"You ready to talk?" Saint asked as he walked into the room, kalani was laying on the bed on her side typing on her computer, she was emailing the construction company about her building. She was also setting her booking site up
"About?" She mumbled pushing her hair out of her way, he sat on the bed looking at her
"That kiss lani" he said staring at her she blew a breathe and closed her laptop giving him her undivided attention
"Why did you kiss me mama" he spoke up and she looked down playing with her nails
"I don't know " she whispered and he swiped his tongue across his bottom lip
"I mean I Saint I don't know. I can say I was drunk and I kissed you but in reality I wasn't drunk I was really tipsy but not that drunk. Lately being around you my feelings have been up and down one minute I'm mad at you for you hurting me then the next minute I look at you and all the memories come back and it's hard but I can't avoid you I have to be around you because we share a daughter " she poured out her feelings and Saint listened to everything she said
"Do you still love me ?" He asked her and she opened her mouth before closing it again. She didn't wanna answer that she didn't wanna say it outloud they both knew the truth she's loved him forever and she never stopped.
Baby... mamas.. lani.. get up mama" Saint has been up for a while he had to run out the house at 5am to deal with one of the niggas a the trap. Now it's 9am and he's back home bothering a sleeping kalani
"Saint moveeee I'm sleepy " she whined turning over to the other side, she worked all day yesterday doing hair she was a hairstylist full time Saint never wanted her to work but he loved how independent she was.
"Mama you been sleep all this time. I'm bored I miss you" he kissed all over her face and she opened her eyes smiling she loved how clingy he was
"Okay I'm up" she pushed his face and stretched her body , she sat up letting the sheet fall down, she was wearing a white tangtop with a blue thong. She swung her legs off the bed putting her feet into the slides, she stood up and walked to the bathroom that connected to Saint bedroom.
Saint watched her go into the bathroom she sat on the toilet which was blocked by the door so he couldn't see her. She wiped herself then flush the toilet. She stood up going to the Saint where Saint could see her she washed her hands then her face then brushed her teeth after she finished she walked back into the room crawling on top of Saint who was laying on his back watching family guy
"Good morninggggg" she smiled placing her forehead against his as clingy as he was she was too
"What you wanna do today?"he asked her and she shrugged.
"It's hot as fuck outside you wanna go out with shooter and his baby momma ? " he reached his hands over her ass and started to rub it
"Yeah that's fine, I've missed you daddy" she pouted kissing his lips , they both been busy all week and barely had any time to spend together
"I know mama I'm sorry, I've been lacking this week " he kissed her back and she pulled away
"You so pretty mama" he stared at her making her hide her face she loved how much he complimented her ,

"Did you eat?" She rubbed his beard staring at him
"Nah I went out and came back trying to make sure you ain't wake up and I wasn't here" he chuckled a bit and she nodded sitting up
"You want breakfast?" She asked him and he nodded happily
"Ok move so I can make you breakfast " she gave him a peck before sliding from next to him standing up, she grabbed her phone and slipped on her slides before walking out of the room down the steps towards the kitchen. She pulled out eggs for herslef because Saint isn't a fan , turkey bacon for saint because he doesn't eat pork and pancakes with some fruit.
As she was cooking the food Saint came downstairs dressed in black sweats and no shirt. He walked behind her wrapped his arms around her she had the speaker playing beyonce dangerously in love
"Everytime I see your face my heart smiles" she sung with the music and Saint prepped kisses on the side of her jaw as they swayed side to side
"You need help?" He asked her and she shook her head no
"No I'm just making the eggs last for myself the rest of the stuff is done if you want it" she told him and he nodded, she finished the eggs pouring them into her bowl. She turned the burner off and sat the fork down turning around giving Saint her attention.
He looked down into her eyes she was nothing but happiness to him everytime he looked at her it was pure happiness and butterflies she made him nervous she made him feel like he could be a better man she made him a better man.
"I love you" he said and she paused shocked by him saying that, she knew that she loved him but she didn't wanna say it and spook him away. Him saying it first caught her by total surprise
"You.. you what? " she said stuttering and his lips spreaded to a smile
"I love you mama , I've been wanting to say that shit for a while but the little shit you do for me makes me wanna tell you that shit 7,000 times a day. " he said and her bottom lip poked out
"I love you so much Saint. " she wrapped her arms around his neck pulling his face close to hers kissing his lips
"I can't believe you said it" she mumbled against his lips and he kissed her again.
