Then the oracle sat down in the forest clearing, Zoe's eyes were wide as she realised she might not die this time. Percy just stood still thinking about the prophecy, He was angry that Artemis had been captured but he had to wait as they needed to hurry if they where to save her. Jordan and Grover had been ordered by Chiron to take her back to the attic. Percy decided that he would be the one to get lost in the land without rain.
They walked towards the Big House to discuss the Prophecy.
Zoe decided to choose Herself, Thalia, Bianca, Grover and reluctantly she chose Jordan as the last member. Percy wasn't angry because if the girls needed help he would provide it. Once they left the meeting Percy whispered to Zoe, "hold the necklace and call my name if you need help."
Zoe nodded and they made their way to the van where their first destination would be The Smithsonian Museum which Percy brought up pictures on his monster proof phone courtesy of Hephaestus. He was preparing himself to shadow travel if necessary.
30 minutes later,
He heard Zoe call his name in his head so he grinned. He replied" I'll be there in a minute hold on till then." and shadow travelled to the entrance of museum.
He smirked and transformed into a lion. He looked down and remarked that he was a black lion. Ragnar shouted in his head that he was not a normal lion, he was the original Lion so he was larger than usual. He would be larger than the even the Nemean Lion. He would be massive. He let out a snarl and Percy strolled stealthily into the museum to where Zoe was located.
LINE BREAK
Zoe cursed as Jordan ran into Bianca and then took of the invisibility cap. Jordan then panted out "The General is here and said he was sending a plaything to us." Zoe paled and suddenly there was a loud roar, and the Nemean Lion jumped into the room and the mortals all ran out. Zoe briefly wondered what they saw before she reached for her necklace and said "Percy."
she heard a response in her head, I'll be there in a minute, hold on till then. She looked towards Thalia and Bianca and mouthed what Percy had just said. She smiled and they both wondered what Percy was going to do. Grover asked meekly "what should we do?"
Thalia smiled and said "We need to distract it before Zoe's help arrives." Jordan snorted and Zoe glared at him causing him to gulp shakily. They then proceeded to distract the Nemean Lioness because apparently it didn't actually have a mane so it was a female.
Its skin was still as strong as ever and it pounced on each of them but they all dodged. This kept going for what felt like hours until a louder roar permeated through the air. They turned and gulped because there was a black lion with blue lines on it.
Most off all it was massive. It stood around 6 feet tall at the shoulder and about 5m long and a tail that was about a 1m long. It just stood there majestically. If this beautiful animal came for them they were truly dead.
They turned towards the Nemean Lioness which let out a whimper and then ran towards the Lion slowly and rubbed itself against the bigger lion who let out a small chuff. The Lion turned towards the exit and motioned with its head. They all quickly made they're way back towards the van they drove off and stopped at a gas station where they saw Percy sitting on the floor holding a sleeping Lion cub. Jordan and Grover lay fast asleep in the back of the van. Thalia asked "Is that another one of your mates?"
Percy snorted "She claims she is my daughter. But I suspect she is Ragnar's child and she smelled Ragnar. I gave her a memory sweet and she was terrified of me but I apologised profusely and shen turned into a lion cub. I also decided to adopt her as my own."
They just gazed at Percy noticing that he was avoiding their eyes. They both kissed him on the cheek and whispered in tandem "I think it was hot that you adopted a child." They laughed as Percy blushed. He then smirked and whispered "Does that make you mothers now?" It dawned on them and they blushed heavily. Bianca came out of the convenience store and looked puzzled until Percy explained and she blushed at Percy's statement as well.
Percy then paid for the fuel before gesturing for them to get in the truck. They continued to drive whilst being tailed by the helicopter. Jordan and Grover woke up and they told them "quickly get out, we need to escape the helicopter following us." They asked why Percy was there and they explained whilst running into the snow following. They saw a old, homeless man sitting by a small fire. They sat next to him once he offered. They huddled around the depressing flame. Percy had told his other mates that he would help Zoe, Thalia and Bianca on their quest if they needed his help.
