, I guess it doesn't matter how long I've been unconscious for. I'm hungry.'
I turned around and walked to the shore where my tent was.
I still had a terrible headache. I couldn't walk straight at all.
'I'm sure I still have a granola bar...' I thought.
I didn't really need to eat much, I'm a light eater.
I tripped on a rock.
"AH!" I fell.
"Ugh...stupid legs..." I tried to get up but my head started aching really bad.
I held my head in pain, being wary of my tear.
My vision started getting blurry.

Thud.

.
"..." I looked into the burning magma beneath me.
'How did I get here...?' I thought as I looked around and saw a small bird.
It felt, weird. It was like I was a completely different person.
I was practically staring daggers at the bird as it was just minding it's business, pecking the ground.
A vine came out from behind the bird. The vine wrapped itself around the bird quickly and tightly.
I held my hand out and the vine slithered to me, bird in 'hand'.
It was like I was.... controlling it.
I grabbed the bird unable to control my movements.
Body reacted automatically.
I tore off one of the birds wings. The bird squirmed around in my grip as it screeched.
Blood dripped from the bird.
I tore off another wing and the bird screeched louder.
I can't stop, It felt like I was being controlled and the only thing I had in control was my mind.
I couldn't even scrunch my face in disgust.
The bird squirmed less and I held the bird out over the volcano....
...before dropping it.
GASP
I woke up.
I sat up and looked around. I was at the shore, beside my tent.
"What...?" I blurted out confused.
I sighed in relief.
'It was just a dream...'
I froze.
I never made it back to my tent.
