AFTER MAGNOLIA APPARRATED away with Sirius and Remus - Harry almost went completely limp. James and Peter were still in surprise from the few seconds ago occurrence.
Harry grew completely silent before plopping down on the dirty floor, leaning his back against the alley stone wall. With tears still pooling in his eyes, he rested his head against the wall with a groan.
"What was I thinking?" He whispers, leaning his head forward, putting them in his hands as he curses himself. James and Peter glanced at one another before stepping forward to Harry.
"You don't want to lose her, we get it," James told him as Peter bent down and grabbed Magnolia's engagement ring from the floor. As James sits on his right, Peter sits on his left while cleaning the gunk off the ring with his sweater.
"It's just not fair to you guys-"
"You don't need to worry about us though-" Peter tries saying but is cut off when Harry shakes his head.
"I-I just... Magnolia is the only family I have... And I'm so... So terrified of losing her" James absorbs Harry's features and facial expressions with a small smile tugging on his lips.
"And there's no turning back now anyways! I mean, time-turners don't work that way. We can't change what's already been changed... As soon as we got here and as soon as my bloody mouth opened in front of you guys - Our future had already diminished... Gone and forever, for good. It's all gonna be different. And me and Maggie aren't even gonna realize it because our lives have already restarted - you guys are gonna probably remember this for the rest of your lives but me and Mags... As soon as we leave, it's like we're gonna be reborn and this version of ourselves never existed,"
"That doesn't mean you give up," Peter mutters, making James and Harry look at him instinctively.
"You and Magnolia are meant for each other... And I know it - and I don't know a lot of things" He says with a laugh echoing from the other two.
"What you and Maggie have... It's special and I know you guys are gonna find each other again, I guarantee it" He finishes, grabbing Harry's hand and opening it up so his palm is out. Peter slowly placed the pretty ring on Harry's hand, while he stared at it before closing his fist around it.
"I've lost a lot of loved ones in my life, and she's the only thing I've always had... And I plan to never let that go" Harry whispers, a small sad smile curling on his face.
"We'll help out, you know? We're gonna be there the whole time trying to force you two to get together" James practically demands, making Harry let out a laugh as he shakes his head.
"Are you... Are you guys mad about what I said earlier?" Harry asks, making the two raise their eyebrows.
"What do you mean? About you not wanting to change? Of course not. Why would we?" James says with a laugh, making Harry furrow his eyebrows.
"It's okay to be selfish," Peter says with a small chuckle, patting Harry on the shoulder. Harry looks at him surprised and James with a small grin.
"But Maggie -"
"She still hasn't let go of the past, Harry. I think around this time - it's hitting her harder than ever before and soon she'll understand that it's okay to let things go...."
"You got to understand she had her dad for most of her life and then she loses him and all those memories with him - it's going to be harder for her to let this huge opportunity go than it is for you. She got to have a life with Remus and you didn't get a life with me and Lily..." James whispers, forcing a reassuring smile on his face.
"And I promise you, she'll get there. Just give her some time that it's gonna be okay." James adds encouragingly, making Harry sadly smile and nod before he suddenly zones out on thought.
The zoning out suddenly shifted something in Harry's head. Like a sudden light bulb went off or something in his brain finally figured out the one thing that's been bugging him this whole time...
"Wait..." He whispers, making both Peter's and James's laughter come to a halt.
"What's wrong?" James asks, watching as Harry's eyes grow and eyebrows furrow.
"I-I know who did it."
"Who did, what?" Peter asks with a raised eyebrow as Harry jumps up from the ground, making the two quickly follow.
"That sent that box! With the time turner in our time! I know who did it..." He quickly began walking hastily, out of the alleyway. The two marauders quickly tried to question Harry, who was preoccupied with his thoughts as he walked between several people. While he accidentally shoved people away - Peter was quickly awkwardly apologizing to the stranger or student. James on the other hand was trying to question Harry on what he was talking about to get his son out of his busy thinking mind, also keeping an eye on Peter so he can make sure the rat doesn't lose the two Potters.
"This makes sense - This is why he's trying to keep us here longer and wasn't suspicious alongside Minnie-"
"Woah, Minnie is the one who sent it? How is that even possible, this is the past-"
"No, not this time Professor McGonagall, possibly in my time-"
"But didn't you say all the time turners are destroyed in your time? How would she get one - especially one that can go back twenty-four years?" Peter asks, somewhat a little out of breath as James grabs the back of Harry's sweater to stop him.
"That part - no bloody idea!" Harry exclaims, mostly to himself as he begins messing up his hair terribly by running his hand through his hair viciously.
"For one, calm yourself," James says, hitting the back of Harry's back, making him let out a loud surprised yelp.
"Now I see the Evans genes in you" He adds, motioning towards his deep thinking, talking to himself, and anxiously fast talking.
"You kind of have a red tint to your hair when the sun hits it too" Peter adds, squinting his eyes as he looks up to see the sun out from underneath the clouds.
