The grandma comes to their table with some files gives to Karishma....she takes and looks at it.. trying to understand why her mother gave the important files to them....the grandmother and Haseena just watches her tensed face....the grandmother keeps a hand on her head....Karishma looks at her...
"tu chinta mat kar sab thik ho jaayega....baas uss wqt dhyaan se rakne keliye diya tha...par ab kyu maang rahi ye tho nahi pata but jo bhi hoga thik hi hoga.."
Karishma nods her head ....she goes from there and gets busy with the customer...Haseena keeps her hand on hers....Karishma tighten her grip...
"pata nahi sab thik kaise hoga....aise lag raha hai ki duniya hum hi hai j aise zindgai jee raha hai...."says Karishma..
"just keep hoping....pehale sab kuch muskil hi hotha hai but once we get used to it everything will be under control...."assures Haseena..
Then hear the sound of someone calling Haseena behind...they both turns around....Haseena gets little tensed seeing that person and gives him weak smile.. Karishma noticed this strange behaviour....Haseena gets up and goes to that person to greet...the grandmother to joins...she too seems to be unhappy seeing that person..
Karishma gets curious and moves towards them in order to hear the conversation....she stands beside Haseena...that person sees Karishma with confused face...
"ye Karishma hai Haseena ki dost hai....mai baathaya tha na...yaad hai...Manipal..."says The Grandma..
"haan yaad hai..." says Manipal...then turn his face to her... "I am sorry beta.... but tum himmat mat haarna thik ho jaayge.. hum sab hai yaha par...." Karishma nods her head....
"Haseena maine kuch bread aur pastries pack kiya hai Karishma aur uski maa keliye..kya tum unko de aavoge....unhee accha lagega..."the grandmother tells while rising her eyebrow...
Haseena understood and speaks... "ji dadi..hum Kirshu ke saath jaathe hai..."without wasting any more minute she walks to the counter and brings the basket....then holds Karishma and drags from there..
Karishma follows Haseena with confused face ..she didn't understand what the hell just happened.. why Haseena is acting wired... she had never seen her like this before..
While walking she stops and makes Haseena to turn towards her.....Haseena takes a deep breath...
"Haseena sab thik tho haina...aur vo koun hai jise dekha kar aap thoda tensed hogayi..."asked Karishma with curiosity...
"vo humare chachaji hai..kabhi kabhi Café aathe hai....aur kuch nahi..."says Haseena without looking at her...
That made Karishma more curious and thought to ask about it to someone.....she knows Haseena behaviour very well but seeing her like this making her worry more...
She knows her best friend all life.... she never gets tensed unless it's something else or bothers her.... they didn't talk much just walks by... on the way they meet some people and they ask about their well-being...
Some ask weird questions for which Karishma couldn't answers them.. Haseena takes from there and tell them to let her be as she needs time to adjust this life.. Karishma really feels grateful of her....happy that she has someone at this time who is supporting her...
"Haseena humesha se humara khayal rak thi hai..hume kuch ho jaaye tho pure ghar ko sar par le lathi hai...accha lagtha hai unhee pareshan karne me..but bura bhi lagtha hai.....koi bhi life me muskil ho hum humesha se apni Hasu ke paas chale jaathe hai ye soch kar ki unke paas haar question ka solution hai....bina bole hi unhee pata chal jaatha hai ki humare maan me kya chal raha hai but pata nahi kyu ab thoda alag lag raha hai as if we have become strangers to another...aise lag raha hai ki jo humare beech tha shyd kahi kho gaaya ho.....chod kar kya chale gaaye hume tho abhi kuch bhi nahi pata ki unn saalo me Haseena ke life me kya huva...humne bahut hi koshish ki tho unse baat karne ki contact me rahne ki but situation hi aise ho gaayi ki hume sab kuch khona paada....jab hum yaha vaapas aa raha the tab humare maan shaant nahi tha...kyuki sawal bhi humare maan me inthna the ki ek aur sawal aane laga ki aagar Hasu se mile tho kya vo humse baat karegi....aagar unhone ignore kiya tho kya hoga....kya humare dosti tut jaayegi....but ab vo dar nahi hai lekin fir bhi samjh nahi aa raha hai"
"Kirshu..."
Karishma comes out of her thoughts and turns her face to her...Haseena smiles and ask what happened....
"kya Kirshu...kaha kho gaayi..."
"kuch nahi...baas aise hi..."Karishma smiles..
They reach the Karishma house and Haseena gives her food pack...
"aap bhi chaliye na....maa ko accha lagega..."
"nahi vo hume bahut kaam hai aaj...bahut saari deliveries karni hai...."
"apke staff tho honge na.."
"haan hai..but aaj unn logo ki chutti hai..tho isliye hume jaana hoga..aap aaram kijiye...miltha hai....bye..."says Haseena and walks from there...Karishma just watches her go then she enters the house..
