A/N: Hey guys! I'm sick today :( so I'm gonna finish this chapter!

Also I have my chorus exam tomorrow 😬

Just to let y'all know, whenever Mitch talks and his stutter or something isn't indicated, it means that he is still talking very slow and slurred.

I love youuuuu.

*Mitch's POV*

Did he just say...

Children?

"Kids?" I say and look at him.

"Yeah, you know, like, adoption." He says.

"I-I mean... yeah..." I respond.

"I mean, if you're not comfortable yet it's totally fine and I was just putting it out there and-"

I press a finger to his lips. "I want kids."

"Really? Are you sure?"

"Yes. We... have a-a big house now."

"But what about... this?" He motions to his legs.

"It's okay. We can tell them... what happened, and teach them how to sign." I say.

"You may not need to sign for much longer." Scott says and I nod.

We pull into our driveway and I groan. "So much... stuff."

"I know, we'd better get started." Scott says.

I get his wheelchair out of the back and take him inside.

"Should we start in the kitchen?" He asks.

I nod. "I'll do... this side."

"Okay. I'll start on the lower cabinets and countertops." Scott says and I hand him a box.

We get the kitchen finished and decide to do everything else later.

I sit on the couch and motion for Scott to come over.

He comes over and I set him on the couch.

"So... kids?" I ask.

He makes a cute thinking face. "Yeah. I think it would be good, you know, for us."

"Me too."

"We need to tell the others about it. And it's expensive. Let's not just jump into this. We need time."

I nod.

"We have rehearsal today." Scott says and sighs.

I turn on the TV. "Tour is in... two weeks."

"I'm kind of nervous. You know with the wheelchair and all." Scott says solemnly.

"It will work out."

Scott groans.

"What?"

"I have to pee."

"Oh no... Scott Hoying... a human... has to pee." I say.

"Help?" He says and I grab his chair.

I lift him into it and he goes into the bathroom.

We made the toilet and everything in the house wheelchair accessible.

"Got it?" I say and make sure that he doesn't hurt himself.

"I'll call you in here if I need anything." He says.

I walk out and wait outside of the door just to make sure that he's okay.

About a minute later he calls me back in.

"Can you...?"

"Got it." I say and help him pull up his pants to get back into his chair.

"Thank you. So... since today is free, do you wanna film a music thing or something?" Scott asks.

I nod. "Superfruit?"

"Yeah... but a music thing. We can set up our music room."

We made sure to find a house that has some extra rooms so that we can have a music room.

Or kids.

"Furniture is already there." I say.

"Let's just set up the mics and piano." He says and I grab a box.

We bought an electric piano and some mics so that we can record in our own house.

Scott gets out some electrical equipment and turns to me.

"Do you know how any of this works?"

"Uh..."

He sighs. "This is hard. Let's just call Kirst and see if she can help."

I nod and walk back into the living room.

I pull out my laptop and go on an orphanage website.

I read about the orphanage and about the kids that live there.

I hear Scott hang up the phone. "She'll be over in a few."

He comes over to me. "Whatcha doin'?"

I turn the screen towards him as he lifts himself onto the couch.

"Good job. And an or... orphanage."

He reads the information.

"Are you really into this? Like getting a kid?"

"One hundred percent." I say.

He takes the computer from me and I pout.

"I'm older." He says and looks over some information about the children.

"This is a big step." He says.

"I know..."

The door opens. "Hey guys!" Kirstie yells.

"Hey!" Scott says, quickly closing the laptop.

Kirstie sits on the couch. "What's up?"

I push the laptop over. "Nothing."

She raises an eyebrow. "Suuure. Okay, do you guys have all of the stuff?"

"Yep." I say and lead her to the music room.

Scott pushes open the door and points to some equipment.

"We don't know how to set up the recording thing."

"Really, guys? You just do this." She says and shows us how to connect all of the wires and... stuff.

"Thanks Kirst." I say.

"You're welcome. Do you already have all of your furniture out and your TVs?" She asks.

"Yep!" Scott says.

"Okay. Well I have to take Olaf to the vet. Love you guys!"

"Love you too!" We say.

When she walks out I bring Scott back over to the couch.

"So about before..." He says and opens the computer.

"Boy or girl?" I ask.

"I don't know. What do you think?" Scott says, biting his lip.

"Doesn't matter... girl, I guess." I say.

Scott types the address on his phone. "So we're doing this?"

"Maybe..." I say and he nods.

"Let's wait until after tour."

"Long time..." I say.

Scott bites his lip again.

That's hot.

"I know it's a long time... but I don't know how I feel about adopting a child... and then bringing them on a tour." Scott says.

I nod. "Me too. And disabilities..."

Scott sighs. "Yeah... I'm gonna take a shower."

"Need help?" I ask.

He shakes his head. "I got it."

My eyes follow him as he scoots off the edge of the couch into his chair by himself.

I watch him as he goes into the bathroom.

I wait until he goes into the bathroom and wait outside the door.

I hear the water go on and the shower door open.

I squeeze my eyes shut, praying that he'll get in safe.

I hear grunting and sigh, but finally hear him start to wash his hair.

I sigh and walk away.

I write a note and leave it on the kitchen counter before grabbing my keys and walking out.

I drive to the familiar coffee place and order a strong coffee-

Since I can't have alcohol.

Scott makes sure that I don't drink, as I'm not of age.

I drink a few coffees and feel very hyper.

I go to get something for Scott-

I have to get everything for Scott.

He can't do anything for himself.

I get his normal coffee and head home.

As I'm driving I get a strange feeling in my stomach.

Panic.

I drive faster and reach the house in three minutes.

I run up the sidewalk and slam the door open.

"Scott?"
