when we finished with our food i quickly went to find y/n so i could finally tell her how i feel.
she was standing by the lake all alone this is the perfect chance for me.
as i was walking to her, i wanted to scare her and just as i was walking closer, someone came up behind me.
"hey you wanted some alone time too?" I heard familiar voice from behind me,
y/n's voice.
But if y/n is behind me who was standing in front of me the whole time?
i looked back and no one was standing in front of me anymore, that was weird.
"are you ignoring me mr landry?" y/n asked me with flirty voice.
"no i just thought i saw someone" i responded to her.
y/n:oh okay
ethan:why are you alone here?
y/n:just wanted to get away from someone
ethan:let me guess, mason?
y/n:kinda yes and kinda no..
ethan:okay what about late night walk?
y/n:always
as we were walking in the woods, the night was really beautiful, i told her the story about the "ugly spirit" richard told us.
of course she didn't believe it, i didn't too.
we were just laughing, having fun like always, it's so easy to talk to her.
ethan: i need to tell you something
y/n:yeah me too
ethan: well you should go first if you want
y/n: no you can go first
ethan:okay i wanted to tell you that i like you, i liked you from the moment you bumped into me in that halloween party, i wanted to stop liking you but i just can't
and i know you probably don't like me but-
y/n:i do
ethan:what?
y/n:i like you ethan, more than you can imagine, yes i was a mess when we first met but i am so much better now and i like you, just you, nobody else.
ethan: woah that was a little shock for me i really thought i-
y/n: just shut up and kiss me
when we leaned in for the kiss we were so close to actually kiss but someone pointed a flashlight at us and we quickly moved away from each other.
the group was standing in front of us with the flashlights.
y/n:what the fuck is going on?
anika:we are meeting with the rest of our class by the lake to start a campfire and tell scary stories.
tara:and you are coming with us, we were looking for you two.
y/n:um we are not going
chad:come onn it will be fun
ethan:okay
mindy:yessss
the group walked in front of us and y/n and i were walking behind them.
y/n: I thought we'd have some alone time?
ethan:you know they wouldn't leave us alone if we didn't come.
y/n:yeah you are right but-
ethan:we can finish later what we started
y/n:we won't have alone time
and you know it
ethan:okay do you want me to kiss you in front of the group?
y/n:no no no
ethan: i can if you want
i wanted to mess with her so i grabbed her arm and pulled her closer to me.
she started panicking, it was so funny.
y/n:oh my god ethan!, did anyone
saw that?
ethan:no, but practically you are so close to me i could kiss you rn
y/n:ethan no- don't you dare kiss me in front of the group.
i just smiled at her and we realised we finally found the lake.
by the lake was our class, waiting for us.
they prepared a campfire, and formed a circle around the campfire so we just joined them.

