I'd stare throughout the window beside me. This morning, I had homeroom for my first two classes, as usual. Mrs. Ningguang was explaining about various math methods, and other stuff. We already learnt it, yes, but she was just going over it. I felt bored, and sleepy.
I've been up pretty late every night, since I just keep remembering bits and pieces of my.. past life. I know it's not really possible to remember a past life at all, unless it is.. it's shocking.
I was a adventurer. I was also.. Lumine's friend. From there, I met the cold hearted adeptus, Xiao. After that, I just can't exactly remember anything. I still only remember puzzle peices of it, which annoys me.
" Y/N? What's the answer to it? " She asked. I just looked at her, dumbfounded. I didn't even know what she was talking about. " Uh.. I don't know, I uh.. " I stutter. She just looked at me, then back to the blackboard. " Please, Y/N, pay attention. Your gonna be in collage in a year or two. " She sighed, before continuing the lesson.
Right, I'm at my second last year of highschool, though I'm not sure what I want to be yet. Suddenly, in the corner of my eye, I see a hand pass a note to me. I quickly open it, it was from Xiao. I could tell by his neat handwriting.

Without the teacher noticing, I'd quickly place the note on his desk. I just pretended to pay attention to her lesson, despite feeling tired. I could hear Xiao writing down in the peice of paper, I hope Mrs. Ningguang didn't notice.
Soon, Xiao placed the peice of paper back on my desk. I'd open it, struggling to find where he wrote.

I wondered why he didn't want everyone else to come walk with him to his house, but I didn't question. I'd slip the peice of paper in my pocket, continuing to.. or attempting to listen to Mrs. Ningguang's lesson.
Though.. maybe I should just quickly text everyone about it.

I looked up to see Mrs. Ningguang, looking at me and Hu Tao, I put my phone back in my pocket, continuing to pretend I'm doing something.

" See you two at Xiao's house! " Lumine waved goodbye to both Xiao and I, while they walked the opposite way from ours. Now, both Xiao and I were walking to his house, together. " Oh right! Hold on, let me tell my mom.. " I quickly stop, while Xiao also stops and waits patiently.
After a few minutes, I slip my phone back into my pocket. " Alright, let's go now. " I smile, leading the way this time. Soon, he was walking in front of me. He was pretty fast, but I didn't expect him to.. walk so fast either.
Suddenly he turned to me, offering a hand. I accepted, and took it. " Honestly, I can't believe you liked me. " I hummed. " It's not so shocking if you think about it. " Xiao replies, a mix of coldness, and tenderness in his tone of voice.
" But.. I also can't believe we had.. past lives. You were a.. adeptus, and I was an adventurer. " I continue. " Lumine even began remembering. Hu Tao, and Venti too! " I smile. " Lumine was a Traveler from another world, Hu Tao was a funeral director, even Venti was a Archon! Isn't that awesome!? " I looked at Xiao, who had a smallest smile in the world painted on his face.
" Come on, we're almost here. " He began to lead me again, walking a little faster then before. Soon, we arrived at his house. Once we stepped in, I removed my shoes, Xiao did too. " Ah.. hey there Xiao..! " Ganyu peeked a corner from the living room. " Hey, I'll be going upstairs now. " Xiao waved to her, before leading me upstairs.
He opened the door, and hung his school bag on his chair. I just left mines on the floor, by his bed. " I think the groups gonna be here anytime soon. " I said, sitting on his bed. Xiao took a seat on his chair.
" Can we.. discuss about what we found about about our past lives? " He asked. I nodded. " From what I found -- " Xiao was cut off, by the sound of loud knocking from his door. " Oh, I'll go get it! " I begin going downstairs, while Xiao just watched me leave.
I'd quickly jump down the stairs, actually not falling at all. Opening the door, Hu Tao gave me a big, tight bear hug. " You're.. hugging me.. so.. tightly.. " I manage to say. Hu Tao just quickly pulls away, inviting herself in. Everyone else did the same, and they all left their shoes at the door. " Come on, lets go see Xiao~! " Hu Tao smiled, leading everyone upstairs.
The door was still open, so Hu Tao ran inside Xiao's room, attempting to scare Xiao. Surprizingly, he wasn't scared a bit. " Try better next time. " He crossed his arms, before standing up from his chair.
" Okay so, can I go first? " Hu Tao excitedly jumps, while Chongyun closes the door. " Hu Tao was really excited about this, so she really wants to go first.. " Lumine intervened. " Okay, Hu Tao, you can go. " I reply.
Hu Tao cleared her throat, while the rest of us sat down to listen. " I had a pryo vision!! " She smiled. She cleared her throat again, preparing herself to explain, and say quite a lot.

