ukiyo creative's next group in line is gearing up for its debut!
on july 15, ukiyo revealed their next upcoming boy group with a logo to announce the group's name, POLARIS. fansites report that POLARIS may debut with members counting more than 10, and are currently in the mv filming phase in preparations for the big day.
in response to the report, an official comment was made by the ceos, stating: "polaris will be revealed one by one to create suspense and to build a fanbase, so expect member reveals every few days. at the same time, we'll be helping the boys film and shoot their concept photos and get the gist of their roles in the ukiverse. they play an important part in aelia's timeline, the how and why they ended up stuck on an island in a repeated time loop."
the exact date for POLARIS' debut is yet to be announced but the company states that it will commence in the second half of the year along with the release of ukiyo's first-ever drama, LOVE in the ER.
it was rumored that the original drama planned to be released was pushed back due to production difficulties, and to make way for the second drama that'll be having a few episodes only, estimated to be at least 5.
the ukiyo creative staff did not make any statements yet but they had already teased the two main casts of the film, paeng ohseong and cha byeongho. the two will play the characters of a rising doctor and a son of a ceo where the latter will be saved by the former through a risky surgery, and later on find interest in one another as the doctor began courting the business personality, but was rejected multiple times.
LOVE in the ER plays around the concept of self-principles and temptations, alongside the true meaning behind the trope 'he fell first but he fell harder'.

a few days after the logo and name reveal for the new awaited boy group, POLARIS, ukiyo creative surprises fans with a new update on their latest project.
the company's social media accounts were updated with a group photo, followed by short snippets of the album tracks and clips revealing all thirteen members that made it to the group's line up, with clips of behind the scenes and photoshoots.
though the album name is still unknown, the titles of five songs were revealed in order : 'HEAVEN'S CLOUD' , '20' , '_WORLD' , 'HUG' and 'HOLIDAY'. there was no announcement of the title track yet, and it's hard to make assumptions regarding which song will feature a music video. by taking into consideration the company and AELIA's concept, fans speculate that the ones most likely to be used as the promotional tracks are 'HOLIDAY' , '_WORLD' and 'HEAVEN'S CLOUD' with most setting their expectations for the latter.
When it comes to the group's line-up, it seems that ukiyo creative managed to raise the hype for the long awaited group with the choice of members. With some of them already in the spotlight due to their background, POLARIS has already drawn the public's attention and created a solid fanbase, especially abroad.
The group's name has already been trending in china, mainly due to the popularity of the chinese members, with the line including FABIN, a well - know child actor, FINN and JIANYU, the youngest members of wealthy families known for their successful businesses.
Inside korea, POLARIS became the center of attention after revealing that CASPER is part of the lineup, an ulzzang model with his own big number of supporters. At the same time, it seems that the group also includes former trainees under other companies, such as MINKYU and YEONSAN, who were given the chance to shine under ukiyo, and JESSICA's, AELIA's members, brother, ji byungho, now going by the stage name JØNAH.
After the clips included in the highlight medley, showcasing behind the scenes of photoshoots, as well as the first ever group photo in a refreshing flower concept, fans are excited for what's to come next, while also raising the standard for future artists under ukiyo creative.
