"Open wide. " I said as I helped Ev brush her teeth.
"I sleep with mama todayy! " she spoke making me hardly understand her words because of the toothpaste and brush in her mouth but I got it.
And indeed.
She started sleeping on her own but sometimes she sleeps with us.
She's quite cuddly and plus it's nice to treasure the moments before time flies by and she starts telling us to leave her alone.
I smiled at her when I was finished and she spit out all the toothpaste.
I ran the toothbrush under some water and helped Ev clean her mouth out after.
I put her down on the floor. "Go to papa now. " I said and gave her head alil pat.
I did my own night routine and when I left I saw Robbie Playing some games on his phone while Ev watched him.
As the only one standing up I turned the lights off and got in bed.
Though I did turn the lamp on.
I looked at my phone for abit and listened to the conversation these two were having.
It wasn't really interesting he was just telling her what to do and she asked what something was once in awhile.
I put my phone down and got closer to them. When I did get closer Ev laid her head on my chest while still looking at what her dad was doing.
Later on Robbie saved his game and put his phone down.
He looked at Ev and lifted her up and seated her on his lap with a smile.
I moved over and turned the lamp off.
"Goodnight kisses. " Robbie mumbled and drowned Ev in kisses.
Ev giggled in the process then Robbie turned to me and gave me a peck on the lips. "Me to! " Ev yelled and gave Robbie a lil kiss then one for me as well.
She crawled off Robbies lap as he started to lay down and sat herself between us.
I also got under the blanket and she cuddled up closer to me.
I wrapped my arms around her and and closed my eyes mumbling to close hers to.
And we all slowly feel asleep.
Evelyn
I woke up in the middle of the night and I could tell it was the middle of the night because both mommy and daddy were sleeping and it was very very dark outside.
I sat up and rubbed my eyes for a moment and just stared at the wall.
I put my head back down trying to fall asleep but I couldn't making me annoyed.
I whined because I'm tired but I can't fall asleep!
I heard movement and saw that mommy started to open her eyes.
"Mommy." I mumbled and my eyes filled with tears.
"What's wrong? " she asked in a quiet voice. "I can't sleep. "
She pulled me closer to her but I still couldn't fall asleep making me cry harder.
So mommy sat up and put me on her lap. I laid my head on her chest as she patted my back.
"What's wrong? " I heard daddies deep voice ask.
"She can't sleep. " Mommy said.
Daddy nodded and got closer to us.
He just held my hand and closed his eyes.
Mommy rocked us back and forth until I feel asleep.
Which honestly helped.
I like it when mommy puts me to bed and cuddles with me.
And she smells nice and she's warm.
Elizabeth
I laid down with Ev still in my arms after she fell asleep and we cuddled all night.
Both me and Robbie were woken up by his alarm and he was quick to turn it off before it woke up the sleeping toddler between us.
I made sure she was still asleep and moved some hair away from her face.
Robbie moved his hair away and yawned before looking at me then at Ev.
"They say that the first daughter is always the copy of her father. I guess we were an exception. " he said with a laugh.
I smiled at his sentence and looked at Ev and indeed she looked nothing like him.
We both decided to lay in bed abit more before we started getting ready for the day.
After about an hour Robbie was the first to get out and I followed after carefully pulling my arm out from under Ev's head.
I went into the bathroom and washed my face also did my business before going downstairs where Robbie was making us coffee.
I walked up to him and rested my head on his shoulder. "What should we bave for breakfast? " he asked as he poured some cream in.
"I have no idea. I plan on making Ev try some oats though. You know some oats with fruit. " I said and thanked him as he handed me a mug.
"I don't like oats. " he commented. "Well don't tell her that. Plus maybe she'll like them. "
"What if she doesn't? "
"Well then, I'm making you eat her leftovers just because you said you don't like them. " I said with a teasing voice. He laughed and gave me a kiss which was very coffee tasting.
We both pulled away and started making breakfast after finishing our coffee.
I did as I said and made some oats for Ev but added berries to make it look more appetizing for her.
"Mama... " I soon heard and we both looked back to see a sleepy Ev walking in.
"Morning princess. " I said as I walked over to her and picked her up.
"Did you sleep well? " I asked ad I pulled her hand away from her eyes.
"Yes... " she said with a small yawn.
"Are you hungry? " I asked as I sat down and put her on my lap.
Robbie put the tiny bowl with the oatmeal in front of us with Evelyn's little spoon and fork.
Ev yawned one last time before looking at the breakfast in front of her and I watched as a small smile appeared on her lips.
"Strawberry." She happily said and stabbed it with her fork.
"What's this? " she asked when she noticed something that definitely isn't strawberry coated on her strawberry.
"It's oatmeal baby. It's like yogurt. "
She looked at it in suspicion before licking it and shrugging.
"You like it? "
"It's okay. " she said and put the strawberry in her mouth.
I sighed and thanked Robbie when he put my breakfast in front of me.
After thinking we just decided on pancakes.
"Want me to help you baby? " I asked since Ev kept smudging oatmeal around her mouth.
She shook her head and I just nodded.
Ev silently ate her breakfast while me and Robbie talked about stuff.
I've been so peaceful lately so proud of myself.
Also getting my report card on friday so school is officially ending.
Going to where I went last summer this summer as well and I died bcuz of how hot it was last time and I will indeed die because of how hot it will be this time around to.
I also decided to even tho it's late start to work out for my own sake lmao.
Also I got sunburned last time bcuz of the surprise walk to another beach uhm.
This time I'm not taking any chances and drowning myself in sunscreen bcuz I don't want to get sunburned.
