It's been 2 months since the whole incident
A lot has happened ever since. Like, for instance, Sarah and I have been hanging out a lot more often. She's begun to accept the fact that I was a singer. And we had a lot of fun walking in the park and sitting on the swings of a small playground.
As for Winston, he and Sarah broke up on June 24th. But he's now found a new girlfriend, who he loves dearly.
For Kate, she was now rivaling me at academics. Aiming for the top spot in the class. I had a really hard time studying just to be able to beat her. She was incredibly smart, almost like a child prodigy. She joined the school talent show a week ago and she won second place. She's also big on youtube. She's known as "TheNerdVloggerKatie". She vlogs about everything, from food to fashion, and she's a gamer, which was pretty awesome.
Catherine Starlet joined the X Factor and now she's one of the ones in the finals. Coached by Simon Cowell I think, I'm not really sure about how X Factor works, cause I don't really watch it much. She was now also very famous. So hanging out with her was really hard, what with all the fans, haters, bashers, interviews, preparing for the show and stuff. If this was hard for me, imagine how hard this had to be for her boyfriend. Her boyfriend, well, was Winston. He once complained to me about how hard being a celebrity's, well, a person who's about to become a celebrity's boyfriend.
As for me, well I was busy rehearsing for the huge Maximum Beat concert. I had to keep on practicing with some dancers and a band in a room with huge mirrors. I had to stop myself from drinking shakes and smoothies. And I always had to wear baggy pants, which was never explained to me why I had to wear them.
So, I was thinking about this while driving to school. Today was the day of the huge Maximum Beat concert. I didn't bother to turn on the radio cause I knew that's what all the reporters would be talking about. And when people talk about things this huge, it makes me nervous, especially since I'm performing.
I pulled up the parking lot and parked my Impala. I didn't wanna risk my Ferrari again, which was very precious to me. And believe me, we don't have that much money to buy another custom made Ferrari.
During my Calculus period, I was thinkjng about the concert, instead of writing down stuff like I usually do. The teacher noticed of course, but she surprisingly didn't say anything about it. Lunch time was awesome though, cause Catherine was in school and her rehearsals were still in a few days. Everyone was just staring at Cathy, especially the guys. And Winston's face was priceless. It was funny as heck when he would glare at all the guys that dared look at Cathy. And the fact that she basically had a fan club wasn't hepling.
Sarah and I were chatting about the upcoming concert.
"My stomach is in knots and I'm nervous as heck!" I said
"You've held three solo concerts before already right?" She said
"Yeah I did, but it doesn't change the fact that this is taking place in MSG. Or the fact that my stomach keeps hurting everytime I think of the damn concert! And everytime it hurts, it makes me wanna poop!" I said
"Wahahahahahahahaha! Makes...you...wanna...poop!! Wahahahahahahahaha! Wahahahahahahaha!" Sarah laughed so freaking hard that my friends turned to stare.
Oh, and Sarah and Winston weren't having any of that "awkward" action thing. Their break up was mutual, so it wasn't really awkward to be just friends.
Them breaking up also meant a chance for me to date Sarah.
I mean, I really like Sarah, but I'm not really sure if she likes me back. In fact, I'm gonna ask her out today. In the concert. In front of all the people. I know I'm usually a pussy, but I'm gonna do this for the girl I love.
I was really nervous. Especially since I could be turned down in front of a LOT of people.
So after school, which was like 3 PM, I decided to invite my friends to my house. Everyone decided to come except Kate, cause she had to record a new game for her YouTube channel. And according to her, I quote "A lot of my subscribers are counting on me guys, I'm sorry, you guys go ahead".
So when we got to my house, we decided to go for a swim. The girls, Cathy and Sarah, just sat by the beach chairs while Winston and I kept racing each other.
At 5 PM, they already left cause they had to prepare for the flight to New York City. NYC was a bit far away and our flight was at 5:45 PM. Well, their flights were at 5:45. Mine was on a private plane, which could take off anytime I wanted it to, cause my dad owned hundreds of these.
I had already packed and taken a bath when we rode the Hummer. My dad was riding shotgun while my mom and I were in the backseat. Our butler was driving.
When we got to the airport, we went through the private entrance thing, and then drove towards the private jet. It was a kind of huge 16 seater thing.
When we got out of the car, I was greeted by my stylist, who ushered me onto the plane. Inside the plane was everything I needed to prepare. From clothes to hair products to shoes and stuff. The plane was custom made for that purpose, again, not my money, courtesy of my dad.
So, while we were flying, I changed into different clothes. Most of my costumes highlighted black and gold. Even my shoes. And of course, the signature mask.
And then my stylist handed me a pair of shoes and I put them on. They were a black and gold pair of D&G's. They were pretty awesome. He then ushered me onto a chair and started working on my hair, and the result was amazing. Its like everytime he styles my hair, he comes up with a new style.
So, I'll just describe the plane for now while waiting for us to arrive in NYC. It was already 6:17 PM. So basically, when you enter, there is a small dresser complete with hair styling products and make up stuff, which I hate by the way. The make up, not the hair products. Then, there is a small room for me to change in, then another small room with a bed, and a bathroom. Then there was a small couch with a refrigerator with different beverages in it. And a television on the wall. And then of course, the pilot's cockpit.
Finally, we landed in the airport. I wore a hoodie over my black shirt and put on my mask. Then we went over to the inspection areas. They scanned me all over then let me go.
When I walked out of the airport, there was a limousine waiting for me. There were bars everywhere and there were lots of people already screaming my name. Well, MusicMax, not my real name. I got into the limo thinking that this was a bit too fancy. Why couldn't they just pick me up in a regular car, where I wouldn't attract attention and stuff.
We got to MSG at like 7:30. The concert starts at 8:00. And I was freaking scared. There were already thousands of people outside. And then there was the fact that this concert was being televised all over the world. The tickets were already sold out, I was told.
At 8:00, the lights dimmed. I was already backstage behind these doors that were gonna open slowly to give an effect. When the lights dimmed, lots of people started screaming.
Then lasers turned on, they were a lot of different colors. Then a huge bang was heard. I looked through the monitors backstage that there was a sign in white writing that said "MAXIMUM BEAT!". Then, I looked through the other monitor and I saw my friends in the seats on the front row that I gave them.
Then, the DJ said
"Are you ready!"
The crowd replied a yes
"I said are you READY??"
A louder yes came from the crowd
"I CANT HEAR YOU!" The DJ said
A louder yes came out
"Here he is! MUSICMAX!"
I positioned myself behind the doors. Then they slowly opened and smoke came out. People cheered.
I really dont wanna explain the whole concert. But it became fun after a few songs. After every 3 songs, I had to go backstage to change. Then, finally, after 12 songs, the love song part came, where I had to serenade someone.
I had planned for this to be Sarah. So when Sarah was sat on the chair in the middle of the stage, the music played and I started singing "On My Mind by Cody Simpson"
I'm sleepin through the day
I'm tryin not to fade
But every single night I've just been lyin awake and I
I cant get you off my mind
I was singing this from the heart. And Sarah was showing a face of mixed emotions.
I finished the rest of the song and by then Sarah was crying. I hugged her then knelt on the ground. The spotlight was on me. And I was nervous.
I popped the question
"Sarah Amorr, will you be my girlfriend?" I asked
She was crying and her face filled with mixed emotions. The crowd cheered.
Her answer surprised me
