Kinn's P.O.V:
One of the maids said that Porsche arrived in front of the house.
I put away the comb and turned to Kim.
"Alright...We'll go to the party now this is really important so you have to be nice" I said.
He rolled his eyes and nodded.
"Fine whatever let's go to the stupid party" He said.
I facepalmed.
I really hope that won't be a disaster.
"Let Porsche in and go get the presents from my room" I told the maid.
"Yes mr Kinn" She said then left.
"Bubbles" Kim said suddenly.
I frowned and turned to him.
"Huh?" I asked.
But saw him looking out of the window with a pair of binoculars.
"The neighbours from the villa next door are having a blast in their balcony" He said as he kept looking through the binoculars.
Then whistled in amusement.
"Woah...One of them threw an armchair into the pool" He said.
I grabbed the binoculars from his hands.
"Oh come on" He whined.
"Let's go downstairs now" I said.
Then walked him downstairs.
Porsche was sitting on the sofa doing something on his phone.
"Oh...I totally forgot that your brother was invited too...My bike won't be helpful so I guess we'll have to go with your car" He said.
"Yeah...Macau is also invited" I said.
And as if on cue Macau walked in then waiied to Porsche politely who smiled in return.
"P'Kinn can I borrow your charger? My phone is dead" Macau said.
"You can use the car charger" I said.
"Then it's settled let's go" Porsche said.
After sometime we were in front of Porsche's house.
Porchay opened the door and smiled at Porsche.
Porsche smiled in return and ruffled his hair before we all walked inside.
Macau's P.O.V:
I followed Porchay to the kitchen.
"Happy birthday" I said smiling.
"Thank you" He said smiling.
I grabbed a few plates I found on the kitchen counter.
"Oh no...You're a guest you should go wait outside" He said.
"It's alright it's just a few plates" I said.
Then walked over to the dining table.
I put the tables down and Porchay put the plastic cups down.
Porchay's brother walked over to us and started cutting the cake.
"Ummm...P'Porsche can I take Porchay to my house to watch a movie this weekend?" I asked.
"Sure thing I don't see why not" He said.
I smiled and patted Porchay's shoulder.
"I'm going to talk to my cousins but here's your present anyway" I said.
Then gave Porchay a box that had a flash drive and a pair of wireless headphones.
I went to find my cousins after that.
They looked like they were having an argument when I found them.
"What are you talking about P?" I asked as soon as I walked over to them.
"It's nothing...Kim just wanted to go home" P'Kinn said.
"Oh come on P'Kim let's just have fun" I said.
Then grabbed their hands and walked them into the house.
I noticed that P'Kim was looking at Porchay as if he wanted to tell him something so I snapped my fingers to get his attention.
"P'Kim where's your present?" I asked.
"Oh right...My present" He said.
Then went to get it from the car.
"P'Kinn P'Porsche is looking for you" I said.
"Oh...Ummm...Ok I'll go see what he wants" P'Kinn said then left.
Perfect...They're all gone now.
I grabbed one of the cherries on the cake but before I could eat it Porchay cleared his throat.
I turned to him and smiled awkwardly so he folded his arms over his chest.
I rolled my eyes.
"Fine...You can eat some too...But hurry up before they come back" I said.
Then we started eating the cake decorations.
Oh well...Everyone knows that the cake decorations are a lot more delicious then the cake itself.
We ate them all by the time the others were back.
"Hey...Where did the cherries and chocolate chips go?" P'Porsche asked.
Then turned to us.
I shrugged as Porchay wiped away the chocolate stain off of his lip.
"I don't know what you're talking about" Porchay said.
P'Porsche turned back to the cake.
"Jeez...You even ate the small chocolate cookie crumbs...What the hell?" He asked.
Oh well...Be glad that we were generous enough to leave the chocolate sauce.
"I'm going to go bring more...Kinn...Keep an eye on the cake" P'Porsche said.
P'Kinn raised a thumb up.
P'Kim still did his best to stay away from Porchay.
"Alright he's gone now" P'Kinn said.
Then grabbed a knife and took a piece of the cake.
"Hurry up before he comes back" P'Kinn said.
So we both did the same.
