1 Year Later
Katie POV
Niall has been on tour recently and he has a show today in London. Gracie doesn't know he is coming because Niall wants to surprise her. Gracie is 2 years old now which is crazy. It felt like yesterday I gave birth to her. She also is taking a nap so I decided to clean up the apartment before Niall comes back home.
I heard someone knocking on the front door and I went to open it. I opened the door and it's Niall with his bags.
"Niall" I said as I wrapped my arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms around my waist
"Hi baby. I missed you" he said
"I missed you too" I said and kissed him
He smiled and kissed me back. He tapped my bum to wrap my legs around his waist and I did. He walked over to the living room with my legs around his waist and he dropped me on the couch to make me giggle.
"I missed you so much" he said and kissed my forehead
"I missed you too" I told him
"Where's our little monster?" he asked
"Sleeping" I told him
"Can I wake her up?" he asked excitedly and I chuckled
"Yes you can" I told him
He went to her bedroom. I got up and followed him. Once we went to our room I got my phone out of my pocket and recorded this moment. Niall saw me and rolled his eyes.
"Really?" he asked
"Yep" I said
He crouched down on Gracie's bed and kissed her cheek.
"Gracie baby. Wake up" Niall told her
"Mama" she said and opened her eyes
"Guess who is here baby" I told her
I pointed behind her and she turned around to see Niall.
"Dada" she said and gave Niall a hug
Niall picked her up and spun her around to make her giggle.
"I missed you so much" Niall told her as he kissed her cheek repeatedly to make her giggle
"Dada" she giggled
"Nope. You're stuck with dada" Niall said as he tickled her to make her squeal with laughter
"Dada no. Mama help" she laughed and I stopped recording
"Niall let her go" I laughed
"Nope. She is stuck with me" he said as he kept ticking her
I smiled and grabbed Gracie from Niall to make him pout.
"She needs to breathe" I told him
"Fine. I miss both of my girls" he said and wrapped his arms around us "Did you miss me?" he asked Gracie and she shook her head yes "Good because I missed you too" he said and kissed the side of her head
"Hey. What about me?" I asked and he chuckled
"I missed you too" he said and kissed me

Niall POV
I'm a nervous wreck. The show is about to start and Katie and Gracie are standing front of the stage and watching me. I'm more nervous today because today is not a regular show. I'm going to propose to Katie in front of everybody and I'm sweating everywhere.
After singing Black & White the crowd cheered and I looked out at the audience to see Gracie and Katie cheering too and I smiled at them. Okay. This is it. You got this. I said to myself. I played with my hair for a bit before putting my mouth near the mic.
"London!" I shouted to make the crowd cheer "It's so good to be back on stage. How are you feeling?" I asked them and they cheered again "Before I start this next song. I want to bring someone out on stage. Can the security bring Katie and Gracie up here?" I asked them
I put my guitar on the guitar stand and gave Jake the nod. Jake is going to give Gracie the ring box so I can purpose to Katie. Katie and Gracie came on stage and Gracie ran up to me. I chuckled and crouched down to her level. She came to my arms and I hugged her.
"Hi princess" I said and kissed her cheek to make the crowd go in awe
I stood up and gave Katie a hug and kissed her cheek.
"What are you doing?" she asked me
"You will see" I winked at her
I went up to the mic stand and took the mic in my hands.
"Gracie. Do you want to say hi to everyone?" I asked as I crouched down to her level
She came to me and in my arms. She grabbed the mic with her little hands while I held her.
"Hi" she said and the audience went aww to make me chuckle and kiss her cheek
"Do you like the show so far?" I asked her and she nodded "Can you go to Uncle Jake? He needs to give you something" I told her and she did
I stood up and walked over to Katie.
"I did so much crouching already and I don't know how I'm going to crouch again for this next part" I joked into the microphone the crowd went wild because they know what was coming up but Katie still doesn't have a clue what's going on
Gracie went to Jake and he gave her the ring box to get the crowd to go crazy. She came over to me and gave me the ring box.
"Thank you princess" I said and kissed her cheek
She giggled and stood by me the whole time. I grabbed Katie's hand and sighed before talking into the mic again.
"I don't know what to say because there's a lot of things to say to you" I chuckled and she smiled "I just want to say I love you so much. You literally changed my life and made me a better person. You make me happy even tho you don't know it but you do. I hope I do the same thing for you and I think I am right?" I asked and she nodded "Good because" I said as I kneeled down on one knee and opened the ring box to make the crowd go crazy she had tears streaming down her face "I love you so much and make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?" I asked her
The crowd was shouting to make her say yes and I chuckled at them.
"Yes" she said
I smiled and put the ring on her finger. She wrapped her arms around my neck and I wrapped my arms around her waist.
"I love you" she said and I smiled
"Love you too" I said and kissed her
She smiled and kissed me back.
"Hey" I heard Gracie say to make us pull away
I chuckled and picked her up.
"I'm sorry we left you out princess. You need to be involved in this. Do you know what's that on mummy's finger?" I asked her and put the microphone in front of her mouth
"A ring" she said
"Yes it is a ring. That means I just asked her to marry me" I told her
"Did she say yes?" she asked and Katie laughed
"Yes I did say yes baby" Katie told her and kissed her cheek
"You two should head back. I'm almost done" I told them and they nodded
Katie grabbed Gracie from me. I kissed both of their cheeks and went back to the mic stand.
"That must be the most nervous thing I've ever done. I'm glad that's done" I joked about the last part and the audience chuckled "Okay. This next song is No Judgement. Let's go" I said and the band started the song

Katie POV
I looked down at my finger that has the ring. He freaking proposed in front of thousands of people. I was so scared because I was in front of the stage with Gracie and Niall. Niall just finished his set and Gracie and I are waiting for him.
"Thank you so much for coming out tonight. Hope you have a safe trip home. Bye everyone. Thank you" he told the crowd before throwing his guitar to the crowd and then walking towards us.
"Down?" she asked me and I nodded
I put her down so she can run to Niall. He was ready for her and picked her up.
"Did you like the show?" Niall asked her
"Yes" she said
"Good. How about you? Did you like the show and your surprise?" he asked me as he put Gracie down
"Yes. How long have you planned this?" I asked as I wrapped my arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms around my waist.
"I don't know for 2 or 3 months now" he said
"You have been planning this for 2 or 3 months and you haven't told me" I told him and he chuckled
"It's a surprise babe. But I did tell this little one" he said as he picked up Gracie
"You knew about this and you didn't tell me?" I asked Gracie
"Dad said not to tell you" she said
"What did he bribe you with?" I asked her
"Ice cream" she said excitedly
"You're not supposed to tell her. I bribed you with ice cream. Remember that silly" Niall told Gracie as he tickled her to make her laugh
"I'm sorry" she giggled and stopped tickling her and kissed her cheek
"Let's go home you two" he said and that's what we did. We went home and spend time with each other