" Director! Director! There's a ghost after me! " A man says to a woman with pigtails. " Oh? " The girl replies. She puts a hand to her chin. " Ha, don't get too excited. Theres are clients, not ghosts. " She chuckles, while looking at the blonde haired girl, with a floating, white haired companion.
" Exactly! We said we're not ghosts, why won't you calm down and let us explain? " The floating white haired companion complains. " Although... " clients " doesn't seem quite right either.. " She looks at the blonde haired woman, while the girl with pigtails look between the two.
" Aiya, forgive me, this is one of our new undertakers, Meng. It's his first time working at a funeral, so of course, he's afraid of his own shadow. " The girl explains, while the male looks between the three.
" Funeral... Funeral... Oh! The Wangsheng Funeral Parlor -- Zhongli is a consultant there. They deal with this stuff a lot, right? " The floating white - haired child asks, scratching her head.
" Oh, you know Zhongli? Well! That saves me a lot of explaining. " The girl with pigtails rests both hands on her hips, only the slightest bit surprized that they knew Zhongli, a man who seems to be more then meets the eye.
" I'm Hu Tao, the current director of the Wangsheng Funeral Palor, " The girl continues, putting a hand to her chest area. " responsible for... well, trifling matters having to do with mortality. "
" A satisfying trade to be in, though, and Wangsheng Funeral Parlor is well - known around town. Whatever the request, I'd be glad to hear it. " The woman smiles. " I don't think we fall into the " client " category.. " The blonde haired girl comments.
" Yeah, if we were looking for Wangsheng Funeral Parlor's help, this is hardly the place we would come to. " The floating companion rests both of her small arms on her hips.
" Ah but you see, I wasn't referring to clients in the business sense. Everyone who enters this mortal realm will be a client of mine. " The girl smiles, while everyone else looked at her confused, except the male on the woman's side.
" Sooner or later.. " The girl mumbled.

" Ta - da! We're ~ here! " A girl in pigtails bursts though the door, while a boy, who had dark teal hair, with green - ish streaks in his hair. Everyone sitting at the table looked at the two.
" Were not late to the party, right? Right? " The girl asks everyone, while the boy remained silent at the door. " Good thing the Conqueror of Demons and I are both as swift as the wind. And woosh! We made it just in time! " The girl smiled, as the boy who once hid at the doorway stepped inside.
A floating white - haired companion looked shocked, so did a golden - haired girl, and another girl with H/C hair. The boy also looked shocked to see them three. The male with brown hair fading into orange, with a suit looked slightly shocked, but not entirely.
" I see.. so the important guest is the Conqueror of Demons. I've been looking forward to meeting you. " The boy with brown hair faded into orange stands up from his seat, looking at the boy with dark teal hair.

" Aiya.. that's all I remember.. " She sighed. " It will all come back sooner or later! " Venti suddenly rose from his sitting position, smiling. " Venti, why don't don't go next? " Xingqiu offered.
" Ah! Alright, let me explain. " Venti cleared his throat.

As " Old Mondstadt " bursted into flames, a boy with braids in his hair, and a Lyre in hand leaded everyone. A small creature followed with. Many other people did the same, and tried their best to help.
By this time, many gods fell from their once high throne, to the depths of nothingness. A bright light clouded everyone's visions, and soon, it was over. The boy who was once standing proud with a Lyre in hand, had now fallen too to their demise. Arrows were in deep in the boy's chest, as a red haired male helped.
The small creature saw it all, feeling sorrow for the way it happened.
Soon, the small creature took the form of the boy, now, it's unpredictable what will happen next. Only the song of the boy was left in the small creatures heart.
" Fly, fly away. Like a bird in the sky. See the world on my behalf... "
" To the heavens may you fly. "

The golden - haired girl walks through a forest, along with a floating, white - haired companion. " Huh? Look at that! " The floating companion points to something. The golden - haired girl followed.
The both of them hide behind a tree, a dragon, and a mysterious boy seemingly talking to it. The golden - haired girl peeked, while the dragon roared ever so quietly. The girl's eyes widened.
" Don't be afraid. " The boy with braids holds out both hands to the dragon. " .. it's alright now, I'm back. " The golden - haired girl's gem in the middle of her chest had a soft glow of blue. " Is he talking to a dragon? " The small girl held a finger to her chin.
Suddenly, the golden - haired girl's gem began pulsing, making noises, and particles everywhere. The dragon must've noticed that, as the dragon roared loudly. It roared at the boy, before flying away quickly.
The boy tried to catch the Dragon, but failed and landed back onto the ground. " Who's there!? " The boy looked at the source of the distraction with a glare. The boy suddenly began walking backwards, dissapearing into nothing but wind. The girl's eyes were mesmerized by what the boy did, and how he looked. Suddenly the dragon fly back, down. Turns out, it didn't fly to far, or to high.
The dragon roared at the two, before flying off. The two looked confused, before a small red crystal appeared on the small mountain in front of them.

Both the golden - haired girl, and the boy with braids sit beside eachother, windblume's flying everywhere. " Happy Windblume, Venti. " The girl smiled, while her once floating traveling companion had fallen asleep.
" You too, my little Windblume. " The boy replied lovingly. The two share a quick kiss, pulling away seconds later. The both cup eachothers cheeks, looking at eachother.
" Will this stay the same forever? " The girl asked, holding her significant other's hand. " No, that's not possible. But, these moments will always live on in our hearts, even if we are reborn, over and over again. " The boy replies.