"We need to go and find Mags-"
"Oh sorry!" A girl exclaims, accidentally shoving Harry to the side since she wasn't watching where she was going.
"It's okay" Harry reassures her, flashing her a smile as she squints her eyes at him.
"Potter?" The girl asks, tilting her head to the side as James chuckles and shows himself from behind Harry.
"Well that's awkward, I didn't know Potter had a brother"
"Dorcas, this is Harry Granger - he's new this year from Ilvermorny. Harry, this is Dorcas Meadows" They gave each other a small smile before they saw Lily Evans and Marlene Mckinnon run up to them.
"Oh hey, you guys!" Lily cheers, a smile plastered on her face as James cheeks heated at the view of her.
"Hey, aren't there like three of you missing? Maggie, Sirius, and Remus?" Marlene asks, eyeing the other three as they act to shrug.
"She wasn't feeling as well, so they took her back to the dorms" James quickly states.
"Aw dang, she's been sick a lot lately - I wanted to introduce her to Dorcas, who is also my beautiful ex-girlfriend... We're broken up right now because someone doesn't like my loud chewing-"
"You're lucky because usually, I would rather go to Azkaban than hear a loud chewer" Dorcas replies as Marlene smiles triumphantly.
"Lucky, am I right? So lucky that my girlfriend loves me-" Harry watched the couple bicker back and forth with each other, just as James and Peter were too. Lily saw this with a small laugh, watching their eyes go back and forth.
"You two go, find a table at Broomsticks - I'll be right there" Lily orders, making the two begin to walk to the restaurant but their bickering never falters.
"Sorry about them, sometimes they're a lot when together," She says with a laugh, making Harry crack a smile and shrug.
"It's fine, I mean I've been hanging out with James and Sirius, so that's pretty explanatory"
"Yeah, those two even in the same sentence is a bit much," She says, making them laugh alongside Peter as James looks at them with raised eyebrows.
"You know I'm right here, right?"
"Oh that's why we're just addressing it, Potter" Harry sassed back, making Lily look at him surprised with a laugh as James smirked with a scoff.
"The king of sass has just been sassed" Peter whispers.
"But we do have something important to get to-"
"Oh yeah sorry - everything okay?" She asks, looking at James who was playing with a loose curl dangling on his forehead.
"Oh yeah definitely-" That's when she notices Peter going a little nervous and he begins scratching his jaw. Lily's known the boys forever, so she almost knows every time they are lying.
"Just got to check on, Mags," Harry says, suddenly sending his hand up to play with his messy hair. Lily eyes them and slowly nods. The three boys sent her a smile and quickly dashed off - of course not before James sent a wink her way.
She knew they were lying, it was too obvious not to notice. And now she knows what's gonna be stuck in her head for the rest of the day now... What is it that they're hiding?
"Okay..." She whispered to herself before watching the boys retreat to the castle. Then, she turns around and walks to the Three Broomsticks, where Dorcas and Marlene are probably still bickering, waiting the redhead.

"Let's get something to eat - I'm sure Moony over here is starving since the full moon is any day now" Sirius suggests, making Remus send him a tight smile as Maggie chuckles.
Sirius had his arm locked with Magnolia's, practically happily skipping down the hall with an exhausted Remus beside the two. After Magnolia's panic attack, they talked for a little while - reassuring her that between her and Harry, everything will be okay for them in the future and she doesn't have to keep worrying so much. They even promised to one another, they'll make sure to have the two meet and hopelessly fall in love like they are now if everything goes well for them in the future.
"I could go for some buttered toast!" Maggie cheers, a bright smile plastered across her face as Sirius mirrors it.
Sirius was so happy he was getting to bond with the little Lupin. It now disgusts him that he tried getting with her before knowing who she was. So he's trying to redeem himself by practically forcing a friendship-tight bond with her. She was a little more quiet than usual, even Remus was talking a little more than her. But that was no surprise after the things that just happened.
"Of course you are! Anything for my favorite daughter-"
"Your daughter?" Remus asks with a smirk and raised eyebrow.
"Of course, she's my daughter - not blood-related, of course, but Harry's my godson, so it's only fair I'm just another father figure to Ms. Magnolia. Case closed" Sirius declares, making Remus roll his eyes with a smirk. Magnolia eyes the two before smiling to herself to see the faint blush across her father's cheeks but that smile quickly was wiped as she let out a shakey breath.
"I need to go to the bathroom real quick-" Remus's statement made the two stop and nod.
"Okie" Magnolia mutters as she and Sirius lean on the wall beside the bathroom.
"You guys can go though, I'll meet you in the Great Hall."
"No, it's fine, we'll just wait," Sirius says for her, making the werewolf shrug and go on with his business in the male restroom.
"So tell me about your mum," Sirius asks, making Maggie's eyebrows shoot up and a small laugh escapes her throat.
