It shows a forest surrounded by woods, until Tassel popped into frame with an umbrella
"Bonne lecture everybody! Everyone, or I could say your name. That is...is it y/n...? Yeah I think it is, y/n! I need your help! I need you to find Victor's body in this forest, so point where he is so I would know," Tassel said
An arrow showed up and is pointing at the body in the forest
"What did you say? Where is it?" He asked
More arrows are pointing at the body
"Say it louder, come on," Tassel said
An arrow smacked him from behind his head and turns his head to see many of the arrows are pointing to the body
"I see! Thank you, y/n! You're the best," Tassel said and runs towards Victor's body, "Victor! Hang in there!"

Chapter 39: Grieving past
We left off after Victor had disappeared, leaving only his Seiken and his Ride Books to be dropped. Everyone who witnessed that was shocked to see him gone like that
"No way..." Gloria was in disbelief
"He's... Gone..." Hop said
"He just came back and now..."
"My sincere respect,"
Rena turns to Ryugh, "Is this supposed to happen!?"
"No, it's too early for him to die," he responded
"Then, how can the timeline continue without him...?" She asked
"That's... A difficult question, something like this rarely happens in every world I've visited," Ryugh replied
"I see..."
Sanpei looks around to see Desast isn't around, "Where did he go...?"
"Who are you looking for?" Mayer asked
"Ryan, I just hope he was just being controlled," he replied
"That earlier was definitely not being controlled, his behaviour is that of a Megiddo," Tonare responded
"But... He was different, how could Ryan and that Megiddo share the same body yet different person?" Sanpei asked
"How would I know, I'm not an expert," he replied
"Well then, I'll go find him on my own if you can't help," he said before leaving them
"Let's go," Ryugh said before leaving to go back to the cafe with Rena following him and the rest
Meanwhile Gloria was left behind, looking at the Kaenken Rekka and the Ride Books Victor left behind
"I've failed once again..." She said and puts her head down
"It's okay," Hop who is still in the park after everyone left
"I know you're trying to comfort me, it doesn't work..." Gloria responded
"I know that, it's very depressing to see him gone again..." He replied
"All that... Just to be met with nothing... Everything in the journey are just worthless..."
"Gloria..."
"Hop, you can leave me here, alone. You should go back with them," Gloria said
"Why should I leave you here? Aren't we friends?" Hop asked
"Friendship does not equal to less despair I got..." She replied
"I know losing someone is very anguish, it doesn't mean you have to make it the end of the world for you," he said
"Huh...?"
"I get why you're distraught, but is that what he wants from you? Isaac is still out there, possibly going to destroy other things while we're speaking. Which means he's going to kill someone who is important for someone else who has a relationship with that person," Hop responded
"Hop..."
"With what we have now, we must stop him together before destructions he creates becomes more severe," he said
"I get it..." Gloria said and getting up
"Do you understand?" Hop asked
"Mhm, my new determination is to save everyone's love ones, so they won't go through what I went through," she responded while looking at the Kaenken Rekka and the Ride Books

With Isaac
Isaac is on the throne holding the Omni Force Ride Book in his hand, "This feels so good..."
"Let me see that," Storious asked to see the book itself
"Take a look yourself," he replied
"Amazing, that's the Book of Omnipotent itself within your hand," he said
"Not quite, they say a new Seiken is supposed to be born once all the books have been absorbed. Assumed if no Swordsmans stay out of the way, and after Victor has regain his energy, I should be able to get that new Seiken once more to that end," Isaac responded
"If you want to, I am more than happy to lend a hand to give support," Storious said
"I'll have your support whenever I need to," he replied
"That aside, what will you do with that newfound powers of yours in the meantime?" He asked
"Destructions, a lot and lots of them," Isaac responded with the most devious grin

