"Ma'am" Shraddha calls Suman who was lost in her thoughts
"Yeah.. Yeah, bring the small hot water bag from our jeep Shraddha" ordered Suman while removing her winter clothes because the room was hot with an electric fireplace on.
Shraddha leaves the room
Basi comes near "Is he okay? Sim" asked worried Basi. "yeah, he's fine. High fever made him unconscious. I'll try to give him medication and he'll be alright" replied Suman after checking his heartbeat and pulse
Basi nods his head. He gets a phone call and leaves the room to attend it.
Suman leans forward and faces unconscious Shravan and rubs his cheek which is now rough with little spots of beard.
"You didn't take care of yourself hmm? Should I send a troop to get you killed?"
"Your cheek" a pause "It's not soft anymore, it's clean but pokes" whispered Suman with a sad little smile and she kept on touching his cheek with the back of her palm
Little Suman loved to touch his soft cheeks
"and your hair...." Suman notices his too-short hair. His scalp is lightly visible and have little dark brown highlights. She misses his long puffy hair which she used to play with when small.
Suman keeps her hand near him on bed for support which made her notice his abs. His uniform looked quite tight on him.
"Lazy barbie doll started working out in the gym?" whispers Suman with a little laugh. "kidding kidding, you look too handsome"
Suman notices his acrylic name badge.

Her fingertips touch the badge pinned near his chest. "You're a major? can't believe" Suman whispers
A tiny drop of tear falls from her eye and she immediately wipes it.
"I hate the change but I love the new"
Shraddha comes into the room with a hot water bag. She gives the bag to Suman. Meanwhile, Basi too comes back after a few seconds.
"First we need to give him medicine. Give me Syrup from my backpack Shraddha"
"Why syrup ma'am? We can easily administer an injection" said a confused Shraddha
"No. Don't.. he has needle phobia" replied Suman
"Wow Simsim, you know everything. Have you met him before?" asked shocked Basi with a chuckle.
"We were classmates and loved each other" Suman honestly admitted. "That means you were that 'Sumo' whose name he kept on muttering when unconscious" revealed Basi. Suman stood silently in an unaffected manner.
"Did he have food before fainting? We can make him drink the syrup if he had"
"Yes, rice & rajma. Later he had ice cream with a kid"
"Ice cream?" asked a little surprised Suman
"chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry mix"
"Do you still love him?"
"Not anymore Alibaba" Suman lied
"We need to give him syrup as soon as he responds" Suman changes the topic again
A few minutes later
Weak Shravan gets his consciousness. He tries to open his eyes but severe headache doesn't let him do so. He tries to speak but throat pain is hurting him so bad.
Suman & Basi sitting on sofa chairs nearby notices little movements of his hands and goes near him.
"You okay Major?" asked a little worried Suman
Shravan finds this voice too familiar but the pain is not letting him think. He tries to open his eyes, he gets a blurry vision and his head and throat still hurt. All he can do is just listen with closed eyes.
"Alibaba, I feel his head and throat are hurting so bad, creased forehead and him keeping a hand on neck.. It looks like he is in pain. We need to give him the syrup" Worried Suman tells Basi
"Listen to me, Major. I'm your doctor and I'm here to help you. We need to give you a syrup and it will make you feel better. Please do listen to our instructions" said Suman
"Hmm" says Shravan with pain
Suman sits near him and half-scoops him out of bed. She adjusts and makes his head lay on her shoulder.
"Drink this major. You'll feel better" instructed Suman
He opens his mouth a little and she makes him drink the syrup.
"Good job, you're strong" complimented Suman
Suman keeps a hot water bag on his head and neck. He gives a faddish smile.
She makes him lay back on the bed after giving a hot compress.
"Shraddha, take out Vicks balm from my backpack" ordered Suman
Shraddha gives Vicks to her. Suman opens it, takes a scoop out with her index finger and starts massaging his forehead. This familiar massage gave him relief. He let out a sigh.
"Feeling better Major?" asked Suman while giving a massage
"Hmmm" he replies
After the head, she started massaging his throat. It tickles Shravan which made him release a very soft laugh.
Suman called Basi near
"Alibaba, I've an important work to do. We'll leave. Do give him a Vicks massage on his chest and back" ordered Suman softly
"You do it Sim, you know me right? I'm really bad at massages plus you're a doctor. You shouldn't escape from your doctor duties" replied basi in a whisper
"Urghh, you're an asshole" snapped Suman in a low voice
"Your love said the same thing. Same Pinch and Thank you" Basi pulled her leg.
"Baasssiiii, shut up! I just wish to kill you on the spot"
"You're a doctor. Here to save lives, not to kill" replied basi
Suman just closes her eyes and hits her hand on her head.
"What a weird cousin I've got"
"Hello Major, hope you're feeling better now"
"May we get the permission to umm... unbutton your shirt to apply Vicks please? " asked Suman
"It's not 'we', it's 'I' damn it Simsim" scowled Basi in a whisper
Suman just closed her eyes and sighs thinking her cousin is completely insane.
Shravan permits with a nod.
She slowly unbuttons his shirt and realizes he's wearing a vest
"Should I apply Vicks on his vest Alibababa? You can't help in massage, at least help me remove it" scolded Suman
"Deal!" replied basi
"Come on buddy, we need to remove vest out of you" Basi helps to remove all his upper clothes . He makes him lie in bed.
"My job is done. Now it's your turn" Basi tells Suman
Suman sits near Shravan again. His abs are huge that she wishes to devour those.
Forgetting everything and coming back to reality, she takes Vicks bottle and takes out a little scoop and started applying it on his chest. Her fingers roam around the area where his heart is beating.
A very familiar touch
He tries to remember what he forgot with a creased forehead
Suman after massaging his chest, half scoops him out of the bed. Makes his chin rest on her shoulder.
"Hug after soo long" whispers Basi with a smile.
She starts applying Vicks on his back and gives a massage. He tries to inhale the air with his half-blocked nose.
He recognized her fragrance
