With morale dropping from the day-by-day community service they've been doing, Ruby and Yang decide to have their fellow team members to hang out in their dorm. Y/N is the only one who agrees in doing this as Blake doesn't mind but, it's a bit reluctant. Weiss is very reluctant to partake in it. Ruby figure that be the case, so she brought in Team JNPR to also partake in their hang out as Pyrrha does her best to convince Weiss to partake, even if it's a little bit.
Weiss: "Fine. I'll... partake in this 'hang out.'"
R/B/Y/JNPR/ Y/N: "Yeah!"
They all head inside Team RWBY's dorm. Playing games, talking to one another, and in Nora's case, doing arm wrestling, mostly with Yang and sometimes with Pyrrha. Once that finished, Ren then brings in pancakes with syrups. Nora was jumping up and down in excitement at the mere sight of pancakes.
Y/N: "Nice to know that I'm not the only cook in our group, Ren. Also, nice apron by the way."
As he said this, he points at Ren's "Please Do Nothing to The Cook" apron.
Ren: "Likewise and thank you. I always have it on when I'm preparing a meal."
Scratching the back of his head, Y/N continues.
Y/N: "You're like a cooking pro. Then again, I just know how to cook a few things here and there. So, it's not like I'm some professional chef or anything."
Ren: "What meals can you cook in particular?"
Y/N: "Uh... meatloaf... maybe soup."
Ren gives off a small smile to Y/N."
Ren: "Well, at least none of us are complete novices to this kind of skill."
Y/N: "Heh, that's true. Got to keep our teammates' morale high with homecooked meals."
Amused by his remark, Ren places the pancakes and syrups down for everyone to eat. He then turns to Y/N and asks.
Ren: "Anyway, got any cooking knowledge you want to share with me?"
With a bright smile, Y/N answers back.
Y/N: "I'm glad you asked. Only if you share some of yours."
Ren: "Hm, fair enough."
As they eat, some were surprised when they hear that Y/N can cook. Y/N would explain that since his mentor is not much of a cook between the two of them, he had to be the one cooking for them.
(Later On)
After their little hang-out, Team JNPR say their goodbye to Team RWBY+Y/N before heading back to their dorm. Yang stretches her arms a bit before speaking.
Yang: "Man, that was great!"
Y/N: "It sure was."
Yang looks at Y/N with a smirk.
Yang: "Well, we sure have a 'Yang' of a time. Eh? Eh?"
The rest of her team groan at her pun while, Y/N just rolls his eyes with a smile.
Y/N: "Well, I'm going to wash off."
Ruby: "Sure thing."
Y/N heads into their bathroom. Once he closes the door, Yang and her team relax either on the floor or on their bed. That's when Blake and Ruby grab her and place on the other side of the room with Weiss, feeling a bit sleepy. Their action left Yang confused.
Yang: "Girls, what are you doing?"
Ruby: "Well...?"
Yang: "Well, what? Something wrong?"
Ruby: "Are you kidding, sis?! This is the right time and you're not gonna tell him?"
Once she figures out what Ruby is saying, Yang begins to blush as Ruby kept pushing her to tell Y/N. So, were the other two... kind of.
Yang: "I... I don't know if he will get the hint..."
Blake: "Yang, I know a thing or two. You're just being too shy about your feelings for him. You need to step up and tell him."
Yang: "How do you know about these things?"
In response, Blake's eyes widen a bit as her voice gets a bit quieter.
Blake: "D-Don't ask me why I know this..."
She said this as she slowly hides a really mature book behind her. A sleepy Weiss steps in.
Weiss: "You've been talking about him ever since he became part of the team... sometimes telling us that you're worry about him... and you talk awfully about..."
The heiress blushes a bit before continuing.
Weiss: "About his... figure and... appearance."
Yang blushes even more with their form of encouragement.
Yang: ("I may be a party girl and I can be flirty and forward... but I... I don't know much about confessing my love for someone...")
Yang let out a sigh.
Yang: "I... I'll try to get closer to him..."
Ruby steps in front of her.
Ruby: "No, Yang. You need to figure out what you need to do now."
Blake goes to pat Yang on the back, giving her a small smile. Yang smiles back that her teammates are rooting for her as she exhales.
Ruby: "If you take too long... Maybe... h-he might get taken..."
The four girls blush at Ruby's remark, leaving the room silent. Yang gets a bit upset about this.
