At Midnight
Y/n pinched the bridge of her nose, after working on the laptop. TaeTae slept a long time ago. She wanted to sleep too but she held back her desire and worked.
She was supposed to visit her husband’s company tomorrow again.
She loved the experience and also loved her job. At the back of her head, she was continuously thinking about Jack and her feelings.
“Y/n?”
She snapped and looked beside. It was dark as the only light source was her laptop and study lamp.
“What are you doing up so late?”
She blinked her eyes, not getting to look at her handsome husband.
Y/n: “Uh.. I just wanted to complete these..”
She replied, not exactly knowing what personality was she talking to.
“Is that urgent? Can’t you sleep for now?”
Y/n: “I just have 3 more left.”
She replied with a smile.
“Can I get you something, like do you need water? Or food?”
Y/n smiled in realization.
Y/n: “Can you keep hugging me until I complete them?”
I looked at him, with hopeful eyes.
“Hug you? And how will you do the work then?”
Y/n: “I can manage! You can sit on my lap tho!”
She spread her arms widely facing the figure. He chuckled.
“You can’t handle my weight, I don’t want your legs to be numb”
Y/n pouted.
Y/n: “Then let me sit on your lap!”
“What’s with you? I’m getting back to sleep..”
Y/n frowned.
Y/n: “Is that it? Is that much you love me?”
she replied sulking. Jack paused then and there.
“Love? Angel.. it’s not like that okay? I just---”
Y/n: “It’s okay you can sleep as much as you want.. I’ll just complete”
She muttered coldly and stared back at the screen with a straight face. Jack sighed heavily. He hopped down the bed and walked to her.
He swiftly pulled out the chair, y/n startled. He snaked his arms around her torso.
Y/n: “Jack w-wha—”
He lifted her up and sat on the chair, settling her on his lap, straddling her. Y/n stared at him with her lips parted.
Jack wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer, his eye never off her when he did so.
There faces were just an inch away. Jack stared at her with his soft eyes. Y/n could notice his eyes dripping with love and care. She couldn’t just move on from her unknown feelings.
Her lips quivered, and eyes filling with tears. Jack instantly panicked and loosened his grip on her waist.
Jack: “Was my grip too tight? Why are you crying, tell me please”
He cupped her cheeks, staring at her worriedly. Y/n cried harder at it. She joined their foreheads and sobbed softly.
Y/n: “p-please.. I’m sorry.. please.. p-please forgive me..”
She stammered with so much vulnerability. Jack felt a pang in his heart.
Jack: “I forgave you that instant angel.. I’m not mad at you. I'm not mad”
Y/n shook her head.
Y/n: “I-I never meant to say a-any of that.. I love it.. w-when you let me know how much sorry you are for our past and how much you love me. P-please d-don't stop..”
Jack pursed his lips to hold himself back from crying. He caressed her cheeks, their breaths hitting each other. Their noses touched.
Jack: “Don’t say like that angel.. please..”
Y/n: “You can g-give me any punishment please.. n-not this.. want you back please”
She whispered, her lips quivering.
Jack shut his eyes close and kissed her. She didn’t startle but kissed him back instantly, taking Jack aback. Their eyes shed tears but their lips molded perfectly.
Jack pulled out and muttered a sorry but to his surprise y/n whined with her teary eyes at the loss of the contact. Jack chuckled and wiped away her tears, giving a few pecks on her lips when she puckered them out wanting more kisses.
Y/n had her stomach filled with butterflies. She kept staring at him.
Jack: “I’m sorry for making you feel like this.. b-but I just can’t help. I-I thought I was j-just being so annoying—”
Y/n: “I love you nagging me every time! I love your calls, your random texts. I love you visiting me during my lunch time! I love when you’re soft only to me."
Jack stared at her bewildered. Y/n gulped and muttered.
Y/n: “I love you so much hubby.. so much.. you made me fall for you. I can't live a s-second without you, J-Jack.. I love you"
She said and pulled him into a passionate kiss.
Jack had his eyes widened, his heart was no more sane, it was pounding out of his chest. He kissed her back, knowing how sincere the kiss was.
A lone tear of happines slid down his cheek as he pulled her closer.
When they pulled, they hugged each other tightly.
Jack: “I-I hope this is not a dream.. I love you more, t-that you can't even imagine angel? Do you know how much I love you?”
Y/n shook her head innocently.