Back in the cafe
The rest returned back to the cafe after the fight in the park. They were very delightful that their Seikens are back
"It was a pain in my heart that this thing isn't in my hands for a few terrifying minutes," Mayer said
"It's good having this Seiken back!" Tonare said while rubbing the Onjuuken Suzune
"Glad you are safe again from what they did to you," Diane said to the Eneiken Noroshi Seiken
"You guys seriously have to make the Seiken your personality," Ryugh said to them
"What's wrong with it?" Rena asked
"How am I supposed to take this seriously with those behaviours," he replied
"Aren't you ecstatic to see your Seiken's back?" She asked
"This Seiken is my body, but you don't see me saying schwing every swing," Ryugh replied
"You got a point," Rena replied
Then, both Hop and Gloria came back to the cafe
"We're back," Hop said
Ryugh sees the Kaenken Rekka in Gloria's hand, "You kept it with you?"
She went up to him and gives the Seiken, "You can have it,"
"Why?"
"It'd be better for it to be in your hands," Gloria replied
"Now that's just nonsense," Ryugh said
"How's that?" She asked
"This Seiken was wielded by Victor, and who was his lover? That's you, it's better for you to hold on to it than me," he responded
"I see..."
"Actually, you should try and find Victor if he's still alive or not," Rena suggested
"That idea is... Not bad," Ryugh replied
"Wait, really?" Gloria asked
"Ryugh could try and find out if he's alive somewhere," Rena responded
"Basically, I have to hold the blade and hear if there's life presence, indicating if he's alive or not," Ryugh said
"I thought him surviving would be impossible?" Gloria asked
"Remember, he's a wonder child. And they have supernatural powers," he replied
"So does that mean he's still alive?" She asked
"... actually I'm not too sure..." Ryugh replied
"Then what was the point of trying to find him!?" Gloria asked
"Well... I have no idea," he responded
"Then it's pointless!" She replied and goes to the fridge to go inside the base
"Now look what you have done!" Rena said and hits him behind his head
"Ouch! What was that for!?" Ryugh asked
"You literally make it worse for her," she replied
"How am I supposed to answer her questions?!" He asked
"You've got thousands of years worth of experiences! You should've known what you were doing!"
"Yeah, but thousands of years worth of experience doesn't mean gaining intelligence!"
"Do you guys seriously argue like this...?" Hop asked

He's calling Isaac with his phone, "Come on... Pick up..."
Isaac then answers the call, "What do you want?"
"Master, you promised me to give me the treatment," he asked
He was given a laugh as a response, "You really want that from me?"
"That's the reason why I joined in the first place, to get the treatment to cure her pokemon," Alain replied
"You were very loyal, however I don't need you anymore,"
"What do you mean? I did everything so you have to give me the treatment in return!" He said
"What if I say if it were to be a lie?"
"You... You lied to me...?" Alain asked
"You'd think getting the treatment by working for me is easier than working for Team Flare? Hah, should've known better than that,"
The call ended which leaves Alain shocked, "No... I did all of that just to not get the treatment..."

He's looking around in the junkyard after following the GPS tracker application for tracking the Mumeiken Kyomu that Desast took
"Ryan! Hey! Where are you!?" Sanpei yelled
Desast was hiding behind a truck to stay away from him, "Why does this guy thinks I'll be back? That friendship wasn't that deep,"
The phone that Sanpei is holding starts beeping faster if it were to be close to the Seiken
"It beeps faster here, let me check," he said and went on to check behind the truck
Desast sees this and starts moving to be out of his sight. Sanpei went around to found nobody
"There's no one here, but it still beeping the same," Sanpei said
Desast sighed and shook his head, "When are you going to learn to move on...?"

Back with Gloria
She's in the Sword of Logos base trying to find a book about the Wonder children
"Where is it... They must have it here..." Gloria said while struggling to search for it on the bookshelves
"It's here," a hand appeared and point it at the book
She took the book out and see it was the correct one she's trying to find, "Thanks for helping me to find this book..." Gloria turned her head to see no one is in the base, "Wait, who was it...?" She questioned herself but shook her head, "Nevermind that, I got what I'm looking for,"
Then she opened the book and starts searching for the weakness of the Wonder children. She found it on one of the chapters talking about the weakness
"Let's see... The main weakness of the Wonder children are... Low of energy. The early sign of this is when their bodies starts going transparent before disappearing, and that means they're... No..." Gloria dropped the book after seeing the last word, "Dead..." She said before dropping to her knees
Hop went inside the Sword of Logos base looking for her, "Gloria? You here?" He asked then sees her before running up towards her, "Gloria! What's going on!?"
"It seems it was true..." She responded
"True about what?" He asked
"Victor... Really is gone..." Gloria replied
"Huh? How'd you know?" Hop asked
"It's in the book..." She pointed out
He then picked up the book and reads the weakness for a wonder child, "No..."
"If it were true... Then..."
"I thought we would have a chance to get him back since it looks like he's going to rest to regain his energy, but it turns out to be incorrect," Hop said
"That's another nail to the coffin..." Gloria responded
"Hey, do you want to be cheered up?" He asked
"Huh?"
"I know a place to cheer you up," Hop responded
"To where?" Gloria asked

