Alora's pov
I woke up at 6 in the morning.
Today's officially the brightlead function and it was promised that there wouldn't be any changes or interuptions.
Im still stuck with the papers which arent mine with me.
I thought of a way to get my speech papers back.
And I did
And its the riskiest decision I have took in my 12 years of exsistence.
Im gonna sneak out.
I did my routine and went out of my dorm to the conference hall.
Thankfully I spotted Christina. She was talking to a bunch of students and looked busy.
I tapped her shoulder and she turned her back.
"Oh hi Alora" She greeted me with a smile.
"Hey Christina, when will the function start?" I said.
She glanced at her watch and looked up to me.
"Its 6:45 now the function will start at 9 but we'll have to reach there at 8:30" she said.
"Thanks" I said and ran to the office cabin.
I reached the place and hid behind a wall.
The security was locking the office and the keys to the gates was with him.
He went straight to the direction in where I was hiding and I quickly turned my back.
I followed him silently and he was going to the conference hall.
We soon reached there and it was a busy place.
The decorations and the stage setting up were still going on.
The volunteers of different school were working their ass off.
I saw the security guy talking with someone.
I slowly sneaked up behind him.
In a way he can't see of course.
I know this is gonna get me in trouble but I gotta do what I have to.
I took the keys from his pocket and thankfully no one noticed.
I slowly backed up away before anyone could see what I was doing.
About the cameras, the only way to not get spotted by them is to..
Not show yourself ofcourse.
I reached the gates and suprisingly not even a single human was seen.
I put the key in to the keyhole and slowly unlocked it.
I would try to jump off the walls but its protected with that silever thing.
Omg I actually got out
But I knew I have less time as Im suposed to get back before 8:30.
I need to find a bus first.
Thankfully I checkd Google Maps to the way to the building and the bus routes too.
I soon boarded a bus and sat at seat.
Not to mention this is the first time Ive been in a bus.
I usually walked to school and wasnt able to go to bus because I didnt have that much pocket money of my own.
Not that my step family would give me anyway.
I don't know why Im hated and avoided everytime.
It was'nt my wish to be adopted by them..
I've neaver heard anything about my parents or my real family. The foster lady just told that my mother died in a car crash and someone saved me and put me in here.
I leaned on the window and looked at the scene outside.
It would be nice to have a family
I suddenly remembered what Im here for and looked at the time.
I have reached my destination
Not yet tho but still.
The bus stoped and I hopped out of it.
I felt like an ant in the midst of the crowds.
Everyone was huge and the sound of people made it even worse.
I took a few deep breaths and walked along the footpath.
I turned my head sideways looking for the building.
Its said that it was right around the corner.
Something caught my eye
I saw a poor lady dressed in almost rags sitting near a bench.
I felt sorry for her as she was begging for something to eat.
But of course no one cared to even look.
I stopped in my tracks and felt something in my heart.
After debating with myself I gave up.
I know my time would be gone.
I glanced at the lady and turned around.
I found a cafe and a small dressing shop.
Thank god
After purchasing some food and clothes I set out.
I bent down at the old lady and gave the things I just bought.
She looked at me and I returned her a smile.
Before she could ask anything I continued my way.
I cant lose track of the time
I walked and turned around the corners to look for the building.
I stopped when I saw a building just like the one mentioned.
I took the papers and looked at it and the building.
This is it.
I looked at my watch and saw the time.
Only 10 more mins for 8
"Shit" I took a hold if my bag and ran towards the building.
It looked like the fancy building perfect for meetings I think.
There were security guards near the entrance.
This is gonna be hard
I went near the door and those tall guys looked down at me.
One of them raised an eyebrow and I just gave a nervous smile.
"Uhh I came here to return some papers back" I said.
The guards turned to look at each others face and snickered.
"What business do you have here kid?" One of them said.
"Its a long story which Ill tell you later or you guys can read from wattpad." I grinned at them.
"Now if you'll excuse me Ill just pass through-"
One of them held my arm and pushed me slightly backwards.
"Im afraid we cant let you in kid. Now go and study or something".
I looked at them with disbelief.
Really?
I narrowed my eyebrows at them and stomped on the ground and stuck my toungue out at them.
Losers
Now what am I supposed to do?
I was about tp give up until I saw a car pull up.
I glanced at the door and saw a lady of mid 40's coming out.
She adjusted her shades and walked to the entrance.
Are they gonna let her?
She had a white dog with her which was apparently trying to get put of her clutches.
Poor doggy
Wait..
I suddenly got an idea which may work
I opened my bag and took a cake which was supposed to be my backup food.
I tried to get the dogs attention and it looked at me.
I smiled in victory and held up the cake.
It stared at it for a few mins before barking loudly.
Every single person was looking at the dog now acting like crazy.
I threw the cake far away but just enough for it to reach.
It junped out of the lady's hands and ran towards the cake.
"TOFU COME BACK HERE" the lady screeched and stood there shocked.
She turned to look at the guards with an angry expression.
"What are ya'll standing here for? Go bring back Tofu" she said.
The guards were hesitant at first but had to give up due to her yelling.
When they all left to catch the dog I made my way inside the building.
I opened the door and the cool air hit me.
I closed the door slowly and I was surprised that no one noticed me.
I mean it would be weird if you see a random 12 yr old kid in a posh building.
Oh wait
I forgot
HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO FIND THAT GUY FROM THE OTHER DAY????
Oh my god
Im so fricking dumb
I groaned for the fourth time and left my hands dangling loosely.
Just when I was sulking I heard a sound.
"THAT KID IS OVER THERE".
I turned behind and saw the guards with scrathes on their face.
The dog really is a great artist.
But I had no time to joke ad they were pratically sprinting towards me.
Oh shit
I ran to whichever places and did bumped into few people which I had to mutter a sorry.
I kept running and hit through a door.
The door opened and I was on the ground.
"Oww" I hissed in pain and rubbed my head.
I felt someone staring at me and looked up to see few guys.
I looked around and spoted the guy from the other day.
I got up since I had no time and had to get out of here.
I went near him and started unziping my bag.
I could feel his eyes on me but I ignored it.
I found the papers and handed it to him.
He looked at it and his eyes widen.
He was about to take it until I pulled it away.
"I need my speech papers back" I said while panting.
He looked taken back but nodded.
He opened a drawer and handed it to me.
It was my papers.
I put the business papers on the table and took the one that was mine.
My babies
I heard a sound of crashing and looked at the door.
The guards were on top of each other and cursing themselves.
Well I gotta go

Hey homo species ur author here. My one week break is over and yea my school started and I thought things would be 'ok' since Im not in my crush's class.
But life hates me
Anyways I wont have much time so I would be only posting on saturdays and I will try to make the chapters long too.
The story is so far good I think but in my opinion its going like rlly fast.
