you were currently on your bed, your body wrapped in your towel as your mom was looking through all of your clothes. now you weren't sure what was happening but all you knew that your family was going to some bbq at someone's house.
so you sat there shivering as your mom picked out three outfits, "OKAY! n/n you got three choices!" your mom smiled and laid down the outfits in front of you as you looked at them

outfit no.1:
it was a white slightly cropped, short-sleeved top with black outlines and two pockets in front of the chest along with black small but visible buttons down the middle. the top came with a matching white skirt that had a black stripe at the bottom. your mom paired the outfit with over the calf white socks and black loafers along with your cute mini black purse, and to finish the whole outfit with a huge white bow for your hair. a bit to much for some bbq but your mom loves dressing you up.
outfit no.2:
in this one, there was a oversized white tee-shirt and black baggy shorts- that your mom bought for your older brother when he was small but he refused to wear it. your mom picked out white ankle high socks and your white and blue nike shoes. she also picked out a black cross body bag and a black hat to match. now this outfit was more comfortable to you
outfit no.3:
finally your mom picked out a white blouse that had a detailed notched collar and long cuff sleeves. on top of the blouse would be a badge vest, that had cute teddy bears on it along with a dark brown skirt. your mom had paired it with brown ballerina shoes and a beret and lastly a brown cross body bag. it was very cute so now you were struggling on which to choose.
you looked in the mirror at the outfit your picked and was loving it, "awh! my baby is beautiful!" your mom smiled and snapped pictures.
"c'mon let's show your daddy" she chirped and walked downstairs to the living room where your dad was.

you stared out the car window at the house in front of you, it was quite big. making you think if you guys were poor or something. kento unbuckled your seatbelt and carried you out of the car and placed you down as your dad pressed the doorbell. you watched as the big doors opened and a tall beautiful women was seen, "oh! hello!" she cheered and opened the door wider to let you all in. you looked around the house and dang it was pretty.
"you guys came just in time! we just set everything up!" she smiled and led you all to the backyard, where you saw another tall man cutting out some vegetables and another lady setting out the table. as that lady turned around at look at you all you immediately knew who she was.
"EMIKOO!" you threw your hands up and ran towards her, emiko's eye widen and crouched down with open around ready to receive your hug. "Y/NNNN!" she giggled along with you
"hey y/n i was supposed to hug her first!" kento frowned at you as you just blew raspberries at him making him scoff away. your dad went to emiko's dad and help with the cooking while your mom and emiko's mom were sitting on the outdoor sofa near the pool, gossiping about whatever.
emiko and kento were now having a small chitchat with you in between them as you were growing bored of them and their awkwardness. so you began thinking..
you were told that you were going to someone's house for bbq..
but didn't know who's house..

you faced was now in a mixture of disgust and shocked as you realised and to your dismay a loud voice was heard as you slowly turned to see who it and hope for who it was to not be who you think it was cuz if it was him you would go jump in the pool and drown, "MAMA!! IM BACK AND—" the loud voice was stopped as you made eye contact with

the both of you spoke in sync.
"EW? WHAT DO YOU MEAN EW?!"
the both of you yelled again in sync
"oh, tōru! you can go play with your friend y/n—" tōru's mom was cut off by him himself, "she's not my friend!" tōru whined to his mom
"i'd rather die!" he added and choked himself
"tōru! that's rude!" his mom scolded and apologised to your mom for tōru's behaviour. "but this is a social gathering baby, you're gonna talk to her if ya like it or not!" she smiled and your mom laughed, picking you up and placed you down next to tōru who was next to his mom.
the two of you eyed each other and looked away, "y/n why don't you go and play with tōru" tōru's mom suggested as you looked down at your outfit, "NU-UH! i was gonna go play with iwa!!" tōru stomped his feet which made his mother glare at him
"no thank you" you declined
just as tōru was opening his mouth to say something the gate was opened and revealed a tanned short boy with thin eyebrows and brown eyes, he had brown spiked hair and was wearing a sleeveless top and shorts with flip flops. the boy was also carrying a small net over his shoulders.
"TŌRU! LOOK AT THIS LIZARD I FOUND!" he yelled, holding out a gecko in his hands and a huge pretty smile on his face.
your face soften, eyes shined at the person in front of you. the boy looked at you, his smile dropping a bit as his mouth was just now partly open, and his eyes sparkled at your sight.
"oh, hi!" he waved at you and smiled shyly, as you gave him a small wave back and smiled to yourself. "my name is Hajime Iwaizumi- but you can call me hajime- or iwa if you like" hajime spoke and walked up to you.
"oh- i'm y/n l/n!" you smiled, and faced him, swinging back and forth on your feet and holding on to your bag.
tōru looked back and forth at his best friend and you, confused on what was happening.
"um- look at what i found" hajime spoke in a quiet tone and showed you the gecko, your eyes widen at it and your mouth made an o-shape. "can i hold it?" you questioned as he nodded and handed the gecko to you in your hands.
"oo! mama look!" you turned around and showed the gecko to your mom knowing damn well she hated geckos. hajime watched as you were showing your mom and was smiling at himself
tōru looked at his best friend up and down in disbelief, tapping his foot and crossed his arms. this caught hajime's attention, and he turned to tōru, "what?"
"what?" tōru mocked hajime and frowned at him, "don't tell me you like... her" tōru faked barfed
"she is pretty" hajime crossed his arms
"ew! no way she's like the human version of a caterpillar and a red bottom monkey combined!" tōru stick his tongue out but before he could continue, hajime pulled out a beetle and shoved it into tōru's face.
"AHH WHAT THE FUCK" tōru yelled and ran away as hajime chased him,
"TŌRU!!" his mom and dad yelled at him as you just watched and your mom recording the whole thing

you sat there, resting your head on the palm of your hand. smiling from ear to ear, simply listening to hajime tell you all about the insects he has caught and showing you all of them.
meanwhile tōru was standing on his step stool from inside the kitchen, death glaring you and hajime from the window. "it's unfair!" he exclaimed, scaring his dad who was shaping some rice balls.
"what's unfair?" tōru's dad questioned, as tōru just looked at his dad with a itsnt-it-obvious look on his face.
tōru rolled his eyes being pointing his finger to outside at you and hajime, cringing as he watched you two laughing together and poking a frog.
tōru barfed at the sight making his dad laugh, "i don't like her at all!" he huffed and crossed his arms
"well things can't always go your way" his dad shrugged making tōru look at him in confusion, "huh?"
tōru's dad didn't say anything but point at kento and emiko who were smiling at each other a lot and there were far more awkwardness than compared to you and hajime who got along just fineee
tōru's frowned in confusion, "huh?"
"seems like your big sisters fallen in love with someone too" he simply smiled and walked away back outside with the rice balls. tōru stood there confused, trying to process down his dads words. placing a finger on his chin and he thought hard before his eyes widen and now had a horrific look on his face.
