Ash sat stiffly in front of Madam Joanne. She was scanning many papers and Ash could only assume it was the contract.
"Everything looks good to me but I would prefer that you scan through the contract and ask me any questions," Madam Joanne said before handing over the papers.
Ash took the stack of papers from her and read through the ages.
Period of Employment
The employee must complete a one-month training period followed by a three-month probationary period. The employee will only be offered a one-year contract which may or may not be renewed annually depending on the employer's evaluation.
Shit. I can't afford to fuck this up. I don't have another plan if I fail the probationary period. Ash thought to himself.
Duties and Responsibilities
The employee must perform the following duties in order to fulfill the Master's needs:
Master? Ash thought. He wanted to question it but shut his mouth for now.
I. The head of the Montgomery Household must always be addressed as Master unless the Master says otherwise.
II. The employee will be the Master's personal servant, attending to his every need.
a. Master's clothes must be prepared and ironed the night before.
b. Master must be woken up at exactly five am in the morning, except for weekends.
c. Master must be served a breakfast of waffles and berries with a cup of tea.
1. There must be three waffles served on his plate with a slice of butter on top, no syrup, perfectly cooked on both sides.
2. No berries must be served twice in a row. If blueberries are served on Monday, they must never be served on Tuesday.
Fucking hell this is just the first page. Does this man have a stick up his ass? Ash scoffed in his head but kept his face neutral.
3. Master must only be served Earl Grey in the morning with his breakfast.
Note: Follow the instructions or there will be repercussions.
Ash read through even more instructions and it contained mostly housework duties, such as cleaning the Master's room every day, doing the laundry, cooking his meals, and sending him food at his office, etc. Ash flipped the page and he froe in his seat as he read through the words printed on the page.
VI. Employee must take care of the Master's sexual needs.
a. If the Master needed his sexual needs fulfilled, the employee must be the one to offer relief.
b. The Master's sexual needs must be fulfilled at least twice a week.
"Madam Joanne?" ASh called out.
"Yes, dear?" she replied.
"Am I reading this right?" Ash asked, pointing to the page where the said needs are stated.
"Oh yes, dear. Don't worry, the Master always returns the favor," Madam Joanne said with a wink but it only sent an unsettling feeling down his stomach. "You won't be serving the Master during your training period and no you won't be practicing having sex or giving blowjobs," JOanne chuckled. "If you're not comfortable with doing sexual favors, I'm afraid you cannot have this job but I can guarantee that the Master would like you."
None of Joanne's words made Ash feel better but he needed his job so he kept his mouth shut and kept reading the contract. Ash was glad to have found no more ridiculous duties on his contract so he grabbed the pen from the table and signed it.
Fuck. I hope the master is not some wrinkly old bastard. The thought itself made Ash shiver.
Ash flipped the papers and found another contract. A non-disclosure agreement. Everything that happens in the house or during his employment should not be shared with anyone or he could get sued. Ash sighed and scanned through the contract before signing it. Joanne checked all the places that Ash needed to smile before gracing a satisfied smile.
"Congratulations, Ash. You are now part of the Montgomery Household. Do you prefer any other name?" Joanne asked.
"No, I'm good with Ash," he replied.
"The Master would be delighted that you let him call you by your name. Sir Edford will be introducing you to the rest of the staff and then he'll show you your room," Madam JOanne said. "I'll be going now, so have fun on your first day."
Ash nodded and sir Edfor motioned for him to follow. He was led to the left wing of the mansion where the staff are staying. Ash almost jumped in surprise when they turned the hallway and saw all the staff waiting for him. He quickly spotted a women wearing a chef's uniform and he wondered why he was the one assigned to take of the Master's breakfast if they had a chef.
"Here are the staff of the Montgomery Household. We have Aliana and Evelyn here, our housemaids, Arden, our gardener, Kaleb and Lander, our drivers, Mariana, our head chef, and Sussanne her sous chef," Sir Edford said, introducing everyone.
"Hi," Ash awkwardly greeted, making Sir Edford chuckle.
ASh felt a faint blush color his cheeks and the women cooed over him, causing him to get flustered even more. Everyone introduced themselves personally to Ash and he was surprised to feel to warm and welcome in the home.
"May I ask a question?" Ash asked Sir Edford.
"What is it, son?"
"Why do I have to cook for the Master if you guys have two chefs?" he asked.
"Oh dear," Sir Edford chuckled. "The chefs are for the staff," was all Sir Edford said before pulling him away from the others and leading him to his room. "I'll be sending you to your room now so you can rest."
Ash was disappointed with the lack of answer but nodded anyway and followed Sir Edford.
"Your room will be next to the Master-"
"What?!" Ash exclaimed in disbelief.
"The Master needs you to be accessible at all times. Even during the ungodly hours of the night."
"Why?"
Ash was met with silence so he decided to no longer question it and probably just find out for himself. Sir Edford opened the door next to a set of double doors at the end of the hall. Seeing the double doors made out of dark oak sent shivers down his spine.
"We've provided your clothing and other necessities. Don't be shy to let us know if they do not fit you or if you do not like the toiletries provided. There's also a new phone and laptop provided for you on your bed," Sir Edford said.
"What? Isn't that too excessive?" Ash asked. "I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but I've barely started."
"Well, all you need to know is that the Master is a very generous man," Sir Edord said with a smile before closing the door and leaving Ash in his room.
Ash sighed and dropped his bag down on the floor. He was more than grateful to have a roof over his head during this time but he still feels as if he was in the dark. Ash has no idea what this job would entail and how much dignity he has to give up. The reality of his situation suddenly dawned on him.
Out of his desperation, he decided to be someone's personal toy. Just the thought of having to have sex with an old wrinkly man sent shivers down his spine, and not in a pleasant way. Might as well make the best of it. Ash decided to have a shower. He hasn't had a decent one in quite a long time. Ash walked into the en suite bathroom, too tired to even care, and took a long steamy shower.
Ash was lost in thought, his mind trying to grasp what went wrong in his life that led him to this. Ash sighed and turned off the shower. He dried himself off and wrapped a towel around his waist. The closet greeted him with more clothes than he ever had in his entire life but he had no energy left to even admire them so he grabbed whichever comfortable shirt and sweatpants he could grab before getting dressed.
Ash decided that he would deal with his thoughts once he was well-rested. For now, he'll enjoy the luxuries the job has to offer.