"I've never met her... She brought me to Remus's flat with just a note and left" He furrows his eyebrows as she quickly shakes her head.
"Not like that - I know she loved me and it was hard for her to leave me but during that time, her family line was a big target to the death eaters and she thought it was only time till the death eaters got to her, so... Yeah." She said in a quick breath, making his lips form into an 'o'.
"Oh... Well, I'm sorry-" He says awkwardly with a cringe, making her chuckle.
"It's okay, I sometimes wonder what it'd be like if she were still alive but... When I think about it, it won't change anything." He gives her a sad smile, interlocking her hand with his. She reaches his eyes and gives him a soft smile.
"Well, well, well... If it isn't the blood traitor and Veela freak" Sirius groans while rolling his eyes as Magnolia quickly furrows her eyebrows and they both turn around. Coming face to face with Mulciber, Narcissa, Lucius, Severus, and some other Slytherin that Maggie didn't recognize.
"Hello Cissa" Sirius remarks, giving her a petty wave as she rolls her eyes and shifts her gaze away from them.
"Of course your friends with him, twats like you guys usually hang out with each other" Lucius says, a smug smirk across his face as Magnolia rolls her eyes, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Did you hear that? Or is this blonde ferret speaking to me?" Maggie asks, glancing at Sirius and then landing her blue eyes back on Lucius daringly.
"Well, you weren't kidding when you said she had a mouth on her" The random Slytherin mentioned, making Magnolia eye him with a raised eyebrow questioningly.
"That's Percival Parkinson, he's a seventh-year and betrothed to Amaryllis Fawley-"
"Pansy's parents?!" She asks quietly, whipping her head towards Sirius who gives her a confused look. She shakes her head as a nevermind and turns back towards the group of Slytherin's.
"Tell me, Sirius - where's the rest of your circus?" Severus asks, making Sirius roll his eyes.
"Like you'd want to know, Snivellus, how's getting Lily back to be your friend? I'm sure that's going perfectly well" Sirius states with a smirk, making the dark-haired boy scoff.
"He never even liked that mud blood-"
"Merlin, shut up! I wear heels bigger than your dick!" Magnolia snaps, clearly annoyed with their stupid interaction with them. "You should never call someone that. It's giving small dick energy."
"Oh, a mudblood? Oh, why not, freak? Don't tell me your one too." Mulciber snarls, making Sirius and Magnolia's blue eyes glare hard at him. This guy was stupid because she's known to be a Veela... But either way, they still glared at his stupidity and cruelty.
Her hands tighten in a fist around the wand in her pocket. Lucius smirks, knowing they are ticking her off, and right before she grabs her wand out of her pocket -
"I wouldn't even try, Magnolia - that's your name, isn't it?" Lucius asks with a sudden smirk, the point of his wand pressed against her neck. Her breath hitched and her glare hardened, her hand dropping her wand back into her pocket.
"Don't you dare, Malfoy" Sirius threatens, cursing to himself for not having his wand as Percival and Mulciber held him in his spot against the wall, so he couldn't help Maggie. Her head was tilted up towards the ceiling, her neck exposed with Lucius's wand threateningly on her neck.
"Oh, I wouldn't hurt her too badly... Just a small Crucio spell wouldn't hurt... You, Sirius, of course, would know, right?" He asks smugly, an evil smirk spread across his face as Narcissa stands behind him a little nervous.
"Lucius, don't do this here on school grounds-"
"Not right now, Narcissa - we're just showing Ms. Taurus some lessons, am I right boys?" He asks with a chuckle, making the boys laugh as Sirius tries slamming out of their grip on him. But that only stops as he's slammed to the wall with a wand pressed to his neck by Mulciber.
"Stop making this difficult, Black - She will just get it quick and easy, no need to worry" Magnolia looked at Sirius with worry and growled her eyes turning dark.
"Leave Sirius alone" She mutters, her heart picking up as Lucius laughs and she glances at Severus pleadingly - hoping he possibly has at least some good in this time to help her out. But he only looks away, ignoring her gaze.
"No can do, Ms. Taurus" She huffed and glanced at Sirius, who was struggling as his eyes met hers. Like they had the same thought, they both nodded before turning towards the Slytherins in front of them.
"Okay... That's fine" She whispers, making Lucius suddenly furrow his eyebrows.
"What?" He asks in disbelief before suddenly yelping as Magnolia twists his wrist and grabs his wand quickly. Narcissa and Severus stand there as Percival jumps back surprised. In an act of surprise, Mulciber got distracted, allowing Sirius to twist Mulciber's wrist and swap their positions, flipping his wand onto Mulciber's neck.
"Ow - you bitch - AH!" Lucius shouts as Magnolia's fist comes into contact with his nose. Using his wand threateningly towards Malfoy.
"Don't ever threaten me or any others like that ever again" She threatens as Lucius glares at her with a bloody nose.
"Whoa - Do you even know who you're talking to-"
"Step the fuck away from her-"