" Aww, it's like you two are fated to be together forever! " I smile. Both Lumine and Venti stare at eachother, flustered. The rest of us just smirked suspiciously, while Xiao just stared at everyones sudden expression. Xiao still had his headphones which I gave him on his neck, how cute!
" It's crazy how both Venti and Lumine are like.. God's and World Traveler's and such! You two, well, past life you two were powerful! Like?? " I said, jumping from one conclusion to another. Xiao just looked at me, the smallest smile appearing on his face. Nobody else even noticed it, only me.
" Hey, Lumine~! " Hu Tao continues, scooting closer to Lumine and Venti. " Why don't you say what you've remembered now? " She asked. She paused for a moment, still extremely flustered at the situation that had just occurred.
" Sure, though there's a lot, so I'll try to summarize it as much as possible. " Lumine cleared her throat.

" LUMINE!? " A golden - haired boy fought his way through the panicked crowd. " AETHER, OVER HERE! " A golden - haired girl replied. The two quickly find eachother, and hold eachothers hands, so that they wouldn't lose eachother.
" Mother told us to flee to another world, we need to find another home. " The boy continued. " The stars are.. I don't even know. " The two siblings push their way through the crowd, soon finding a sort of empty place to continue.
People continued panicking, as many buildings and even people turned into ashes into but a second. The ground was breaking apart, luckily, both the boy, and girl were able to avoid them all.
" I.. don't want to leave.. " The girl cried out, tears flooding her eyesight. " Lumine, it's alright. We'll stick together, and find a new home for us together. " The boy comforts the girl. Both of them finally stop running.
" Alright, we can do this.. " The girl wipes her tears away, while both siblings drew out their weapons. Soon, a portal was created. Both siblings stepped inside, the portal vanishing without a trace soon after.
The two found themselves on a ongoing bridge. " So.. this is how you travel world to.. world? " The girl asks. " Yeah, though.. " The boy continues. " It's a little hard. " He scratches his head.
" This place is so.. high up I assume.. " The girl looks around.
" Lumine, I hope we never fall, and drift apart. "
" I hope we don't, either. "

Both siblings walk on a platform, slightly tired about how many worlds both have been through already, and not finding somewhere that both of them could call home.
They already have tried Teyvat, but Aether declared the world unsafe for the both of them to call it home.
Suddenly, a red glow appears on their path. A woman suddenly steps out, stepping on invisible stairs. " Outlanders, your journey ends here. " The woman coldly declares. Her white hair flows in the nonexistent wind, while both siblings steps back a little.
" Who're you!? " The girl steps up, asking. The woman has a calm expression painted on her face. " The sustainer of the heavenly principles. " She continues. " The arrogation of mankind ends now. " The woman made a small cube in her hand, it turning red.
A huge cube suddenly appears under both siblings, both jump to the side, and into the sky. The girl's wings appear on her back, her weapon also appearing into her hand. The boy does the same, both siblings on opposite sides on the woman.
Both of them fly toward the woman, while she raised a hand, sending thousands of red cubes towards the two. It chases the two, but they fly through the small spaces to avoid it. The cubes continue to chase the two, as the two circled pillars and flew around.
Suddenly, both of them charge toward the woman, creating a massive explosion. Suddenly, the woman was about to trap the girl, but she quickly flew back, her weapon getting sacrificed.
The red cubes suddenly grip the boy, the boy looks at the girl. " Aether! " A worried look was painted onto the girl's face, as she held out a hand to the boy. The boy suddenly got engulfed in red cubes, soon being dissolved into it itself.
The cubes come back into the woman's hand, while the woman admired the cube the boy was trapped in. The girl quickly flew behind the woman, and sent a attack using her hand to the woman.
She hit the woman, another huge explosion happening. The girl panting, suddenly, a red cubes began forming on her hands. Suddenly, she was also engulfed in the cubes.
" Wait! Don't go! "
" Give my brother back! "
Now, darkness was everywhere, it trapped the girl.

The girl ran, and ran. Trying to chase after the boy, the girl's brother. " Aether! Don't leave me again.. please.. " The girl began panting. " Whyd that stupid God have to.. take my powers.. away..? " The girl began to sob.
Suddenly, it all went away.
Light creeped through the girl's eyes. " Was that.. all a nightmare? " The girl asks herself. " It feels like it's been.. "
" 500 years? "

" After that.. I guess I was forced to travel throughout Teyvat. I can't exactly remember much, but yeah. " She chuckled a little, seeing how awkward it was. " Lumine, I feel bad for your past life, so much happened in your past life, it just feels horrible.. " I comment.
" Yeah.. I still can't believe I could do all of that back in my past life, though. " Lumine scratched her head.
" Hey, why don't you two go now? " Chongyun asked. " Me and Xiao? " I ask. He nods, while I took in a deep breath.

I know this doesn't really make sense since this is a modern AU, but I wanted them to mention their like original world, time and yknow..
this was super fun to write, but it took forever since I had to research some stuff about characters backstories and such. I even used one of my favorite theories for it