The girls huddled up to Percy as if he was blanket to which Apollo, (the homeless guy) frowned at slightly but dismissed it as the girls were just cold. He however failed to notice the small ball of golden fluff in his lap.
They asked if the homeless man knew of a ride west. He smiled and pointed towards a brand new train that gleamed. They all turned to tank the homeless man but he was gone along with the fire. Bianca muttered something that sounded like git. Jordan and Grover chose Lamborghini's. Percy and his mates chose a ford f-150 and crawled into the bed. Percy clay there as the girls fell asleep on him. He was glad to have these beautiful women in his life. Percy then fell asleep with a smile on his face.
LINE BREAK
They woke up and saw a little child by their feet. They scrambled out of the way but Percy knelt down to her level, "Hello, Who are you?" The girl looked up with her amber eyes. Percy surveyed her, She had golden-brown hair and tanned skin. The girl smiled and hugged him saying "Hello, father." Percy chuckled and grabbed her swinging her around. She giggled but added "I am Nala, or the Nemean Lioness." Percy nodded and tears were in his eyes. The girl noticed and wiped them away making Percy smile weakly. He turned towards the girls and picked up Nala, "Nala these are some of your mothers." Nala smiled brightly and hugged them all individually greeting them as mother. They all had tears in their eyes but Percy wiped them away. He asked Nala if she could turn into her lion cub form. She pouted but agreed. She was very smart for her age. (She looked 7 years old in her human form.) He then turned to Thalia and asked softly "Can I put Nala in your backpack please." Thalia nodded and Nala whined but Percy just smiled gently and rubbed Nala's head before placing her carefully in Thalia's bag.
They got off the train sometime later and Grover fainted moaning something about the God of the Wild, Pan. Percy shrugged and gestured for Jordan to carry Grover. Suddenly the Spartoi burst out the treeline into the clearing. They hacked at them wildly destroying them but they simply reformed until Bianca stabbed one making it burst into flames. The other Spartoi hesitated for a second. Grover decided at that moment to wake up and start muttering about a gift of the wild. Suddenly the bushes rustled and a huge boar charged out the bush squealing. It was very ugly, Ten metres tall with tusks the size of canoes, a wet pink snout and ugly bristly hairs coming out its back. It charged at the Spartoi who scattered chattering in fear. The boar chase them down a hill.
15 minutes later they all sat on the back of the boar, Grover played a song on his reed pipes and an apple appeared in front of the boar which squealed and tried to reach the apple. Thalia grumbled "this thing has auto-steering absolutely great."
They rode the boar until sunset, at which point all of them had sore bottoms and got off. Jordan and Grover questioned Bianca about how she killed the Spartoi, but Bianca just faked confusion.
Suddenly a limo pulled up and Ares stepped up. Ares sneered at all of them, but gestured for Jordan to talk to whoever was in the limo. Ares made the Taco shop open and the went inside and quietly ate tacos.
10 minutes later,
Percy felt a love curse being placed on him. He growled. Ragnar and Percy tried to destroy the curse inside Percy's head. They destroyed it but Ragnar noticed something and gulped. Where there was once 9 white strings extending from Percy's heart. There was one more.
Ragnar told Percy what he had found and Percy started growl under his breath cursing his stupid half brother.
LINE BREAK
Zoe was chatting to Grover and the others when Percy growled. They glanced at Percy and saw his eyes flashing pink. Zoe gulped the others looked at her curiously. Zoe stuttered "Pink eyes mean that Aphrodite has cursed him." The girls grew anxious. They stared at Percy who's eyes flickered between pink, gold and sea green. They looked out the window and saw Ares and Aphrodite disappear and Jordan walking towards them. They couldn't see the smirk that decorated Jordan's face. They heard a growl and looked towards Percy who just growled and darted out the front and picked up Jordan by the throat.