Both of them are back in the park. Hop brought Gloria to the park to cheer her up
"Why'd you brought me back here?" She asked
"This is where Neoma and I spent our time together, before she betray me," he replied
"I don't get it..." Gloria said
"I know you won't, but does amusement park brought some memories back?" Hop asked
"...yeah, visiting one did change the event of my life," she replied
"Then you should try and visit one, maybe visiting an amusement park would bring a miracle," he responded
"Unlikely to happen again with that logic," Gloria said
"We meet again,"
Both of them turned their heads to see who it was
"Ren?" Hop recognize him
"Yeah, it's me!" He replied
"But why are you wearing that?" He asked
Ren was wearing a Dedenne costume and without the head
"Oh this? This is just a costume from my job," Ren replied
"You know him, Hop?" Gloria asked
"Yeah, he's the amusement park employee working here," he replied
"That's right... Actually I didn't catch your name," Ren said
"Me? Or her?" Hop asked
"Both actually, I forgot to ask for your name," he replied
"That's fine, my name is Hop,"
"And I'm Gloria,"
"Nice to meet you, my name is Ren,"
"Nice to meet you too," Gloria replied
"Say, are you two dating? Or just hanging out? I know a place for-"
"Well actually, we're cousins,"
"...huh?! D-did I heard that correctly?" Ren asked
"I know it's unbelievable," Hop replied
"But you two don't look related," he said
"It's more like distant cousins than close cousins from one side of the family," Gloria responded
"That... Makes sense I guess..." Ren responded then took out his phone to see the time, "Crap! I'm late!"
"Late for what?" Hop asked
"The comedy show! I'll be late!" He replied
"Comedy show?" Gloria asked
"Yeah, it's over there," he pointed so they know the direction
"Go ahead, we'll be there to watch it," Hop said
"Thank you! I hope my boss doesn't kill me!" Ren said and starts running to the comedy show
"Doesn't that sounds familiar to someone," Hop asked
"Yeah, but not the same," Gloria replied
"Gloria is that you?"
They turned their heads to see Emma with Jeremy in the amusement park
"Emma! Jeremy!" Gloria responded
"We meet again," Jeremy said
"Is this your first time going out of your home?" Hop asked
"Definitely not the first, but certainly the first time seeing someone we know outside of our home!" Emma replied
"That's great for you both to be outside of your comfort zone," he said
"Yeah, being in that house surrounded by snow is getting old and boring," Jeremy said
"Then why don't we go to the comedy show together?" Hop asked
"Comedy show? I love those!" Emma responded
"Where is it? I want to see it as well," Jeremy asked
"It's over there," Hop replied while pointing at the direction
"Thank you! Jeremy, let's go!" Emma said and goes to the comedy show
"Wait for me!" Jeremy replied and follows her
Hop turns his head to see Gloria is still there, "Aren't you going too?"
"You'll go first, I'll be there later," she replied
"If you say so," he responded before going to the comedy show that's starting
Gloria took out the Brave Dragon Ride Book to look at it, "If the miracle were to be true, I have your book with me,"

Ryugh is holding the Kaenken Rekka Seiken to sense if Victor's still alive. Rena is also in the base wondering the same thing
"How's the results so far?" She asked
"So far, no progress. There's no sign of him in the sword," he responded
"What was the sign earlier when Victor disappear?" Rena asked
"Could be him depleted of energy, even so, that means he died," Ryugh replied
"How can you be so sure?" She asked
"I've learnt a lot about this world. Definitely is different from Saber's world, but most is the same. From what I learned, that the book says the massive lost of energy could lead to the Wonder child's death, but I'm not sure," he responded
"Can he survive from that?" Rena asked
"He could, but the chances are very slim because their energy takes a very long time to recover," Ryugh replied
"Where does a wonder child goes if their energy almost depleted?" She asked
"They would return to Wonder World to recover and restore their energy they're lacking," he replied
"I see, how's the timeline going?" Rena asked
"Hm? Oh the timeline," Ryugh then took out a book to see it's normal, "That's strange,"
"What strange?" She asked
"The last time I checked, this page is supposed to be covered in purple energy to indicate danger, but now it's gone," he responded
"Did something happen before that?" Rena asked
"Let's see..." He looks back at the previous page to see the cause was, "Comedy... Show?"