Karishma gives the papers to Suhani...Suhani starts to read the papers carefully ...Karishma observers her very closely and also looks around the table to see more papers....as if her mother was working on this or trying to find something in it...
"maa ye papers apne dadi ko kyu diya the....vo bhi bahut saal pehale..."
Suhani removes her reading glass... "well jabse humare ghar me problems shuru huva tho mujhe laga ki kuch tho galath hone waala hai fir bhi mai positive hi thi ki tumare papa sab kuch thik kar denge...lekin jaise problems baadha gaaye humare haath se sab kuch jaane laga yaha taki humare vo ghar bhi...tumhe tho pata hi hai ki tumare papa ne kya nahi kiya...jo bhi paise the usse sab kuch kahatm kar diya..aur bacha tha ye ghar..mujhe dar lagne laga ki kahi ye ghar bhi humse chala na jaaye isliye maine hi Haseena ki Dadi ko bol diya ki ye papers unke paas rake taki tumare papa ko ye na mile..."
"matlab apne ye sab jaan buj kar diya..."ask Karishma with wide eyes...
"I have no choice but do to that....unhone apne business ke chakkar me kuch nahi choda....yaha tak jewellers and paise jo humne bank me tumare future keliye rake vo sab kuch bhi....bank me se unhone kab paise nikale ye tak mujhe nahi pata tha..vo tho jab mai tumare college ke fees pay karne keliye gaayi thi tab jaake mujhe pata chala ki bank me koi paise hai hi nahi....tho uss wqt me kya karthi....ek baar bhi tumare papa ne tumare baare me nahi socha...bol the hai ki mai sab kuch thik kar dunga but huva kya....isliye mujhe ye sab karna padha...mai maan thi hoon ki ye baat maine unse chupaya hai..but ye ek backup plan ki tarah maine raka...ye soch aagar situation bahut hi garab huva tho iss ghar ko bhi bejh denge..."
"papa ko iss baare me pata tha kya..."
"haan pata tha..in fact unhone mujhse jagda tak kiya ki maine unse pucha kyu nahi papers dene se pehale...baat tho unhone nahi maana...maine tho inthna kaha ki maine Dadi ke name se papers ko girvi raki hai..kuch paise keliye...tab jaa kar tumare papa ne iss ghar ke baare me sochna chod diya....nahi tho aaj humare liye rahana keliye kuch bhi nahi hotha..."
"tho ab aap kyu maang rahi hai..."
"baas aise hi aur mujhe kuch form fill karne keliye kuch papers ki jaurt thi islye maine ye papers maage hai..ab aage tho baadhna hoga na....tumare padhi bhi baki hai....mujhe jo paise milne hai uska bhi kaam chal raha hai....ab tumare baare me mujhe sochna hoga..tumare papa ne tho life ko baarbad kar diya lekin mai tho nahi kar sakthi..jaise sab kuch thik ho jaayega....maine socha hai ki koi job bhi karloo..."says Suhani reading the papers..
"uski jaurt nahi hai Maa..hum haina...hum koi job dund lenge....inthna baade tho ho gaaye hai..ghar ki responsibility hum lenge...
Suhani smiles at girl... "ye sunn kar accha laga...aur mujhe pata ki tum ye responsibility bahut acche manage karogi but lekin tumare collage abhi complete nahi huvi hai beta....ek saal baki hai....tab tak keliye tho kuch karna hoga na.."
"aap uski firkar mat kijiye...hum soch the hai....aap baas apne baare me sochiyega thik hai...aur apne health ka bhi...."says Karishma holds her mother hand....
Suhani smiles and gives her long forehead kiss....then gets back to work.. Karishma stands there and thinks for a while...her mind is again filled with many question and one of them is about Haseena...she couldn't take the imagine from her mind...so she decided to talk to her...
In the evening...
Haseena is delivering the basket of breads and cookies to the customer at their house.. she loves doing this job personally... she get to see some people around the town...they have become a good friends of her so it's easy for her to mingle with them... also gets bunch of orders...
"thank so much Haseena...tumare café ke bread rolls bahut hi pasad hai..next time I will order more....okay..."says the customer..
"sure Mrs.Joshi....its our pleasure that you like it..."says Haseena with smile..
"and yes...here your money and also tip for extra fruit bun...i know mujhe sugar khane ka alkowes nahi fir bhi ek tho chal tha hi hai..." winks at her and gives the money to Haseena..
Haseena collects the money and walks back to her bike...there she is surprised to see the person who is waving her hand to her...she smiles a little walks towards her bike.
"Kirshu...aap yaha..."
"haan vo hum baas aise hi evening walk keliye nikele the...for fresh air you know...aur apki bike dekh liya tho socha ki apse bhi mile....dekha ki your still delivery packages and thought to help you..."
"that's really sweet of you Kirshu...hum dekh lenge...pehale bhi kar chuke hai..."
