Anything would be better than sitting here alone, Frances led me out of the ballroom through the same secret passage that Sydney had the first night we arrived in Islaraven. I followed him out of the doorway into the hall with huge windows. Frances paused in the hallway turning to face me. That was when he extended his hand out towards me, I took his hand in mine.
He gracefully placed my hand onto the side of his neck, my heart beat increased, his eyes drawing me in deeper. The pounding in my chest could be felt throughout my entire body. Frances reached his hands around my waist trailing them down my spine placing them securely above my bottom. I could feel his fingers interlink behind me, somehow pulling me closer into him.