Y/n: “I dunno, show me”
She smirked, Jack gasped a little later, red hue forming on his cheeks.
Jack: “w-what are you saying angel?”
Y/n: “Are you shy hubby? Won’t you want me?”
Jack looked away.
Jack: “N-no—”
Y/n gasped dramatically.
Y/n: “NO?! DO YOU HAVE SOMEONE ELSE?”
Jack panicked.
Jack: “WHAT?! NO! I JUST HAVE YOU”
Y/n: “JUST?! YOU WANTED TO HAVE MORE DIDN’T YOU?!”
Jack: “No! What are you saying?”
Y/n giggled.
Y/n: “I love you!”
Jack sighed and pinched the side of her waist. She jerked.
Y/n: “Ow! Why did you do that?!
Jack smirked and pinched the side again.
Y/n: “Ow! Stop that you— YAH!”
Jack laughed out.
Y/n started hitting him on his chest and puffed out her cheeks. Jack couldn’t help but kiss those rosy cheeks. Noticing that, y/n puffed out cheeks more.
Jack burst out in a peal of soft laughter.
Jack: “Stop it, you’re looking like a hot air balloon..”
Y/n: “At least you confessed, that I’m looking hot”
Jack spanked her.
Y/n: “Yah what the hell?”
Jack giggled and flicked her chin. And that’s how their night went, not even glancing at the laptop, that was still switched on.
Next day.
Vante: “You’re not going anywhere today!”
Vante huffed and stood infront of the locked door.
Y/n: “Why? I might lose my job if I don't go, Vante.”
Vante: “Then let it! I’ll make you the CEO of our company!”
He proudly heaved up his chest. Y/n slapped it playfully.
Vante: “Hmm.. do you feel something bubbling inside watching me with a buff chest?”
He gave mischievous grin. Y/n blushed but maintained her straight face.
Y/n: “Just shut your mouth! Pervert”
Vante: “Only for you..”
He winked.
Y/n: “Yeah, just open the door and let me go!”
Vante: “I told you right? You’re not going anywhere today”
Y/n: “But why?”
Vante: “I can’t stay without you..”
Y/n: “I’ll return soon—”
Vante: “7 at the evening is not sooner, y/n!”
He growled.
Y/n: “So what am I supposed to do?”
She crossed her arms.
Vante: “You’re not doing the job anymore..”
Y/n: “Vante you just can’t say this okay?!”
Vante: “So what am I supposed to say?! Can’t you understand me for once?!”
He yelled back.
Y/n: “I’m understanding you every single time, you just don’t do it back!”
Vante: “I need you every time infront of me!”
Y/n: “That won’t work out Vante..”
Y/n sighed. She reached out for his cheeks but he looked away.
Vante: “Don’t just don’t.. go and freaking stay there! Get lost!”
He yelled and pushed her off slightly before going upstairs. Y/n sighed heavily. She couldn’t take the leave, nor can she leave the job.
Y/n: “Ugh! Why my life is so hard?! What am I supposed to do?!”
She turned on her heels and walked upstairs. She frowned when she saw Vante sitting on the bed.
Y/n: “Vant—”
Vante: “What?! Why are you here?! Just go!”
Y/n: “I’m sorry.. Vante I—”
Vante: “Yes! I know! I absolutely know what you’re trying to do! You’re gonna say some sweet words and leave me again! RIGHT?!”
Y/n: “Vante calm down—”
Vante: “JUST TELL ME ARE YOU GOING OR NOT?!”
Y/n: “I can’t just dump that Va—”
Vante: “Then don’t sit here go!”
Y/n: “Vante—”
Vante: “OUT!”
Y/n: “I’LL SLAP YOU ON YOUR FACE IF YOU TALK WITH ME LIKE THAT AGAIN!”
Vante glared at her and looked away, flaring his nose.
Y/n: “Listen to me now!”
She sat infront of him.
Vante: “No—”
Y/n: “Listen to me now.”
Her voice fell down few octaves. Vante unknowingly gulped and gave a timid nod.
Y/n: “You can come with me..”
Vante’s eyes widened, but he instantly replaced it with a frown.
Vante: “I can come with you, that means I must be with you throughout the day. I won’t sit anywhere alone waiting for you to complete, you get tha—”
He started ranting.
Y/n: “WILL YOU JUST HEAR ME OUT FOR ONCE?!”
Vante pursed his lips.