"I know... but pata nahi kyu apke saath aane ke maan huva...."
Haseena chuckles little at her statement and holds her hand...Karishma tightens her grip on their hand looks at her.....Haseena nods her head lightly and then they head towards the next destination for the delivery..
Like this they deliver many houses and finally comes back to the café where her grandmother instructing her staff....she too surprised to see Karishma there with Haseena...she didn't expected her to come here any time soon...but her heart flattered seeing the kids happy after a long time..
"hello dadi..."says Karishma slowly..
"Tum yaha....koi kaam tha kya beta..."
"nahi dadi..baas aise hi..kyu hum nahi aa sakthe yaha par..."
"aery humne aise nahi kaha....tum yaha par kabhi bhi aa sakthi ho.. mujhe laga ki tumhe thoda time chaiye hoga inn sab keliye..."
"haan vo tho hai...."says Karishma with dull face..
Haseena thought to lighten the mood.... "pata hai Dadi...aaj Kirshu humare saath hi food delivery kiya hai...hume tho bahut hi accha laga..soch raha the ki inthne saare deliveries hum akele kaise karge lekin Kirshu ne hume aagar bacha liya..."
"ye tho bahut hi acchi baat hai...."
"aise kuch nahi Dadi..ghar par bore ho raha the..aur baite rahange tho dimag karab hone shuru ho jaathe hai isliye socha ki hum thoda bahar aaye..vaise hume na apse bahut hi important baat karni hai...
"haan bolo beta...kya baat karni hai..."
"vo hum...uhh....."Karishma looks here and there uncomfortably...Haseena entwines her hand with hers and tells her to take long breath...Karishma does what she says and closes her eyes for a while...then relax..
"vo hum ye puchne aaye thi ki.....kya hum apke café me kaam kar sakthe hai..."
Haseena and Dadi eyes wide up..they didn't expected this question from hers.. soon Dadi faces changes into a loving one...even Haseena feeling really happy about her taking step forwards in her life...
"par beta....tum kaam kyu karna chahthi ho..."
"vo humne kaha ki aise rahane lage tho maan me bahut kuch chaltha hai...divert honge tho inn sab se thoda due honge aur aage ka sochna ke time bhi mil jaayega...maa ko bhi pareshan nahi kar sakthe kyuki vo pehale se vo bahut kuch jaale rahi hai....aur hum unki madad karna chahathe hai....i just wanted to come of it nothing else..."
Dadi comes forward and caresses her head lovingly ... "ye tho acchi baat hai ki tune ye sab socha..lekin tu yaha par kya kaam karegi...."
"koi bhi chlega..Dadi...abhi se kaam karne lag jaayege tho future ke liye experience mil jaayega....aur abhi humare summer vacation bhi chal raha hai..ghar me raha isse accha hai ki yaha aaye..aur hume Haseena ke saath time spend karne ka bhi mil jaayega..."says Karishma and bows her head...
Haseena smiles and looks at her Dadi....she nods her head....Haseena side hugs Karishma tightly...
"thik hai beta...yaha kaam kar sakthi ho..jadha kuch hai nahi par tumhare iliye accha rahage..logo se milna aur baathe karne se tumare maan me jo toofan chal raha haina vo shaant tho jaayega.....aur Haseena tumare madad karegi...."
"tho hume aaj se start kare..."
"kal se Kirshu...abhi raat hone waali hai aur Café bhi kuch der me baand ho jaayega...kal hum apko lene aa jaayege....thik hai.."says Haseena...
"sure...abhi hum chal the hai...ghar keliye kuch saman bhi lana hai tho jaana hoga...kal milthe hai aur Thank you Dadi...humare baat ko samhne keliye..."
"isme thanks ki koi baat hi nahi....pehle bhi tho tum yaha kaam karthi thi jab tum dono hi chote the....kithne mazae karthe ho dono...haar customer ko pareshan karthe the...."the girls giggles thinking about their childhood... "ab ye hasi vaapas bhi aa jaayegi....aur fikar mat karo sab thik ho jaayge...."
Karishma says bye to everyone and walks from there...Haseena watches her go...she had tears in her eyes but wipes quickly... but Dadi sees it and ask what happened...
"pata nahi Kirshu..inthna badal kyu gaayi..kya hume vo waali kirshu milegi jo life ko lightly lethi thi..."
"thik hone me thoda time tho lega na Haseena...but fikar mat karo..ab vo khud bahar aane ki koshish kar rahi hai..ye tho acchi baat haina...aur hume uski madad karni chaiye aur kuch nahi..jaldhi hi tumhe tumari Kirshu mil jaayegi...dekh lena..."
Haseena just smiles...and takes a deep breath...she wants to everything to go back to normal ....nothing else......
"I want everything back, the way it was.. but there is no point to it, this wanting..." thinks Haseena...