"I love you kalani treasure Carter " he rubbed her back smiling looking down at her
"I love you more Saint Michael Carter"
"Saint I-" kalani got cut off by a crying Dakota she shook her head knowing that her daughter wasn't going to last long in the crib for some reason that little girl hates cribs. She stood up going straight into the room with Saint hot on her trail
"Hi baby did I leave you in the crib? I'm such a bad mommy I'm sorry" she picked her up seeing Dakota with tears down her face and her bottom lip poking out making kalani feel bad
"I'm sorry you wanna lay with me?" She rubbed her back and Saint watched them both
"Mmmmmmm" Dakota whined and kalani walked out of the room going into Saint room laying on his bed
"Damn y'all just take over my shit huh?" He shook his head looking at them, Dakota heard his voice and propped her head up looking at Saint
"Hi fat fat you mad? " he sat on the bed and Dakota rolled off of kalani chest sitting up wiping her face
"She be faking man" he shook his head picking her up and she went straight for his chain
"She do. She hates the crib she refuses to be in there longer than an hour" kalani said yawning, she turned on her stomach and laid her head on his pillow
"You sleepy " he looked over at kalani who was laying there dozing off
"Yes "
"You staying over?" He asked her and she nodded, she got under the covers and pulled them up to her chest
"MMMMMMBABABAB" Dakota yelled at kalani who opened her eyes looking at her
"Come on Kota let's take a nap" she patted the bed
"You two Saint come on" she looked at him and he raised his eyebrows before shaking his head, he sat up pulling the blanket back placing Dakota in the middle of the both of them
"Dakota stop it" kalani said grabbing Dakota hand, Dakota kept poking her face, Saint grabbed the remote turning on the tv the question he asked earlier still wondering on his mind he wanted to ask her again but he didn't want to push it.
His phone started to ring and kalani looked over seeing the name Trina flash making her scuff, she shook her head and Saint looked at her and grabbed his phone declining the call. Kalani shook her head laughing to herself before throwing the blanket off of her and grabbing her phone
"Lani.. lani! Shit man" she slammed the door behind her and Dakota giggled like it was funny, Saint looked at her and shook his head. He knew better than to go bother her at this moment because it wouldn't end well.

"Nigga you straight?" Von asked Saint who was sitting there staring into space , he's currently at the club having a meeting with the managers he hired. He likes to have a meeting once a week to make sure his business is going well
"Yeah I'm Ight" he cleared his throat and stood up
"Uh we good here right g?" He looked at the managers who nodded, he walked off into his office blowing a breath he was still frustrated with last night. She wouldn't talk to him unless it was about Dakota, she made him drop her off of course she took dakota with her because Saint had to work this morning
"Nigga what the hell is wrong with yo ass"
Von said walking into Saint office , him and Saint were business partners and best friends von was part owners of the club
"Lani not fucking with me" he grabbed the blunt behind his ear and reach in his pocket grabbing a lighter
"Nigga what the fuck did you do?" One thing about Saint and von is they were always fucking up if one of them fucked up the other one wasn't to far behind
" we kissed n shit and then we hung out I wanted to talk to her about it but yo niece a fucking cock blocker , after we got her quiet Trina called my phone and lani ain't been fucking with me since" Saint lit his blunt taking a pull from it
"Damn nigga Trina? You still fucking with her?" Von shook his head in disappointment he hated Trina gold digging ass
"Nah man I ain't fucked with her since before I seen lani since then I been dodging her calls and text "
"You trynna get lani back? " Saint passed the blunt to von nodding
"I never stopped wanting lani, I still love her as much as I have before I ain't gon lie and say my heart don't hurt from the fact that she kept our baby from me. That shit kinda sting ain't gon lie. " von listened to his friend vent , Saint has been through a lot this year and lani coming back with a baby was the icing n the cake
"Man you gotta talk to her about this shit. If this shit is eating you alive tell her that, y'all gotta talk about some deep shit man ion need yo ass going back to how you was before lani came back" von shook his head passing the blunt back
"I'm trying man but ion wanna say the wrong thing to set her off at the end of da day I'm wrong I cheated on her, shit if she cheated on me ion know how the fuck I would react "
"Look at the end of the da day man y'all got a kid y'all got a cute ass baby who needs both of y'all, you still love kalani you look at her like she's the only girl in the world Nigga that's how it should be. " Saint listened to von nodding his head he had a lot to do and he was gonna do that shit now , his phone vibrated and it was kalani texting him about Dakota doctor appointment for her 9 month check up
"Ight you cool here? I gotta go to Dakota appointment " he stood up and von nodded, Saint grabbed his hat his keys and his phone and walked out of his office towards the front door, he walked to his car getting inside. He sped off to the doctors office , parking next to kalani.
He got out the car looking over seeing kalani and Dakota in the car, kalani body was stretched to the back unbuckling Dakota seat , Dakota looked over seeing Saint making her smile and reach for him he chuckled and walked towards the door opening it making kalani scream
"Saint what the fuck!" She yelled making Dakota cry, kalani screaming scaring Dakota , Saint shook his head grabbing Dakota out of her seat picking her up
"Shushhhh my bad fat fat" he patted her back bouncing her as she calmed down, he looked over seeing kalani getting out the car mugging him
"What you mugging me for" he smiled as he kissing Dakota forehead
"Because yoy scared me making me scare my baby"
"She was reaching for me I thought you saw me right there" Dakota head popped up , she wasn't crying anymore
"No I didn't! Come on her appointment is about to start" kalani turned on her heels walking inside the building.