Y/n: “We’re visiting your company anyways and we’ll work there with Mr. Min—”
Vante: “Wait? Who’s this Mr. Min?”
He raised his eyebrow.
Y/n: “Ugh, Suga”
Vante: “You must’ve said that”
Y/n: “Anyways, so you can watch me all you can, but make sure you won’t make me embarrassed there”
She pointed her finger at him.
Vante: “Yes I’ll make sure that, I’ll just kiss you, sometimes make you sit on my lap, sometimes I’ll compliment you and al—”
Y/n: “NO! That’s what I’m telling you to not to do!”
Vante: “But then how am I gonna let others know—”
Y/n: “EVERYONE KNOWS THAT VANTE!”
Vante: “Argh! You’ve to stop yelling.. it sounds like a screeching crow”
He covered his mouth. Y/n stared at him in shock, as she stood up.
Y/n: “ARE YOU CALLING ME A CROW?! HOW DARE YOU HUH?! YOU KNOW WHAT?! DO WHATEVER YOU WANT I’M GOING!”
Vante: “Yah! Wait! Let me change y/n! Wait for me.. I can’t just go on my pyjamas”
Y/n: “JUST DON’T CHANGE! YOU DIDN’T EVEN BATHED! DO THAT FIRST IDIOT!”
Vante: “Just yours!”
He beamed. Y/n groaned in annoyance and went down. She sat on the couch waiting for him.
Time Skip
Jieun was so angry for y/n to be this late, and she was ready to scold her but once she saw coming with her husband, she sighed, burying her anger inside.
Y/n: “I’m so sorry chief. I didn’t mean to be late—”
Jieun: “But you still are right?”
Even though she mumbled, Vante heard it. He cocked his eyebrow.
Vante: “So?”
Jieun startled and smiled awkwardly.
Y/n eyed him to go away. Vante looked away dramatically and walked towards the chair of the meeting hall.
Vante: “Hey hyung!”
Suga maintained his cold face and nodded.
Jieun: “Y/n be ready with your presentation, okay?”
She glared at her. Y/n startled.
Y/n: “Y-yes..”
Suga started talking and Y/n explained the important things and showed off her presentation.
Vante stared at his girl up and down. He stared at her lips and hands when she was gesturing and explaining.
His gaze fell back at her curvy waist. He poked his inner cheek. His palms itched to caress and hold that waist tighter until she whimpers in pleasure.
He bit on his lip, it was very hard to control, but he didn’t want to embarrass her as she warned.
He forcefully looked the other way, and accidentally made eye contact with another female who looked awfully familiar to him.
He thought for a while remembering who she actually was, but the lady mistook it as she blushed.
Y/n threw daggers secretly at him. She wasn’t able to concentrate at the meeting.
‘Why is he staring at her?’ she couldn't but think that to herself.
Jieun: “Y/n!”
She whisper yelled. Y/n startled and smiled apologetically getting back to explaining.
Vante bobbed his head in realization, he soon made a disgusting face and looked away. The female employee who was also once his secretary, fell on her face as she felt dejected.
Vante stared back at y/n and almost choked when he noticed her burning eyes. He stared at her innocently not knowing what wrong he did.
When y/n was done with the presentation, everyone clapped and nodded their head in agreement.
Suga: “You’re really convincing Mrs. Kim, you may take a seat.”
Y/n nodded and sat beside Jieun.
Vante kept staring at her. They continued the discussion. Y/n ignored him completely and continued to take part in discussion.
Vante growled internally at how long the talk was stretching. He stood up making everyone stand up too.
Vante: “You guys may sit, can I have my wife for sometime now?”
It was an awkward silence for a while as everyone stared at Y/n.
Y/n: “U-uh what do you need?”
She asked awkwardly.
Vante: “You”
Suga: “You can have your time, Miss Y/n”
Y/n stood up and bowed awkwardly.
Y/n: “I-I’m sorry sir..”
Y/n glared at him before walking out. Vante followed her like a puppy.

Vante: “Love..”
He whined.
Y/n: “What?!”
Vante: “Are you mad at me about something?”
He extended his hand to touch her, y/n slapped it away.
Vante: “Yah why?”
Y/n: “Do not touch me!”
Vante: “But what wrong did I do?”
Y/n: “How dare you ask me?! You were literally checking out another girl huh?! How dare you do that when you have a wife!”
Vante was caught off guard. He smirked.
Vante: “So you were looking at me?”
