Finally, it's almost Christmas! I should probably get some gifts for everyone though.. I wasn't able to give everyone gifts last year because I forgot. Quickly grabbing a pen and paper from a drawer, I begin listing small gifts for everyone.
For Hu Tao, maybe a butterfly necklace? I saw a pretty cute one at the jewelry store. For Chongyun, maybe some popsicle molds, along with his favorite popsicle recipe! Oo that's perfect!!
Xingqiu probably just wants books, wonder if he's into Manga? I could also buy the newest book at the bookstore that he might like... I feel like Lumine would want a blue cardigan! Shes been wanting a new one for years, though can never find it anywhere for some reason.
I could give Venti something musical themed, or whatnot.. how about.. ugh, I'm gonna have to ask Xiao or Lumine about this one.

As I begin just watching some christmas vlogs on my phone, I hear a knock at the door. Walking over, I swing open the door, seeing Lumine, Hu Tao, Chongyun and Xingqiu.
" Aiyaa!! Finally you opened the door! " Hu Tao pulls me into a tight hug.
" Can't.. breath.. " I'm unable to hug back. Suddenly she let's go, pulling a bag of mora from her bag.
" This is from all of us, plus Zhongli surprizingly.. " Hu Tao continues. " it would take forever giving the mora one by one. " She then plops the bag onto my hand, it was pretty heavy.
" See you! " She waves goodbye, running in the snow, while the rest of the group followed.
That reminds me.. I'm suppose to go gift shopping with Xiao by three, what time is it?? I check the time, closing the door. 2:30. WHAT!!! ITS ALMOST THREE!!!! I GOTTA GET READY!!
I always take so much time fixing and finding out outfit, usually takes me around 40 minutes..
I quickly run into my room, opening and scavenging through my closet. I find a warm sweater, and a cute white layered skirt, never knew I had that... I also put on some warm, black tights. I also decided to use my extremely warm white fluffy jacket, what a mouthful..

I quickly check the time again.
2:45. ALREADY!? HUH!? I grab a hairbrush and do my hair, washing and cleaning my face in the meantime.
After around ten minutes of this, I get another knock at my door.
I'd run downstairs, almost tripping... again. I quickly open the door, Xiao standing there with a cold expression on his face. " Can we go now? " He asks.
" One second, gotta get... my wallet, phone and keys.. OH AND MY BUS TICKETS!! " I'd run back upstairs, grabbing the things I needed. Soon, I run back downstairs, closing the lights, and walking out the door. I lock it, before pulling out my phone.
" I gotta see when this bus is coming, one moment.. " I check. The bus comes at 3, and the bus stop is only a minute away..
" Come on, lets go!! " I start leading the both of us to the bus stop. As we continue walking through the snow, I look over at Xiao, who is behind me.
" Did you bring a bus ticket, and some money? " I ask, making sure. He nods, showing me.
Soon, we reach the bus stop. Right now, it was only 2:57, so we might have to wait there a bit. Both me and Xiao walk into the bus shelter, there wasn't any snow inside. At all.
There was a bench, so I sat down, bringing out my bus tickets. Xiao just standed up, doing the same.
We just sat in silence, with nothing to talk about.
" Xiao, what do you want for Christmas? " I ask. He pauses for a few seconds, before turning to me.
" You. " He smiles a little, seeing my flustered face.
" I like it when you do that. " He turns back around, facing the road.

".. Well, maybe some headphones, or a RWBY Manga, or something like that.. " Suddenly, Xiao spots the bus in the distance.
" There's the bus, get ready. " Xiao steps out of the Shelter, while I do the same.
Hm.. maybe I could get both!
As the bus stops in front of us, we get on. We both hand out tickets over to the bus driver, taking a seat. Suddenly, the bus begins again, it was a bit bumpy. The bus was also empty, well.. there was some other people, and a small family of three.
Xiao felt a little anxious, so I just held his hand. Xiao just looked down the whole ride, while I looked at my phone.
Suddenly, I get a message from the groupchat.
Opening it, it was a little hard to type with one hand, as my other hand was occupied holding Xiao's.

