Last time in Dragon ball z!
Shanks slowly stood up, slipping his hands under Y/n's knees and back, and he pushed Ricko out of the doorway, walking to his room while carrying Y/n bridal style as Ricko was smirking, watching them go, as the girl hid her face in her hands.

The red head walked down the hall, holding on to Y/n, as she mumbled "you can put me down, you know..." but was only responded with "yea I know, but I wanna carry you,"
Shanks opened the door to their shared room with his elbow, using his hands' to keep Y/n in his arms. He slowly walked inside as the h/cnette stuffed her face in to Shanks's chest.
He kicked at the wooden closet that held all the futons. A bright red futon sprung out of it and unrolled itself onto the floor, in front of Shanks and Y/n.
Placing the girl down gently, Shanks walked back to the door and closed it, keeping his hand on the edge until the last second to keep it from making any unnecessary, loud sounds.
He walked back to the futon, sitting down next to his crush, staring at her slightly pink face that tried to avoid eye contact, but glancing at him every so often.
"You know.... you're doing a bad job at not looking at me." He stated, a warm, amused smirk stuck on his face as he watched her go an even darker pink.
"O-oh.. sorry.. umm..." Y/n started, looking at the floor. Shanks raised an eyebrow. "You wanna say something?" He asked.
"Uh... umm..Shanks... what are we now?" She directed her eyes to his. "Humans??" He answered in complete confusion as he furrowed his eyebrows. "A-ah, no!! I meant- ummm, we.. what are we? Are we together.. or???" Y/n clarified, stuttering in embarrassment.
"Ohhhh! Well, why didn't you just ask so??" He said, chuckling to himself. "We're dating, right? We both reciprocated the kiss, so that means we both love each other, right?" He stated while resting his head on his hands that were folded behind him. Y/n stared at him with a blank, crimson face, her eyes white dots as she processed what he had said.
"W-wait!! You love me back?!?!" Y/n exclaimed, denying what she had heard come out of his mouth, tilting her head with wide eyes. "Hmmmm? Yea? That's what the kiss meant right? And you love me too." He stated with no hesitation, watching Y/n internally combust as steam floated around her face and her eyes turn to spirals.
"Laughs you're so cute, you know?" He teased, a delicate smile painted on his lips.
"You-you think so?.." she asked, staring at the floor. "Hmm, of course I do, anyone would be crazy to not think so." Shanks said, putting his hand on top of Y/n's head, causing her to blush.
"You okay?" He asked, concerned as Y/n gazed at his face with a small unnoticeable frown.
"A-ah, yes! I'm fine!" She answered with a quick smile.
"If you want, I can directly ask you to be my girlfriend." He said, admiring Y/n's soft features that turned red as he asked, reading the girl next to him perfectly.
"I-I guess I'd like that..."
"Sorry, I'm not really good at this kinda stuff, so I'll be honest and say what ever comes to my brain... Y/n, I love you so much, you make my heart want to explode every time you do that cheeky smile of yours that shows you did something wrong, or when you tell Buggy he has a big red nose without being scared, you make me want to kiss you, hold your hand, cuddle with you, and.. other things.. Seriously.. what have you done to me? You make my insides go all mushy and I feel like I'm gonna be sick with how much I want to be with you... will you be my girlfriend??"
Y/n's face cheeks turned cherry red as all the blood in her body swam to her face.
A giant grin grew on her face as she closed her eyes. "Yes!!" Y/n enthusiastically answered, throwing herself at Shanks and snuggling her face in his chest, wrapping her arms around his body, making said boy fall back on to the pillow of his futon at the sudden force.
"That made you happy?"
"Mhm!!" Y/n's answer was muffled due to her face being pressed against his chest.
"I'm glad then" he said before placing a light kiss on Y/n's forehead. Shanks pulled his legs onto the futon and pushed Y/n's legs between his own, allowing her to lie on him.
"I love you too..." she mumbled as Shanks gazed at the ceiling, going apple red when he heard, smiling as the adrenaline from the confession rushed off and Shanks and Y/n drifted off to sleep, inhaling each others scents like it was a drug to combat insomnia.

Btw, this was when Shanks and Y/n were still trapped in the cupboard.
"You understand?" Rayleigh asked to Buggy who was standing in front of him, still in the maid dress which Roger was still snickering at.
"Yes, Rayleigh-san...." he responded, glaring at the floor, "but this was all that Shanks's fault!! It was his idea and he forced me to do it!!"
"Well, you should have resisted. Now go clean the lunch hall and don't go back to your room until you have, and you have to show me when you're done." The right hand man argued back, watching the blue haired figure that looked weirdly good in a maid dress storm away, his feet stamping on the poor, innocent floor.

'I can't believe that stupid Shanks, making me do the entire punishment, but of course Y/n's not to blame, she just came up with the idea. It's all Shanks's fault, hmmp...' Buggy thought as he stomped his way to room that was shared with Shanks and Y/n.
He reached the closed door and swung it open, pushing it as hard as he could, causing the back of the abused door to slam against the wall.
"Ughh, Shut up, Buggy......" a familiar voice that was obviously irritated said out of nowhere.
~In the room~
SLAM
The door hit the wall, causing a loud bang to resonate in the room, waking up the red head who was peacefully sleeping in it.
"Ughh, Shut up, Buggy......" he indirectly complained, guessing it was Buggy correctly that interrupted his tranquil slumber.
"SH-SHANKS!!!!! HOW DARE YOU YOU-!!!" "Shut up shhhhhh!!" Buggy was interrupted by Shanks whispering, as he put a finger to his mouth and pointed to something on top of him with tired eyes.
"Hhmeee...." The blob on Shanks cried at the sudden noise, tightening it's grip on his shirt.
"Y/n's sleeping..." Shanks whispered, laying his hand on her back softly so as to not wake her up.
The blob now identified as Y/n, snuggled into Shanks's hold as Buggy opened his mouth to say something.
"WHY IS SHE-" Shanks glared at him "laying on you??" Buggy whispered the end, emphasizing 'you' with as much hatred he could muster.
"Because we're dating." Shanks said, causing Buggy's jaw to fall straight to the floor and his eyes comically pop out of his sockets.
"YOU'RE WHAT?!?!?" Buggy didn't even try to lower his voice, the surprise was just too much for him, well, sure, the two of them blush a lot when they're near each other, but isn't that just cause they get sick when they are close?? And maybe they both something try to secretly touch each other, but that's cause they're just good friends!! Not girlfriend and boyfriend!! Just friends!! He can't let his bestie date his sworn enemy!! That just doesn't work!! He'll have to ask her himself when she wakes up, which is soon cause of his loud ass.
"We're dating." Shanks replied, not bothering to whisper anymore and glared at Buggy, but putting emphasis on 'dating' to get it through to the idiot standing in front of the door.
SMACK
Buggy fell forward, fainting.
"BUGGY?!?" Shanks cried as the sudden force shook the floor when he fell, quickly sitting up, forgetting about Y/n for a second, but remembered a little too late as she slightly slid down his chest, waking up.
Rubbing her eyes, she said tiredly, "Shanks?? What happened??....." and then she turned her head towards the door, staring at the collapsed figure laying on the cold, hard floor.
"BUGGY??!!?! ARE YOU OKAY?!?! WHAT HAPPENED?!?!" She exclaimed as she swiftly got off Shanks, running to Buggy who was face down on the floor.
"T-traitooorrr, eh....." Buggy said his last words as Y/n's face paled and Buggy's head turned to the side with his tongue sticking out, licking the dirty, umber floor.
