I'd yawn, continuing to scroll through my phone. I feel sleepy, but not at the same time.. it's weird. I think to myself, glacing at the dark void around me in my bedroom time to time. Suddenly, I receive a message, it was from Xiao.
Opening it, I reply to his message.

I smiled at my phone, butterflies in my stomach. He's never said that before.. other than that confession..
Soon, I close my phone, putting it to my side. As I roll over to my side, I clutch a plushie Hu Tao got me, it was a cute bear. Hugging it, I soon fall asleep, everything becoming even darker then before.

Finally, my last class was finished. Now, I just have to find Xiao, and..
Suddenly, my thoughts are interrupted by someone hugging me from behind. " Heya!! " Hu Tao smiles, while everyone else in our friend group stand behind her. " Hey, Hu Tao.. " I reply, running out of air due to how tight she was hugging my waist.
Suddenly she let's go, while the rest of our friend group walk up to me. " So is it true that you and Xiao are dating!? " Chongyun asked, using a popsicle stick to pose as a microphone. I glace at Xiao, while he was looking away, looking annoyed.
" Not so loud! Any louder and the whole school would've known! " I mumble, silencing Chongyun.
" So it is true!! " Venti replies, while I also begin to look annoyed. " Yeah, yeah, now come on, let's go outside to continue this talk. " I begin dragging everyone outside, while everyone else stayed quiet.
Once we reached outside, I turned around to face them all. " Who told you? " I ask. " It was Xiao, but it was Hu Tao and Venti who annoyed him to the point he had to tell them. " Lumine replies.
I walk up to Xiao, looking at him. " Did you want them to know yet? " I ask. Xiao just shakes his head. Suddenly, I was about to go super sonic at them, but Xiao quickly held my hand.
I get flustered at the sudden gesture, as everyone else but Chongyun, Xingqiu and Lumine smirks. Soon, they all leave, while Xiao was still holding my hand.
" Y/N, whyd that make you so upset? " He asks, turning me around to face him.
" I.. don't really know. " I reply. A tiny smile appears on Xiao's face, which sort of surprized me. " I find that.. cute. " His voice became a little more quieter, and softer. He began leading me to the donut shop, while I continued to become a blushing mess.
Soon, I calmed down. " Darling~ did you bring your wallet? " I ask. Xiao quickly stopped in his tracks. I noticed both his face, and the tips of his ears going bright red. " I.. y - yeah.. " He replies, stuttering quite a little.
He let go of my hand, crossing his arms. Soon, we arrived at the shop. The place had little people in it, most of the tables being free. Both me and Xiao walk up to the counter, it was nice how there was no lineup.
" Hello! What can I get you two? " A woman asks. " Can we have two jelly - filled donuts? " I ask. The woman types it down. " Anything else? " She asks. I look over to Xiao. " You want anything else? " I ask.
He shakes his head. " Then.. can I also have a coffee? Extra sugar. " I ask. The woman again types it in.
" Alright.. that will total up to 1100 mora. " Xiao quickly grabs his wallet out, handing over a 1000 mora bill, and 100 extra mora in coins.
The woman begins to grab and prepare our order, as we both wait at the counter on our left. A few minutes later, she hands me my coffee, and Xiao both of our donuts. " Have a good day you too. " The woman smiles, returning to the front.
I quickly find a table of two in front of us, so I sit down, Xiao does too. He grabs his half empty waterbottle from his bag, while I grabbed one of the donuts from inside the bag she woman put them both in.
I handed one to Xiao, while I quickly began eating mines, taking small sips of my coffee time to time. I looked at Xiao, who was taking small bites of his donut. I found it cute, and began smiling.
Xiao must've noticed me smiling, as a small smile appeared on his face. I looked away. Cuteness. Overload.
" Xiao? " I ask, swallowing some coffee. " Hm? " He hummed, curious. " Why'd you even.. begin liking me when we were children in the first place? " I look at him. His eyes trailed onto me, while he stayed silent for a few seconds.
" Mostly because you liked me, but I also liked your personality, and how you were so caring of me. You were kind, and cute. " He replied. My face had a small tint of red. " You like it when I call you cute? " He lightly chuckled.
" N - no, uh.. let's just.. finish eating.. " I looked out the window to calm myself down. Xiao? Chuckling???? I don't think I've heard him chuckle before, or, just for a long time.
Once we both finished, we left, walking home together. " That's my street, bye. " He waved to me, turning around. I'd quickly hold his hand to stop him from leaving. He hummed, a little confused.
I planted a small kiss of his cheek, smiling. " I love you! " I wave to him. " I began running back. " I.. LOVE YOU TOO! " He tried his best to yell out in the distance, it was cute.
Maybe we should go on small dates like this more often..