Yang: "W-What do you mean by that?"
Ruby steps back a bit, looking away.
Ruby: "Oh... uh... n-nothing! D-Don't worry... it was just a thought."
Yang chooses to ignore Ruby's remark as she ponders on what to say to Y/N.

Back with Y/N, he finishes washing himself off, having some mixed emotions since he arrived in Beacon. On one hand, he has to be Ozpin's secret agent and have to do a few missions for him, which leaves him somewhat injured at best. On the other hand, he's gotten use to life here and even found out that Darius is alive, even though he's somehow connected to the White Fang. Other than that, he's glad to have met Team RWBY and JNPR for the most part. Y/N then visualize Yang, realizing how much they spend time together when they aren't doing community service work. Recalling her cheeky smile, her beautiful long golden locks, her lilac eyes, and her overall... appearance. Y/N then start blushing a bit to all of this.
Y/N: ("Damn, I'm really in love, huh...?")
As he finishes up, he walks out of the bathroom, letting out a sigh of relief. He then notices that Yang is the only one in her room.
Y/N: "Hey, Yang. Where are the others?"
Yang: "Oh, they head to the school library. Probably looking for books to read."
Y/N: "Okay, then."
Yang gets out of her bed.
Yang: "You sure took your time in there?"
Y/N: "Oh, I was just thinking about life here at Beacon."
Yang gives a teasing smirk.
Yang: "Make sense. I mean, one guy being on a team full of girls. You're a pretty lucky guy, huh?"
Y/N: "Well, if you put like that way, I guess I am."
Yang just giggles at his response as she playfully punches him in the shoulder. Y/N begin to tumble as he would have fallen to the floor if Yang didn't quickly catch him by his arms. The two are at each other's arms, staring at one another.
Yang: "Y/N, are you okay?"
The moonlight from the shattered moon illuminates Yang's eyes and hair. Y/N's heart begins to beat at an alarming rate as he continues to stare at her as his face turn almost red as Ruby's hood. Yang was also blushing as she continues to stare at his eyes.
Y/N: "I-I'm okay. Thanks, Yang."
He quickly gets up as the two look away from each other's gaze, trying to hide their blushing faces.
Y/N: "W-Well, I-I'll be going now."
Yang: "W-Wait!"
Immediately, Yang grabs him by the arm as Y/N look back at her.
Y/N: "Y-Yang?"
Yang: "I... I want to give you something... and say something... so, please... please stay..."
Y/N: "O-Okay, then."
Yang closes her eyes as her blushing face revert to normal, taking a deep breath. Y/N, still blushing a bit, asks the blonde.
Y/N: "Yang? What do you want to give me?"
Taking another deep breath, Yang opens her eyes, filled with resolve.
Yang: "It's this."
Yang then grabs him by the collar, smashing her lips into his. Y/N's eyes widen, completely shock and his face turning more red. After a few minutes of quietness, they parted lips as she looked into his eyes with a blush on her face.
Yang: "I... I love you, Y/N... with all my heart."
Y/N: "Yang..."
There was bit of silence between them. Yang let Y/N go as she looks away from him.
Yang: "I-I'm sorry... Maybe I shouldn't come off so strongly. I should have explained it better and-"
She was then interrupted as Y/N pull her in to kiss her. Yang's eyes were open wide for a bit before she quickly closes them and ease up to the kiss they're having. A few minutes of this felt like a few years. Their lips reluctantly part away, a string of saliva connecting to their mouth. They were out of breath but, their eyes continue to stare at one another.
Yang: "That was... wow..."
Y/N: "Yeah... no kidding..."
Y/N takes a deep breath before continuing.
Y/N: "Yang?"
Yang: "Yeah?"
Y/N: "I love you too."
As he said this, Yang had the biggest smile on her face as she gets closer and entangle her hand with his as she laid her head on his shoulder.
Yang: "So, when did you realized that you were in love with me?"
Y/N pause for bit before glancing back at Yang.
Y/N: "I think it was during our initiation. At first, I thought I was attracted to your beauty but, slowly I realize that I'm attracted to everything about you. Your hair, your lilac eyes, your smile when you make those stupid puns you make."
Yang: "Stupid?"
Y/N: "You really want me to go further?"
Yang: "Nope."
Y/N continues further.
Y/N: "Before I knew it, I fell in love with you."
Yang glances back at Y/N.