Porsche's P.O.V:
I walked over to the dining table once again with a small plastic plate that had cherries and chocolate chips to redecorate the cake but found that four quarters of the said cake had gone missing.
I looked up and saw that Kinn and his brother and cousin and Porchay all had chocolate all over their mouths.
"Oh come on" I whined.
"It was really delicious" Kinn said as he raised a thumb up.
I shook my head and facepalmed.
"Fine then...I don't care anymore" I said.
Then took a part of the cake and started eating.
Those people know nothing about the conception of birthday candles for sure.
Porchay closed his eyes and murmured something in a low voice.
Then opened his eyes and went back to eating.
After sometime the party was over so I took Kinn to my room.
"So what do you think?" I asked as soon as I sat down on the bed.
He walked over to me and sat down on the bed.
"It's small but comfortable" He said.
I stood up and walked over to the cupboard that had a few albums and grabbed one of them then handed it over to Kinn.
"Here...You can go ahead and have a look if you want to" I said.
"Really?" He asked.
He looked really excited so I chuckled and sat down next to him again.
Then he started looking through me and Porchay's baby photos.
(Meanwhile)
Kim's P.O.V:
I should just go home this still feels awkward.
Porchay walked over to me.
"What?" I asked.
"Nothing I was just wondering why you came" He said.
"Kinn asked me to come" I said.
"It's my birthday not P'Kinn's" He said.
I rolled my eyes.
"Fine...I apologise...I'm sorry ok? It was rude of me to say that" I said.
He nodded.
"Yeah it was" He said shrugging.
That little...
I nodded to myself.
"Fine...What else am I supposed to do? I already apologised didn't I?" I asked.
"Why would you apologise? You don't feel that you did anything wrong anyway" He said.
I frowned.
"I don't like the way you talk as if you're better then me P'Kim because you aren't" He said.
I smiled thinly.
"And what makes you think that?" I asked through gritted teeth.
"I'd have accepted the job even before you offered me the money because I wasn't looking for money I actually hoped that I'd have a better reason to stick around" He said.
Then took a deep breath and nodded to himself.
"I'd have accepted it because I liked you but after what you said I don't think I can work for you because that's just too humiliating...And I'm not that desperate for your money to beg you or anyone else for help at any chance I get" He said.
Then took a step back.
"That's why I can't accept your apology until you actually mean it" He said.
Then walked away.
I pursed my lips into a thin line and looked at the ground.
What does it mean to feel the need to apologise anyway?
I don't think I ever apologised to anyone before.
(Meanwhile)
Vegas's P.O.V:
I was watching TV in my room when my phone started ringing.
I took it out and saw that it was Pete so I picked up.
"Hey" I said.
"Hey...I'm in front of your house" He said.
"Huh? Why are you there?" I asked frowning.
"I brought a movie and some pizza let's have a sleepover" He said excitedly.
I opened the curtains to look outside the window and saw him waving at me.
"Fine wait there I'll tell a maid to let you in" I said.
Then hung up.
What now?
Eversince we agreed to talk to each other like a week ago that guy has been following me around everywhere like a puppy.
A cute puppy to be honest but still...
After sometime the maid led him upstairs and soon enough he was sitting on the bed next to me.
He had two boxes of pizza and a pack of popcorn.
"What's with the sudden plan?" I asked.
"Sleepovers and home dates are the best" He said.
Then turned on the TV.
It was still unplanned though...
What the hell? He can't just come here unannounced.
I stood up and walked over to the private bathroom.
"Oh come on...Where are you going? We should watch the movie together it's more fun this way" He whined as he followed me.
I rolled my eyes and turned to him again before unbuttoning the first button of my silk pyjamas.
"I'm going to shower...What? You want to come have a look or something?" I asked.
He turned and left.
Finally some quiet...
I turned to go on my way but turned to look behind me when I heard a light thud sound.
And saw Pete sitting on a chair in front of the bathtub with popcorn in his hands as he munched on some.
"What the...What are you doing?" I asked frowning.
"Well...You're the one who asked me if I wanted to have a look right? Well...I actually don't mind...So you can go right ahead" He said shrugging.
I rolled my eyes and grabbed the chair while he was still sitting then put the chair outside the bathroom and slammed the door shut before he could say anything else.
