When I wake up to the message from Gracie my heart drops I jump up when I realize it's already 1:30 pm and get ready immediately.

I see it again our spot hopefully this talk can clear up some confusion I've been having as currently I'm trying so hard not to go fucking crazy when I walk up to the gazebo I see the familiar blue Converse on the pavement I trace it to the person who is nonother than Gracie sitting on the bench eyes bloodshot and filled with tears when she finally notices me standing there her back straightens and she stands up "Ivy" she practically whispers "Hey" I say quietly before I have time to think about anything Gracie is walking over to me "I'm sorry" her voice is so tender and sad I tilt my head trying to pay attention to her but do not fully understanding what was going on "why" when I say this she slaps her hand on her head then rubs her raw eyes "I kept ghosting you I promise I have a reason but I don't wanna use it as an excuse because that was an asshole thing I did" I grab her hand "I won't judge I will listen to you" what could she be wanting to tell me, is this idea of her liking me back all just be a fictional thing. Could we be more than this? Could we be more than friends? No, she is straight we can't be anything.
Gracie looks up at the cloudy sky and then back to me she takes away her hands it starts down pouring she rakes through her hair how does she look so unbelievably beautiful
"Should we go?" I ask
"Do you want to?"

"No, I don't want to go I just want to be with you"
I blush, she grins while clearing her throat
"Okay so I've um I have been feeling some things I can't really explain it but the feeling is new and really strong I've come to terms with it- I what I'm trying to say is I like you Ivy I am so so sorry for ignoring you but I had to figure out what the hell I was feeling before I went insane I like you so much it's all I've been able to think about ever since I saw you in that café but I didn't realize I like you romantically till now" she finishes her confession my mouth is wide open "and again sorry if this is all sudden and I sprung this on you I never meant to" A smile creeps on my face, her hands brush up against my arms chills run down my body "I've had a crush on you before you even knew I existed but I thought you were straight and I didn't have a chance so I was okay with just being friends" she inches closer to me
"Well I'm definitely not straight I know that now"
"I couldn't be happier to know that"
"Ivy, can I kiss you?"
"Please do"
Gracie wastes no time She leans in our lips meld together Butterflies, fireworks, magic, and any other possible thing can't even describe the way I feel right now When we stop kissing we catch our breath "This is pretty gay of us only knowing each other for two months and admitting we like each other" I say while laughing Gracie kisses me again "yeah well the heart wants what it wants" then back to kissing
"I wrote a song about you"
"about me?, I got to hear this song now"
"Maybe some day"
We kissed again this time more powerfully, we kept fighting for dominance till she won
"As much as I love making out with you let's take it slow" Gracie groans throwing her head back "Yeah you're right I want everything with us to be at the right time, we shall take this slow" I give her one last peck before putting out my hand for her, she grasps my hand firmly and we walk out hand in hand smiles beaming on both of our faces we look at the separate cars than to each other
"Meet at my place?"
"Meet at your place?"
Gracie and I say at the same time we laugh I start to walk away, I turn around grab Gracie's face, and give her one last kiss
"Sorry I just can't get used to kissing you"
"Keep on doing it"
"Don't say that because I will"
she giggles before getting in her car when I get in my car I just about implode I don't even know what to do with myself I get out my phone and decide to text Rosie since I know she would want this life-altering update

I pull up to my apartment when I get there Gracie is sitting on her car
"ready to go up?"
"Yes ma'am"
We interlock our hands and I lead the way.
"What do you want to watch Ve?"
"I don't know, what do you want to watch?"
"We are both way too indecisive for this" We both laugh knowing what I said was true
"How about twilight?" she stares at me smirking
"Can it be breaking Dawn part two?" we lay on the couch
She lays her head on my lap "Anything you want" I brush the hair in her face away and kiss her forehead "Wow we really are gay" I say when Gracie's head goes back her loud laughing fills my ears
"Yeah well we're cute"
I lean down and she moves up we kiss again no power just slow and sweet "Yeah we are"