Yang: "Then, why didn't you confess and tell me?"
Y/N: "Are you kidding me? I didn't even know you had the same feelings for me as I have for you!"
Yang: "Then, it's a good thing I feel the same way! Besides, I drop a bunch of hints that I want to be in a relationship with you! I thought you were one of those clueless guys I see on TV."
Y/N: "Well, your constant teasing and always end with 'Just kidding' doesn't really help your case."
Yang: "I-Well... that's kinda true."
They both chuckle at their banter as they sigh in relief.
Y/N: "Look at us now... a couple."
Yang: "Yeah..."
Y/N: "I'm surprised no guys ever try to ask you out before."
Yang: "True. I know I flirted with a handful of guys before, but I never been in an actual relationship, let alone falling in love. So... I'm glad that you're my boyfriend now."
She gives him a bright smile as Y/N comments.
Y/N: "And now, you're my girlfriend."
Hearing this, Yang's smile grew wider as she clings on to his arm.
Yang: "Now that we're a couple, I can shamelessly flirt with you to my heart's content."
Y/N: "But you still flirt with me anyway."
Yang: "Well, you're not wrong. Now, come here, babe~"
They were about to kiss again only for a sudden crashing sound from the dorm's door, stopping them from kissing. Y/N and Yang give off deadpan expression at this sudden disruption.
Y/N: "We forgot about the other three, didn't we?"
Yang: "I guess they probably saw everything too."
They both sigh at once as Y/N open the door to reveal Ruby, rubbing her head, and both Weiss and Blake as they pretend to read their books.
Ruby: "Hehe, looks like you're done washing off, huh?"
Y/N just give her a deadpan face as he looks at the other two teammates.
(Later On)
It was getting late so, Y/N change to his PJ's and start to get ready for bed. Once he was about to lay in his bed, he hears a knock on his door.
Y/N: ("I wonder if it's Glynda or maybe... Ozpin? No, it can't be him.")
As he opens the door, he finds Yang in her PJ's.
Y/N: "Oh, hey Yang."
Yang had a blush on her face before looking at him and ask him.
Yang: "Hey, Y/N? Can I sleep in your room tonight?"
It took Y/N a few seconds for him to realize what she's referring to as he blushes a bit as he smiles.
Y/N: "Sure thing."
In response, Yang smile as she quickly heads inside and dive into his bed. As he closes the door, Y/N approach Yang on his bed with the blonde girl giving a smirk and wink to him.
Yang: "Want to sleep with me~?"
Seeing her gesturing him to come over, Y/N just smile and roll his eyes before laying on his bed with Yang.
Y/N: "Try phrasing it better."
Yang: "Nope!"
Y/N: "Figure as much."
Yang: "Oh don't be like that. What? Want to have a little more fun~?"
Y/N: "The only fun we're having is sleeping."
Yang: "Aww, that's not fun at all."
Y/N: "Nor is being tackle to the ground."
Yang: "Still not letting that go, huh?"
Y/N: "Nope."
The two then begin to chuckle over this banter they're having. It fades when they slowly embrace each other lovingly as they start to make out that last for several minutes. A few moments later, Yang proceed to hug him with a big smile on her face as she and Y/N get ready to sleep. Despite their eyes being closed to go to sleep, Yang still calls out to Y/N quietly.
Yang: "Hey, Y/N?"
Y/N: "Yeah?"
Yang: Today was the best, huh?"
Y/N: "Yeah... it was."
Yang: "Heh, I'll say. I had a 'Yang' of a time sleeping with you."
Y/N: "Really?"
Yang: "I know you like it~"
Y/N: "Whatever you say."
Yang: "I love you, Y/N."
Y/N slowly smile as he answers back.
Y/N: "Yeah... I love you too, Yang."
As he said this, he goes to gently kiss on the forehead. Before they drift off to sleep, Yang, eyes half open, calls out Y/N's name.
Yang: "Hey, Y/N?"
Y/N: "What is it?"
Yang: "I need to tell you something."
Y/N: "Okay, then."
Yang proceeds to gently whisper onto one of Y/N's ears. After a moment of whispering, Y/N quickly open his eyes and turn his head to Yang.
Y/N: "Yang... a-are you being serious? The other three? Are you sure?"
A smirk slowly forms in Yang's face while staring into Y/N's eyes.
Yang: "Yep."
Soon enough, the two drift off to sleep in each other's arms.