Percy growled something to Jordan who smirked and said something back smugly. Percy tossed Jordan into the ground with a bit more force than necessary. and walked back towards them. He snorted and just stared at them through the window. Suddenly his eyes flashed white with no pupil. His eyes then turned back to normal. He tossed a ball of water at Jordan. and then strode up to Grover and whispered menacingly "Forget..." Grover's eyes rolled and he slumped back in the chair unconscious. Percy then went over to Jordan and bent down whispering something to him as well. Percy dragged him in and tossed him on a chair unceremoniously.
Percy sat down on a bench and rubbed his temples growling in annoyance. Bianca asked carefully "What did he do?"
Percy let out a low rumble and stated bitterly "My fucking half brother annoyed Aphrodite and cursed him but he said his name Was Percy Jackson." They looked at Jordan hatefully who winced in his sleep. Percy continued obviously irritated "Ragnar and I tried to destroy the curse but we couldn't," he held his hand up to stop the questions that they had, "But now I have 10 mates instead of 9. I will care for all of you and the 3 that I am yet to find." The girls were angry at Jordan and Aphrodite but relieved that Percy would love them all equally.
Percy then confessed "My father gave me more power, which I didn't ask for." He muttered but continued regardless "Now I can manipulate memories, delete them or create new ones. Restore old ones. Or make someone see their worst nightmare." They all shuddered but hugged Percy who looked annoyed at his father but also a bit vulnerable.
Percy relaxed. He then said "I think my dad wants us to go to his realm called Exhulm after this quest. I suspect that the rest of my mates are there because I am technically a heir to the throne of Exhulm."
They took in this information before they said they would follow Percy.
Percy then told them of his plan to ask some of his friends who will die in the future if they wanted to join his team, once Chaos and his father had revealed what the compound was for. All they had told him was he needed to create a team.
Thalia asked hesitantly "Who are you going to ask to join you?"
Percy listed "I will ask: Connor and Travis Stroll, Katie Gardner, Silena Beauregard, Charles Beckendorf, Piper Mclean, Leo Valdez, Calypso, Frank Zhang, Hazel Levesque and Jason Grace."
He thought for a minute, "I will also aske Tyson, Nico and Will." He added.
They nodded at the list but Zoe and Bianca looked confused at some of the names so Percy explained. Though Bianca did look relieved to see that Percy would ask Nico and his boyfriend.
5 mins later,
Grover and Jordan woke up. They glanced around and saw 4 people staring at them. Percy taunted "Finally, the Sleepy-heads awake."
They then dragged them to their feet and walked towards the junkyard they saw. Zoe warned "This is the graveyard of the Gods, touch nothing if you want to live." They made their way through but suddenly there was a rumbling. and a giant bronze figure started to rise. Percy looked around and saw that Jordan had took something they all drew their weapons. Percy snarled at Jordan but they all stepped back as a smaller version of Talos appeared to rise from the giant.
It pulled a giant sword from the ground and let out a scream as it swung the sword. Percy mind message his mates:
Percy: Get it to lifts its heel and I will disable it.
Thalia: You can't you will die!
Percy: (calmly) I am immune to all kinds of fire remember. Plus I hope to be blasted to a certain island so I can free a certain someone.
Zoe: Ok, Percy but please free my half-sister if you can.
All the girls grew determined faces and shouted to Jordan "Distract the giant bronze statue." Jordan nodded sacred at the look he had being given. They distracted the giant and got it to raise its foot. and Percy took the chance running at the giant and smashing through the panel. They waited with bated breath until the robot stood still and steam started to come out of its ears.
Suddenly the was an earth-shattering BOOM! and the statue blew apart. They saw a figure being blown away in the distance. Thye sighed in relief as Percy was alive and hopefully going where he wanted.
They grabbed a truck and made their way west to Mount Tamalpais, where they would meet Percy again hopefully.
