(AT UNIVERSITY, Y/N'S POV.)
I was emerging into the campus when I saw everybody looking awestruck and stunned. I lent my eyes to find the two handsome boys of our university. Who is it?
Of course, Jimin and Jungkook.
I mean how? Like HOW?! Not only girls but even guys were also stunned looking at those two. I mean indeed they both look cool and smart but how can they worship them everyday? I look at Jungkook and Jimin's face to find they were both pissed off to hell.
Well, I can't say that they aren't good for nothing. They're literally the pride of our university. Because of them our university is progressing in terms of popularity and rankings. So, they're very much needed for our university.
"Guys, I'm tired! Please stop crowding near me!!" I heard Jungkook's already done voice. I looked at him to find him escaping the crowd and the whole place.
"Please we're not superstars so stop crowding near us. Aren't you tired of doing these useless and cringy things? For god sake, now stop it! You all have already crossed the limits." Jimin spoke but not in a harsh tone. The whole crowd went into silence as Jimin also escaped that place. He was now heading towards the choreography hall since there's a dance competition in two weeks.
(IN CLASSROOM, JUNGKOOK'S POV.)
"Hey Gguk!! Wazzup?" I looked at my backbencher friends who were sitting on the table and continuously flipping their hair. Wow, they also have craze for fashion. I think they should actually give me tips so that I can also look like an useless human which I think I'm or may be I'm not.
"Hii cheap Johnny Sins, I'm fine and you?" I called out to one of my friends whose name is John. Well, I was kidding. His favorite actor is Johnny Sins so I called him by that name. But you should've seen his reaction. He was actually smiling and smirking as like he's the real Johnny sins.
"Gguk, I'm fine and anyways, where is your cookie?" For god sake when they're gonna stop doing this prank. I'm damn tired. Well, if you don't understand lemme explain you. So, cookie is nothing but my imaginary girlfriend which is made by my beloved friends. Even I was confused when they first started this prank on me.
"I don't know any cookie and please stop this prank. First of all, you guys come once in a fortnight and...and...you don't even think about me. I'm here rotting like a rotten fish. I also want a leave." I spoke, showing my sadness and grievance to them but they just laughed and one of my friends whose name is Alex came to me and patted my shoulder.
"Bro! We've already told you several times to bunk the classes and come with us but you don't accept it. So, we can't do anything." Alex spoke while looking somewhere else and flipping his hair. I turned behind to find Y/N entering inside the classroom. I don't know but I felt a tingle of anger when Alex was continuously ogling at Y/N. I know I'd not be feeling this but I don't have a hold on my emotions.
"Hehehe!! I was actually joking. If I'll bunk my classes then my mom will hit the shit out of me. So, I guess I'm fine." I spoke as he looks at me and raises his brow but he patted my shoulder again. I really hate it when people start treating me like a child. If it'd not have been Alex, then I'd have already punched their face.
Well, it looks like Alex is a bad guy but he's not. He's really down to Earth but yeah, he's cocky. He gives more importance on his looks than grades and yeah, that's why he's my friend.
"Bro! Then tell me what should I do for you? Please don't ask me the things which involve money." He spoke while I just smiled a bit before I kept a hand on his shoulder, patting it.
"You don't have to do anything. Just don't forget your friend...I mean your bro." I spoke and he just smiled before shaking his head.
"How can you think something like that? Just because I come once in a fortnight that doesn't mean I'll forget you. We played pubg last night only. Did you forget that?" He pressed those words as I just smiled and nodded my head.
"I think you didn't understand what I actually mean...I was actually giving a toast so that our friendship last forever." I spoke and he just smiled before John also entered the chat.
"Gguk, wazz that? We'll not forget each other. We've already did that promise. So stop being a senty buddy." He spoke and finally, we saw the professor entering inside the classroom. I didn't waste time as I immediately took my place or else, the professor will complain exaggeratedly to my mother.
"Good morning everyone and now take your seats." The professor made his statement as we took our seats obediently. He started writing something on the whiteboard which I'm not at all interested. I put the pencil above my lips, feeling insanely bored and then my eyes fell on the girl sitting beside me. The girl who immediately took away my breathe. The girl who made my heart skip a beat.
Yes, you're right. It's Y/N.
But why am I feeling these cringy symptoms? Well, I know this is love but a guy like me is good for nothing and I'm not made for love. I'm a destroyer.
I hung my head down because if I'll look one more second at this girl, then I'm gonna get crazy.
Even her smell is enough to drive me crazy.
Now the question is when did I fall for her? I can't keep a hold on it.
(Y/N'S POV.)
I was writing down the notes when I felt someone's eyes peering down on me. Well, I don't need to double check because I know who's looking at me. It's indeed my deskmate, Jungkook.
Well, I've became so much smart nowadays that I can recongise whose eyes are on me. Like if someone's showing me criminal offensive side eye then it's definitely Seonmin but if someone's looking at me lovingly then it's Jungkook. Well, I can recognise them because they're familiar to me now.
But why is it always Jungkook who looks at me lovingly? I turned my face towards him and to my surprise, he was shocked and immediately shook his head before he was now looking at the whiteboard. The pencil which was on his lips fell down on the table.
I smiled looking at him so absent-minded. But again, I tried to focus back on the lectures.
(CAMPUS, Y/N'S POV.)
It was already evening and I was now heading out of the campus. Well, I'm so much excited today because I'm gonna watch anime after a long time. Since exams aren't near, I can enjoy some quality time of mine.
But who'll know that someone will hold my hand and make me run out of this campus? It's something unexpected right?
"Jungkook? What happened? Why are you holding my hand and making me run out of this campus?" I asked, confusion visible on my face but he didn't speak anything rather he brought me to a dark alley.
A dark alley? Me with Jungkook? What's going on?!
After sometime, I saw four persons finding someone...wait, are they finding us? And then those people left the area.
"Jungkook, what was that?" I asked, feeling infuriated and disturbed but he didn't speak anything rather he brought me out of that dark alley.
"Tell me, is there any problem between you and Seonmin?" Jungkook asked while I was just stunned and shocked.
"Tell me Y/N. Don't stand like a statue." He spoke while shaking me gently. His tone was filled with anxiety.
"Yes." I spoke while he just stood there with an obnoxious smile appearing on his face. It looked like he was disappointed and angry but still he was trying to control it.
"And you didn't tell me?" He asked, his voice was turning deep and gentle. It looked like grief and sadness were struck in his voice. But regarding me, I was silent. I wasn't getting any words out of my throat.
"Jungkook, I didn't want you to face any trouble. That's why." I spoke trying not to weep. I know crying isn't the solution and I've to control it.
"You broke the frenemy agreement because of her. Right?" My eyes bulged and it was now more difficult for me to speak anything. I thought I can dodge this smoothly but I think I can't anymore. I just nodded my head, hanging my head low.
(Silence)
"Y/N, I'm sad to say but you're a coward."
(Heart breaks into pieces)
