Christmas arrived and disappeared in the blink of an eye and almost instantly it's the 31st of December and everyone's preparing to ring in the new year.
I've officially made my what I hope to be my final move to Monaco and to spice things up, Horner got me the apartment right above my teammate.
And let's just say we've had some interesting moments so far.

"are you sure it's supposed to be missing this many screws?" I asked looking down at the ground.
"I'm positive, they're just extra" he said standing up.
Max insisted on helping me set up my sim and he just finished building my chair.
"well take a seat" he smiled.
I chuckled nervously.
"h-how about you sit first? I mean after all you did build it"
He rolled his eyes.
"there's nothing wrong with the chai-ah!"
As soon as his butt hit the seat then chair went crashing down. I jumped back watching him now on the floor.
I held in my laugh covering my face.
"I hate you"

I chuckled looking over at the chair, that I rebuilt as he iced his butt with a pack of frozen pees.
After spending a lovely Christmas with Mick, sadly I'd be spending New Year's alone here.
I paused my show and walked into the kitchen.
I opened the freezer and grabbed a tub of ice cream. I jabbed a spoon in the middle and began eating it.
what?
I have like a good month left until I need to start getting back into race mode so leave me alone.
As I was walking back to the living room the doorbell rung.
I waddled over draped in my blanket.
I opened the door to find my lovely teammate.
"you look a mess" he cringed looking me up and down.
I rolled my eyes.
I was being sarcastic
"gee Max you know exactly what to say to a girl" I said walking back to the couch.
He followed behind me closing the door.
He jumped up on the island and grabbed a bottle of water.
"you're coming with me to a New Year's party tonight" he said.
I looked up from my raspberry swirl.
"huh?"
"Kelly isn't here" he said jumping off.
"and I refuse to go to the party without a girl on my arm" he said walking towards me.
I whined.
"but I just want to stay home"
"please?" He asked flashing his gummy smile.
I rolled my eyes giving in.
It would look good that the new Red Bull teammates are getting along plus with this, Horner wouldn't then force us to do team bonding.
Once he left I put my ice cream back in the freezer and went to my room.
I opened my closet and pulled out a short strapless white dress and a pair of heels. I laid it all out on the bed then got to getting ready.
I took about a hour in the shower and by the time I got out it was 5.
I dried off then put on some lotion.
I sat down in front my vanity and started my hair.
I blow dried it then straightened over it and once it was pin needle straight, I raked through it with some serum then clipped it up.

I walked over to my bed and grabbed my dress. Once it was on, I did my makeup then put on my jewelry.
As I was grabbing my purse the doorbell rung.
I turnt off the lights then opened it to reveal Max in a fitted white shirt and matching white pants.
"you look hot" he smirked.
I rolled my eyes hitting him with my purse.
We headed downstairs then got in his car. When we got to the venue the place was surrounded by paparazzi.
"stay in, I'll come get you" he said opening his door and getting out.
He handed valet the keys then rushed over to my side trying to avoid all the camera flashes. He opened the door and extended out his hand.
I grabbed ahold and he pulled me out.
I flipped my hair back flashing my famous smile at everyone.
"Max!"
"Amani!"
"over here!"
"Red Bull power couple!"
I chuckled as he lead me inside the venue.
"we're really going to be the best looking pair this season" he smirked wrapping his arm around my waist for the picture.
"that's the smartest thing you've said all day" I smirked back.
Once we got our photos taken he brought me to meet his friends.
After a while I got bored so I started to roam around.
As I was about to go back to Max, I saw a familiar face.
"Amani Kraus"
I smirked.
"Lewis Hamilton"
I hugged him kissing his cheek.
"what are you doing here?" He asked letting his hands rest at my sides.
"princess Max over there" I said nudging over at him talking to some girls at the bar.
He chuckled.
"you're welcome to stay with me if you'd like" he offered.
I smiled nodding.
As we were talking to one of his friends, I felt my phone vibrating. I pulled it out and saw that it was Mick.
"excuse me" I said to them as I stepped away.
"hey mickypoo" I smiled answering the call.
"you and Max look cute"
how did he-
"the pictures got leaked on Twitter" he chuckled.
of course they did
We talked for little bit and he wished me for the 100th time today happy new years then I hung up and went back to Lewis.
Soon enough it was 11:59 and everyone had their glasses of champagne in their hands and rushed outside to watch the fireworks over the water.
I smiled as I stood in between Max and Lewis.

"happy new year!"
As I took a sip of my champagne I felt both my cheeks being kissed.
I cringed pulling the glass away from my lips.
"how many times do I have to say that I'm a married woman!?"
They both laughed hugging me.
"to a new year and new teammate" Max smiled.
"and a new year and new friend" Lewis added.