Hop arrived at the comedy show and sat next to Jeremy and Emma, "I'm here to watch it,"
"Cool, but where's Gloria?" Emma asked
"She'll be here soon," he replied
"She better get here fast before it starts," Jeremy said
Then, Gloria arrived at the comedy show, "Sorry if I'm late,"
"You're in time, the show's gonna start," Emma said
"Took you long enough," Hop said
"Yeah, I wanna see this," Gloria replied while sitting next to them
The show then starts and someone comes out of the backstage and to the front stage. Gloria and Hop immediately recognised the first comedian
"Ren!?"
Jeremy and Emma's heads turns to them
"You know him?" Jeremy asked
"We've met him recently before you two," Hop replied
"Wait really? Is he a friend?" Emma asked
"Yeah, he is. And also the employee of the park," Gloria responded
"And now I want to know what the joke he's going to be telling," Jeremy said
"I'm curious too," Hop said
Ren puts the microphone next to his mouth to speak with the audiences so they could hear him louder, "All right everybody! Ready to see the show!?"

Desast got tired of hiding away from him since he's following him everywhere. He got out of hiding to show himself
"There you are!" Sanpei said
"Stop following me!" Desast replied
"But, there's a lot of questions I need answers," he said
"Questions?" He asked
"Are you really not Ryan?" Sanpei asked
"You still think about that? Fine, he's just a disguise for myself," Desast replied
"But are you really? Or are you not?" He asked
"What does that mean?" He asked
"Are you really Ryan? Or not?"
"What is this stupid question!?"
"If you really not him, then who are you really? Because he's completely different than you,"
"..." Desast went silent
"Tell me, if you are not him, then who is he?" Sanpei asked
"...I have no idea,"
"Then, who gave you the disguise?"
"If I last remember, it was Ryugh,"
"Ryugh gave you the disguise?"
"He given me the disguise in a form of a theatrical mask, and I simply put it on my face to disguise myself as a human with a Megid body,"
"So, Ryugh was behind this?"
"I don't know where the mask came from nor I was involved in it, but it feels like it was a different person, alive and well instead of supposedly dead like what Ryugh told me,"

The show ended and now they're in one of the the amusement park's restaurants. They're sitting in the available seats that are in the restaurant
"How was the show?" Hop asked
"It was great!" Emma replied
"It's entertaining enough," Jeremy responded
"It's... Fine," Gloria said
"Gloria, you look like you didn't have fun in the show," Hop asked
"Well... It just that it brought many memories, but not in a good way," she replied
"What memories?" Emma asked
"It's personal, you won't understand," Gloria replied
"I wonder what memories you're talking about," Jeremy asked
"It's a problem with myself, and I don't want you two to hear it," she responded
The waiter arrived at their table with their drinks before placing them down. Hop looks at the waiter to appreciate for its service except he was surprised
"Ren?!" Hop said
"Huh?" They turned their heads to the waiter to see it was Ren
"Oh, we meet again it seems," Ren said
"Wait, what job did you get?!" Hop asked
"Like I said, I'm the amusement park's employee," he replied
"But that doesn't excuse you from being a comedian at the comedy show and being the waiter here!" He said
"Ah, I can see why you would be confused with that," Ren said
"Why were you working in a lot of jobs? Are you in college or something?" Jeremy asked
"Nope, I only work here for fun," he replied
"At least you're happy with what you're doing,"
"Anyways, I have other customers to serve, I'll catch up with you guys after this," Ren said before leaving

He's standing on the hospital's balcony and watch the night sky above the city
"I did all of that, just to not help and get betrayed..." Alain said
"You need help?"
He turned his head to see Ryugh in the balcony with him, "Who are you!?"
"The Light Swordsman, Ryugh," he responded
"Why are you here?"
"I've been checking out the information about your identity and background, and it seems there's something motivating you for doing the deed,"
"Why should you care,"
"Because you're a Swordsman,"
"And? What do you think that'll add the value?"
"We need the last Swordsman, that's you and your Seiken,"
"For what?"
"Maybe, we can stop Isaac. Didn't he betray you?"
"Why would he betray me? I'm still working for him," he lied
"Huh, I thought he did,"
"Then leave me alone, I don't want to see your face,"
"If you need more time to think this through, I'll be waiting," Ryugh said before leaving him
"What a weirdo..." Alain said