"Dakota Carter ?" The nurse called out and kalani looked up nodding, Saint stood up with Dakota in his hand and followed behind kalani the nurse walked them into the room
"Okay hi cutie! You can take off her clothes leaving the diaper on we're gonna weight her" Saint nodded sitting her on the bed taking off her onesie leaving her in her diaper
"Ok she's 22Ib and 2oz " the nurse told them and kalani nodded watching Dakota trying to bit saints ring
"Is that good?" Kalani asked the nurse who nodded
"Yes! The normal baby weight at 9 months is 18 pounds for a girl so she's fine !"the nurse smiled writing it down
"You heard that koko you need to hit the gym" Saint said making kalani gasp, she punched his arm and he hissed
"Ah damn I was joking " he rubbed his arm looking at kalani shaking her head , the nurse laughed at them
"Okay the doctor should be in soon, she is getting a shot today so she's going to give her that " the nurse told them and kalani nodded the nurse walked out of the room
"She gotta get a shot? For fucking what? " Saint mugged looking down at Dakota who was trying to pulled her self up , she was pulling on his shirt before he helped her stand up
"Saint she has to get shots every few months she's a baby, you gon cry?" She smirked teasing him
"Nah, but if she start crying we leaving I'm not playing" he said all seriously making kalani laugh , the doctor walked in making Saint mug reappeared on his face
"Hello! I'm doctor Lacey and I'm assuming this is Dakota, and you two are the parents!" She said and kalani shook her hand
"Oh your so cute! Alright she has to only get one shot today and she's done. First I wanna listen to her heart to make sure everything alright " Saint nodded moving Dakota off of him back onto the bed, she doctor listen to her heart and Dakota tried pulling the stethoscope from out of her ears, the doctor pulled away smiling before turning around grabbing the gloves putting them on. She then grabbed the needle
"Ok dad are you ready? It's gonna be in her thigh so I need you to hold her still" Saint nodded and held Dakota down kalani pulled out her phone recording it, as soon as she stuck the needle in Dakota bursted into tears screaming at the top of her lungs, the doctor took the needle away and Saint quickly picked her up with a mug on his face
"I'm sorry" the doctor said and Saint mumbled walking away bouncing Dakota on his shoulder while kalani was sitting there laughing at Saint
"So you guys have any more questions?" The doctor asked and Saint was quiet he was rubbing Dakota back as she cried he was pissed and kalani thought it was so funny
"No thank you!" Kalani said smiling at the doctor
"You're welcome! I'll see you all again after she turns one, I'm sorry again pretty girl, you all enjoy your day bye" she walked out of the room and Saint mumbled
"I should shoot her ass" Saint mumbled kalani laugh again
"Get my baby dressed " kalani shook her head looking at Dakota who was laying on Saint shoulder with dried up tears on her face, kalani grabbed a wiped and wiped her face and Dakota mugged her
"Y'all are gonna stop mugging me! " she rolled her eyes as Saint laid her down putting on her onesie she had a pout on her face he rubbed her thigh where the bandaid was
"Daddy sorry fat fat it's all mommy fault"Saint said as he zipped her onesie up, he picked her up laying her on his chest
"Yeah now it's my fault,come on Saint I'm hungry " she grabbed her purse and walked out of the doctors office, Saint watched her as she walked out of the building
"You look good mama" Saint said smirking he knew she was still mad at him but he didn't care he always had to let her know that she looked good she ignored him walking to her car unlocking it
"Where y'all going?" Saint asked her as he opened the back door placing Dakota in the seat, she whined holding on to his shirt
"Come on Kota stop, you gotta get in the seat " he kissed her cheek sitting her down in her seat, he buckled her in and kissed her forehead then placed the pacifier in her mouth and she spit it out turning her head away from him
"You got an attitude just like ya mama man" he shook his head before shutting the door he walked around to kalani side
"Yes street ?" She loooked at him and he smiled
"Where you going?"he asked her leaning against her window
"Dejah house well shit von house , she wants to see Dakota " she sat her phone down and turned her head towards Saint
"Damn am I invited ?" He licked his lips looking at her
"Nah I don't think Trina would want you there " she said smartly making him suck his teeth
"You playing n shit lani "
"Yeah yeah whatever, tell your bitch I said wassup. Anyways I gots to go see ky bestie " she sung the bestie part putting on her seatbelt
"I ain't got no bitch cut that shit out, I'll met you there tho" he stood up fixing his hat looking at her biting his lip that jealousy shit kinda turned him on
"You think you so slick, whatever Saint. Move so I can get out of here" she said smartly and he shook his head backing up watching her pull off
"Drive safe with my baby bro" he told her and she held her middle finger up at him pulling off , he shook his head getting inside of his car driving off
