Getting kicked out of my previous school forced us to move, and I swear I despise everything about it. We moved from Chicago to Sugarhill, and everything there is different from where we were before. Still ghetto, but Sugarhill doesn't have non of my friends.
Todays the first day at this trashy ass school I swear ima end getting expelled again if a bitch try playing me I get dressed into some cargo pants a crop top and a blue zip up hoodie.I spray some of my Dior perfumes on before applying their lip oil. I grab my bag and tell my mom I'm going.
I have to walk because of how close we live to this school. I already hate this school and I ain't even walk in the building.
I put my AirPods in because the streets of new York be loud as fuck and I ain't tryna deal with that. I finally arrive at school I walk in and see these guys staring through my soul. I look back down at my phone not really caring what these randoms want. I walk into the office and get my schedule. I take one look at this shit and feel like killing my self cause who the hell wants to do math first thing in the morning.
It took a sec but I finally found mr Tim's classroom he this bald teacher he wearing a whole ass tux. Like who has the time for that bullshit. I look to see the boys that were staring are in this class. I look at the teacher he says introduce your self. I look at the class and say I'm Athena he says well Athena you can take a seat by David he said pointing at that one of the boys form earlier.
I roll my eyes they gon be everywhere or something I go and sit down. I go on my phone hidding it behind my chrome book. When someone snatches it form me. I look up to see that David boy. What the fuck do you think your doing I say. Nah who the fuck you think you talking to like that he said before saying my future wife needs a education pay attention sliding my phone In his pocket. I don't know why but I didn't do anything I actually started paying attention the fuck is wrong with me I don't even listen to my parents.
When class is finally over I said David can I have my phone back. He says you sound mad federal call me dd and nah but what class you have next. I took out my schedule and just show him. Damn ma they really wanted me to be with you because you got all the same classes as me he says smirking. I mentally face palm I don't think I can take this I don't know why I haven't beat this kid upside his head yet.
Aye you Athena right I heard someone say i turn to see sum fine dark skin with dreads. I said yah why. He said can you come thorough with the number. I was just about to say yah when I feel someone's arms around my waist before I hear dd say no she cannot she's mine. The guy say all yours dd before walking away looking like he seen a ghost.
I break out of his hold saying sense when was I yours. He said sense the moment I laid eyes on you. And why did that guy get scared of you like that I ask. Because he knows I don't play when it comes to what's mine he says. I roll my eyes I didn't agree to this I say. He says didnt half to you don't have a choice. I don't argue with him, not because I'm scared, but because he has my phone, and I don't want to have to wait any longer to get it back. He looks at me and says, "Come on," grabbing my hand as he leads me to class. Once we get there, the teacher says I can sit wherever I'd like because I'm new. DD interferes and says she's sitting next to me. I'm about to protest when he gives me a stern look, and the teacher looks at us weirdly before looking away and going back to teaching the lesson.
When we sit down, we sit next to this boy.
a light skin with curly hair, he dabs up dd and asks, "Who is this pointing at me " DD replies: This is my future wife. I roll my eyes before looking at the teacher when I feel a hand squeezing my thigh. When I look to see dd, he says, "Never roll your eyes at me unless you want them stuck back there." I look back at the teacher, but DD whispers, "You say yes when I'm talking to you." I reply, "Yes, whatever." I'll stop rolling my eyes. "Can I pay attention now?" You took my phone, saying I needed to pay attention, but here you are distracting me.
He looks at me in shock before saying, "Keep it up, and you'll be limping to your next class." I don't reply, I just stay looking at the teacher as she talks about some biomes or some shit like that, which I could barely hear because of how loud that light-skinned dude and DD were being. I still never caught his name until the teacher screamed Tyler Meeks and David Reyes. BE QUIET, or I'm going to move your seats.
They don't listen; they were still being loud; they know the teacher is too scared of DD to actually move him because you could tell by how she shudders when she talks to him. It's kind of embarrassing for a teacher to be afraid of a student that much.
Class is finally over and it's lunch dd is forcing me to sit by him and his friends. I grab my hot fries out of my bag and start eating them when this light skin with a ponytail steals the bag I was about to say something when dd said ddot give my girl her chips back before I fuck you up the ddot guy he rolls his eyes before handing me my chips I smile and go back to eating.
I look at dd and ask can I have my phone I say with pleading eyes he says for lunch only I don't say anything he hands me my phone I go on Snapchat and do my streaks and I noticed I had a missed call form Damien. Damien's my boy best friend form my home town. I call him back.

Who the fuck is Damien dd said I reply my boy best friend. Well, I don't want you talking to him anymore. He says, "I say, DD, I barely know you. I've known Damien my whole life. You can't tell me to stop talking to him." "I can and I will," he says, looking pissed. I just stay quiet and look down. He just embarrassed me in front of his whole friend group. Why does he have to yell at me? I just want to go home and cry.
I want to go home; I don't feel well. I say to DD before getting up; he says, "I'll walk you to the office." I say, "I'm fine; you don't have to." He gives me a look, and I just look down again. I start walking, and he's walking next to me. We arrive at the office, and he tells them that I'm not feeling good and that I want to go home before he goes back to lunch.
This is the first time all day he's not by my side. I felt relief. She says I can call a parent or guardian to pick me up. I call my aunt because my mom will scream if she knows I went home early. I tell my aunt I'm not feeling well and ask if she could pick me up and drop me off at home because my mom's at work. That part was true, but my mom, if she wanted to, she could pick me up because she doesn't have a work schedule due to the fact that she's the owner of the company.

I put my phone in my pocket and looked up to see my aunt's car. I get in the car and say hi, TT. She responds, "Hi baby, I say thanks for picking me up." She said you're welcome. What's wrong? Why do you want to come home? I said my stomach hurts, not telling her the full truth.
You wanna get some food, she asks. For sure, I say we end up going to Chick-fil-A and getting spicy chicken sandwiches with no pickles, a coke I, and some fries. When we finally get to my house, I say goodbye by giving her a hug.
I Finnish my food and go to my room I start listen to music and right in my journal before drifting asleep.