I close my phone, putting it in my pocket. Why did they think we were a couple?
Oh.. I mean, he does act a lot nicer to me then anybody else, but that's only because we were really close friends! I think...
Suddenly, I feel something on my shoulder. I look over to see Xiao sleeping his head on my shoulder, aww how cute!!
I let him sleep on my shoulder awhile, since the rides gonna be awhile. I just stare beyond the window, it was snowing. I guess we're having a white Christmas, woo-hoo!!
After a few more minutes, I see our stop up ahead. I make a stop request, shaking Xiao to wake him up. Once he wakes up, the bus stops. We both get off, thanking the bus driver, before heading off.
" My apologies for.. sleeping on your shoulder like that. " He looks away.
" No no its fine! Plus, seemed like you were sleeping pretty good. " I smile. He just looks at me, before continuing walking.
Finally, we head inside. Many walls were decorated with stores, and christmas decor. A huge tree sat at the front of the entrance, it was gorgeous!
I quickly snap a photo of it on my phone, before we both continue to walk around. I look at my list, while Xiao pulls his out.
" Hm.. let's start with Lumine! " I read over the I was gonna buy for her, a blue cardigan. " I'm gonna get her.. favorite flowers. " Xiao replies. I just show him my list, blocking off the rest of the items on the list.
First, we head to a clothing store, many christmas sweaters are lined by the entrance, though, were not buying any. I quickly spot a blue cardigan with a cinnamonroll print, it was only 500 mora?!
I quickly pick one, making sure to pick medium size. Then, I pay, soon, heading off to a flowers store.
" Hm, I think it's somewhere over here! " I point to a direction, while Xiao walks in front of me.
As we head in, we're attacked by many different scents of flowers, it was nice. We both looked around a bit, it was a little hard finding Lumine's favorite flower, the Inteyvat, it's a bit of a weird name, but she really likes this flower.
Suddenly, Xiao picks up a pot, with a Inteyvat flower in it. He checks the price, before paying. Soon, he walks over to me, the pot in a bag.
" Woah, that was fast! " He smiles, while we continue.
" Okay.. now Hu Tao! Im getting a butterfly necklace for her, how about you? " Xiao pauses for a moment. " I can not think of anything to give to her.. " He crosses his arms.
" Oh alright, then maybe it could be a gift from the both of us! " Soon, we start heading to a jewelry store, they did sell many fancy rings and stuff like that, but they also had a.. cheaper selection.
Soon, we arrive, I start scanning the shelves for a butterfly necklace, and luckily, I find one. With the help of Xiao's approval, we pay. It was around 3,000 mora. Soon, we sit down for a bit, shopping for gifts was tiring..
I check the time. 4:00pm. Hm, after this, we could buy a little something for ourselves.. or not?
" Alright, for Xingqiu, I'm gonna get a book for him! How about you? " I look over at Xiao. " I'll.. get him a book too.. " Soon, we arrive at the bookstore. As we look for books, I find one that Xingqiu might like, so does Xiao.
" Im gonna take a look around here, i might buy a book for myself too! " I start looking in the Manga section, while Xiao looks around on the opposite side of the store. I quickly pick out a RWBY book, quickly paying for my books while Xiao kept looking.
They worker puts both books in a bag, while Xiao looks over at me. He quickly pays too before leaving.
" Hm.. it's hard to find something for Chongyun, so you might not have something in mind.. " I scratch my head. " Well, I'm gonna get some popsicle molds along with his favorite popsicle recipe, could you maybe do the.. recipe part? " I continue. " You're always the one who ends up making his Popsicles, so it might be a good gift for him.
He nods, while we head to.. a store that selled kitchenware. I find a popsicle mold, soon paying and leaving.
" Hey, Xiao, now we gotta get gifts for eachother.. " I look at him.
" Maybe we should split up, then meet back at this spot after, okay? " He nods, before quickly heading upstairs. I quickly go to the dollar store to grab some wrapping paper, gift boxes and a gift bag. Once I pay, I finally head to the last store, the electronics store.
I find some wired headphones, they were black. They were also pretty affordable, so I decided to get it. Finally paying, I leave and head back to our meeting spot. I had a lot of stuff, so it was hard to navigate around, finally, I see Xiao in the distance. I walk over, struggling to hold everything.
" Here, let me help. " He grabs some bags, since he didn't buy much. Soon enough, we had to leave.
As we both finally get on the bus, we both sigh with relief. I'm always the person who gets a lot of gifts for everyone, well.. except last year.

" Hehe, present time!! " Venti smiles, bringing out only some gifts. Soon, we sort out all of our gifts, opening them one by one.

Hu Tao squeals at the necklace I gave her. Hu Tao cried a little, I never seen her cry.. " Thank you Y/N, It's perfect..! " I smile back.
We were all wearing Christmas sweaters, Aether got them all for us, though mines was a little bigger, still comfy though!
Soon, it was just Xiao, me, and Venti who haven't opened their gifts.
" Venti, open yours first! We had to combine our savings to get it! " I smile at him, while he starts opening up the gift. It was in a box. In it, a Lyre was laying in it, waiting to be played. His eyes sparkle, before hugging all of us.
" Thank you everyone! May you all be blessed by the wind! " He smiles, before taking out the Lyre and testing it.
First, Xiao opened his gifts. There was two from me, one from Hu Tao, and one from Ganyu. He firstly opened up Ganyu's, it was a Sweater, a black, comfy one! Then, he opened Hu Tao's, it was a bunch of fresh Almond Tofu, how old even was it..?
Then, he opened mines. There were headphones, which I decorated with black and white stickers, and a RWBY Manga book. His eyes sparkles, before pulling me into a gentle hug.
Wait, doesn't he not like hugs??? HUH??
" Thank you.. I really like it. " He smiles, while everyone's eyes sparkled. I smile at him, before opening my gift up. I did open everyone else's gifts already, but I wanted to save Xiao's for last.
It was huge. In it, there were crystalfly hairclips, a shirt that was originally his, and a teddy bear. It was so adorable, I just had to look over at Xiao.
I pulled his face closer to mines, giving a little kiss on his cheek, his cheeks suddenly glowed bright red, while the rest of us laughed.
How adorable.
Maybe he does like me after all.
" Y-you did not have to do that.. it was just a gift.. " He stutters a little.
" Ahhh.. true love.. " Venti mumbles, still holding his new lyre in hand. Soon, we begin eating. Aether and Lumine prepared some dishes, they even brought their sister, Paimon!
Paimon was very chatty, she was around.. 8 or something. She had a little santa hat on her head, she was also wearing her normal outfit. As we all ate, Xiao kept looking at me.
Suddenly, I remember the promise again.

We gaze into eachothers eyes, while his face slightly turned red, mines was probably a red as a pepper by now.
I could try asking Xiao out one day.

well basically, in my AU, Paimon is Aether and Lumine's sister.
Okay anywaysss.. The reason why they developed feelings this fast for eachother was because Y/N did like him when they were kids, and Xiao did too. They both still liked eachother, even when they stopped talking to eachother. Then, when they started talking to eachother again, their feelings for eachother just grew more and more.