Back with them
It's night at the amusement park, they had their fun together and now going to leave the park
"It was such a great time with you guys," Jeremy said
"Mhm, we had so much fun together," Emma said
"Glad you enjoyed it, would've done it without you," Hop said
As they were about to exit the park, they were stopped by Ren that got in front of them
"Wait! Don't leave yet!" He said
"Ren? What's the matter?" Hop asked
"You see, there's a shooting star that is going to happen!" He replied
"What?! A shooting star!?" Emma was excited
"So when?" Jeremy asked
"It's going to be visible here, because the amusement park's lights will be turned off so you all can see it," Ren responded
"Now that you said it, I want to stay," Gloria said
"Me too, I want to see it as well," Hop said
"Thanks for staying! I thought this would be a special night together," he said
"Where's the shooting star? I want to see it!" Emma asked
"Calm down, it'll start within an hour," Ren responded
"An hour!? Then let's hurry and see it!" She said
Timeskip
One hour later, the lights in the amusement park were turned off so the shooting star will be more visible. They are all laying on the grass in the park looking at the stars
"What does your boss think of this?" Hop asked
"He's a nice guy, and he knows that the shooting star is going to happen tonight," Ren responded
"How long does it take for them to fall?" Emma asked
"Be patient with it, soon you'll see it," he replied
"Oh yeah, didn't you guys lived in the rural part of Snowbelle City? So does that mean this isn't your first time?" Hop asked
"Not really, due to the snow, we can't look at the window because it gets foggy, and we can't go outside for obvious reasons," Jeremy responded
"And I am excited to see it on a clear sky!" Emma said
"You really are excited to see it," Ren said
"Gloria, what are you going to wish for after seeing the shooting star?" Hop asked but she didn't reply, "Gloria?" He turned his head to see her looking at the sky intently, "I'm guessing you don't want to be distracted for trying to see the shooting star," he said before turning his head back to the sky
Gloria was gazing at the sky to look at the stars, 'If the legends about wishing stars are true... Then this should make the miracle... Though, wishing for someone's resurrection would be impossible...' her thoughts
Then, moments later. They saw one shooting star, then another, and more of them
"Look!"
"It's beautiful!"
"Wow..."
"Told ya, I knew this was the best place to see it," Ren said
While for Gloria, she's thinking of a wish in her head while grasping on the Brave Dragon Ride Book. A shooting star can be seen after the wish
"So, did you all think of a wish?" Ren asked
"Huh? Oh no I forgot!" Emma said
"That's okay, next time probably," Jeremy said
"But how!? This is the only time we can see the shooting star clearly!" She asked
"The shooting star will appear again in the future," he replied
"Don't worry, if you visit here often, I'll give you news if another will occur again," Ren said
"You really care about other people happiness, Ren?" Hop asked
"Yeah, that's my wish. I wish for the families who are visiting this park to have a wonderful time," he responded
"That's a nice wish," he said
"So what's your wish, Hop?" Ren asked
"Uhh... I wish for... The future having a satisfying conclusion," Hop responded
"That wish is a bit weird," he said
"What I meant was that the future having a peaceful one," he replied
"Hm, alright. What about you, Gloria?" Ren asked
"..."
"Hey? I'm asking here!" He said
She got back to reality and turns to him, "Huh? What was the question?"
"I said what is your wish?" Ren asked
"Oh, my wish is to see someone again," Gloria responded
"See someone again? Who?" He asked
"A close one, a partner, and a lover," she replied
"So... Your boyfriend?" Ren asked
"Yeah..."
"Did... Did he passed away?" He asked
"I don't want to talk about it," Gloria replied
"I'm sorry for your loss, I'm trying my best to not make you sad in this amusement park," Ren said
"It's okay, I understand," she replied
"Ren, why are you obsessed with the amusement park?" Hop asked
"Because, this amusement park is a place of happiness. Where people can enjoy, having fun and joy together with friends and family, even being alone doesn't matter because all you get in this park is pure happiness," he responded
"That... Is really sweet of you," he said
"Thanks, and I hope my wish comes true," Ren said