I made sure to sit next to y/n, if i didn't mason would i know it.
we sat next to each other, as we waited for someone to tell us the "scary story"
chad was the one to tell the scary story about the "ugly spirit" to our class since only few of us knew about it.
he told them the story and the class seemed to actually believe him, some of them were scared and some of them didn't believe him and just laughed.
and then mindy started telling the scary story but it wasn't about the ugly spirit she talked about something else.
i know she just wanted to scare us tho.
"okay everyone stop with the scary stories , does anyone want to hear a song?" mason said, interrupting everyone.
girls seemed fascinated when he pulled the guitar that was behind him.
"oh i'd love to hear you sing" y/n told mason, he seemed very excited by her response.
i looked at y/n confused, and she whispered in my ear: "when mason and i were together he didn't know how to sing so i wanted to hear him now, there is no way he is a good singer"
oh i love this girl, wait what? no i can't love her not like this, i have to remind myself that i'm the ghostface and when she finds that out she won't love me no more.
mason singed terribly, but he knew how to play a guitar so it wasn't that bad tho.
we enjoyed listening to guitar.
the night was beautiful, i'm so mad they interrupted our late night walk.
y/n looked at me and just as i was about to look at her something moved by the tree.
everyone heard it since they
all looked at the tree.
"oh my god is that the ugly spirit"
chad shouted.
y/n whispered in my ear: "just follow
my lead"
y/n:oh my god yes, we should totally investigate it
"what? are you out of your mind?" some girl shouted at her.
y/n:oh sorry didn't know you guys are scared little kids.
"what? we are not little kids come on"
everyone shouted: come on let's investigate it.
they all started walking by the tree, i was confused but then y/n grabbed my arm and pulled me to the opposite direction.
when we made sure no one followed us and everyone went to investigate the tree, we stopped running, we couldn't catch our breath for like 2 minutes.
y/n:okay so now you gonna kiss
me or what?
i pulled her into a long kiss, we heard someone coming our way and that person just started staring at us but y/n just showed the person middle finger while still kissing with me.
•anika's pov•
we started walking by the tree,i turned around to call y/n to come with me but then i saw her grabbing ethan's hand and running away with him.
i'm so gonna mess with her later.
when we got closer to the tree we saw a dark figure standing close to us.
the girls started screaming and the boys wanted to attack the figure, but we
didn't let them.
we heard something moving on the opposite direction and everyone looked there, when we looked back there was nothing here anymore, no dark figure just
quiet big forest.
we all agreed that we should go back by the campfire.
•back to y/n's pov•
the person i showed the middle finger just rolled their eyes and walked away.
we pulled away from our long kiss.
y/n:hey you wanna walk me to my tent?
ethan:yeah sure
we begin walking back, when we were passing the campfire i heard someone talking, i accidentally broke a branch, and everyone's attention turned our way, ethan grabbed my hand and pulled me by the tree, before anyone could see us, he was leaning against a tree and my hands were on his chest, he didn't let go of me we just stayed there, when everyone's attention turned away from us, he let me go and we continued walking back.
"okay this night is crazy" i said to ethan, trying to break the silence.
"yeah totally, but i'm glad i went to find you tonight" he responded.
i just smiled at him and when we came to my tent everyone came back
from the lake, so we had to say goodnight.
when i came in my tent, anika,tara and mindy were sitting on the floor.
they all said hi and asked me where have i been but only anika looked very interested in what i had to say.
i told them a lie, i'm not ready yet to tell them that i kissed ethan since some of them suspect ethan of being a ghostface, if you ask me he could never be one, he is just too kind and lovely.
"it's really stuffy in here, i'm gonna go outside to get some fresh air" i said to tara,anika and mindy.
"wait i'm coming with you" anika said.
anika and i went outside and we were not the only ones outside, there was a bunch of kids from our class, i didn't expect they would be outside since it's like 11 p.m.
anika:okay spill the tea
y/n:what do you mean?
anika:i mean you and ethan
y/n:what?
anika:oh don't play dumb with me y/n i'm your best friend
y/n:okay what did you saw?
anika:i saw you grabbing his hand and running away with him.
y/n:okay, long story short he likes me.
anika:OH MY GOD I KNEW IT
y/n:how did u-
anika: he was totally jealous today, and not just today i mean the way he looks at you, and the way he talks about you chad told us everything.
y/n:and you didn't tell me?!?!
anika:sorry, we had a bet i told them that he would confess here, in the school trip, and chad said he will confess when we get back i guess i won.
y/n:oh my god anika
anika:do you like him tho?
y/n:yes, and i told him
anika:so are you guys like a thing now?
y/n:well i guess so, we have to talk
about it tho.
anika: does anyone know about this except me?

anika: just so you know i'm soo mad you didn't tell me.

mindy got out of the tent and told us they were planning on watching the movie on the laptop that tara brought, she asked us did we want to watch.
anika:suree let me just call
ethan and chad.
y/n:okay i'm waiting for you in the-
anika:oh no no you are coming with me
y/n:nahh i think i'm fine
anika:you are coming y/n
mindy just looked at us strangely
and went back.
y/n:i'm so gonna kill you rn
anika:come on i know you miss your ethan
y/n:oh you are so dead
she started laughing and running, and i chased her all the way to ethan's and chad's tent.
anika and i went in, anika asked chad and ethan do they wanna watch a movie, i just stood there, waiting for their answer, they said yes.
In the tent we made chad sit next to tara, ethan wanted to sit next to mindy but anika sat there, making ethan sit next to me.
we played the movie and anika kept staring at me and ethan, i kept giving her the "stop staring at us" look but she just started laughing.
in the middle of the movie i saw ethan trying not to fall asleep,
and after 10 minutes he putted his head on my shoulder and fell asleep.
I didn't wanna wake him up tho, he was exhausted.
everyone looked at us and i think they figured it out, but i kept telling them that we are not together because if they find out they won't ever leave us alone.
The movie finished and chad had to wake up ethan so that they could go back to their tent, when he woke up his hair was all messy and his voice was so deep.
they got back to their tent and I eventually fell asleep, tommorow we are staying here till the afternoon then we are going back, i really like it here tho.