Y/n: “That’s not the matter! Why would you look at her?”
Vante: “I was just thinking some—”
Y/n: “Thinking about what?! Is she single or what? Tell me?!”
She grabbed his collar. Vante gulped.
Vante: “D-darling calm down—”
Y/n: “Do not touch me! Cheater”
She released the hold and crossed her arms.
Vante: “I’m not a cheater princess.. I was just curious to know who she was—”
Y/n: “Wow! Just wow! Don’t you feel ashamed of yourself, that you’re talking this with your wife?!”
Vante sighed heavily. He tried hugging her but she pushed him.
Vante: “You gotta listen to me first princess.. please?”
Y/n: “No! Go back to that girl! And eye her all you want!”
Vante sharply inhaled, y/n was about to walk away, but Vante harshly grabbed her by her wrist and dragged her somewhere.
Y/n: “Don’t touch me Vante—”
Vante: “Shut up!”
Y/n startled.
He pulled her to his cabin and locked the door.
Y/n: “Why would you bring me here?”
She yelped when he pinned her against the wall.
Y/n: “Leave me you chea—”
She hissed when he tightened his grip on her wrist. She gulped when she made contact with those burning eyes, that spat fire.
Vante: “I dare you to call me cheater again. I told you, I’m not a cheater, that means I’m not! And if you doubt me again, I’m sure you would see the worst side of me, Mrs. Kim”
His voice was shaking. Y/n gulped and nodded, her eyes teared up when the grip just tightened at her delicate wrist. Vante’s eyes widened, he instantly loosen the grip and caressed her wrist.
Vante: “I’m so sorry princess.. I’m very sorry to hurt you..”
He kissed them multiple times. Y/n smiled.
Y/n: “It’s me who has to be sorry.. I must’ve not called you cheater. I just couldn’t let you checking other girl—”
Before she could complete, Vante placed his hands on her mouth and hushed her.
Vante: “I love you being possessive over me, princess. Don’t be sorry, hm?”
He pulled out his hand and caressed her lips softly.
Vante: “I would want you to kiss me infront all those girls, to let them whom I belong. Won’t you do that princess?”
Y/n blushed. Vante chuckled and stared intently at those tempting lips. He licked his lips.
Y/n knew what actually was he thinking. She placed his palms on his chest, trying to push him back.
Y/n: “Vante not here—”
She was cut off with his pair of lips. He pressed his body on hers and roamed his hand down her curvy waist, he gripped her waist, the other hand was on her cheeks caressing them ever so delicately.
Y/n closed her eyes as she started kissing him back only to be startled and open her eyes, when she heard her name being called, her eyes widened when Jieun stared at them with her wide eyes.
Jieun gasped and was about to go when many of them entered. Y/n shut her eyes, in complete embarrassment.
She tapped his hands. He hummed and tightened the hold, deepening the kiss. Y/n pinched his hand harshly, he let out a squeak and jumped off like a spring.
Suga cleared his throat.
“We just need your signature Mr. Kim.. for the approval”
Vante: “Ugh hyung! Why didn’t you do that yourself? At least you guys have stayed outside for a while?”
He glared at Jieun who startled and looked down scratching her nape.
Vante just clicked his tongue and took the paper. He signed it off and handed it to him.
Vante: “Will you guys leave now?”
They nodded and went away. Y/n started to walk out with them but Vante pulled her back and started kissing her jaw.
Y/n: “Y-yah.. Vante I need to go too.. At least what they are—”
She clutched on his shoulder, almost tiptoeing at the impact.
Vante: “Your chief would explain it to you..”
Y/n yelped when he bit on her neck.
Y/n: “Don’t be a vampire psycho!”
She hissed in pain. Vante chuckled and gave butterfly kisses for a few times to ease the pain. He almost pulled down her sleeves when she pushed him.
Y/n: “This is not the right place, Vante!”
Vante sulked.
Vante: "We have a secret bedroom, here Princess. Let's continue there--"
Y/n grabbed him by his arms.
Y/n: “We can continue this at home..”
She winked at him. Vante grinned and twirled her around.
Y/n: “Yah!”
She slapped his bicep. Vante smirked.
Y/n: “We need to continue with the left over meeting or else that chief of mine will fire me!”
Vante: “I’ll take you in!”
Y/n: “Shut up okay?”
Vante: “Anything for my princess..”
He zipped his mouth up. She couldn’t help but smile at how sly of her husband was.
