our first date?
well, we are already out of that hospital. i can breathe fresh air. Hwang hyunjin, he was very fast with all his descisions today. i didn't go against him either....maybe because, i do wanted to get out of these 4 walls
he told me our first destination was a coffee shop, hence we have to eat breakfast. it's been awhile, i should eat cheesecake
hyunjin doesn't look bothered outside. i know, he is trying his best to not worry me. i am expert in reading people afterall
"jinieee, you don't have to do this. you know that right?" jisung was the first to break the silence. it was not awkward silence, they both were silent for different reasons
"you don't want to go on a date with me?" hyunjin was playing around to lighten up the moon
"i didn't mean that" jisung sounded alittle dull
"so this is a date?" hyunjin being himself again
"well, let's call it in that way" jisung wanted to have alittle fun too. ofcourse, there's no time left to waste anyways
"my sungieee, i will treat you the best. we are here, let's have breakfast first" hyunjin was trying to push his negative thoughts aside for now. he just wanted jisung to have his best time whole day.
"i need cheesecake"
"i did order it sungieee"
"huh? how-"
"you never forget to rant about cheesecake sungiee. well, i have noted down every single thing about you. so i can make a good impression on our first date"
"that's very lovely of youuu, jinieee. your future partner is definitely gonna be the luckiest "
hyunjin's face went blank
"did i say something wrong? I'm sorry, i really didn't meant it. hmmm?" jisung started panicking already
"no no... it's just, let's not talk about the future right now. why not, live in the present and make these moments beautiful"
hyunjin was cheerful again
"i will bring the breakfast "
once hyunjin was out of jisung's view, his eyes have already wandered out of the shop. he knew, what hyunjin was referring to. well, jisung didn't wanted to give any false hopes
the coffee shop was very pretty and cozy. there were not many people, it's working day afterall.
he misses his regular coffee shop now, where he and Minho hyung always used to meet up. maybe, Minho hyung must be always going there...but with someone else
jisung will never move on....
and every second he proves it again.....
their second destination was an arcade. it's been so long since jisung have ever gone there. he always used to go there with iniee and seungmin....ever since they went abroad, he didn't go either
jisung felt like a child again...
he was free, he could do anything....
hyunjin was just letting him to have fun
jisung had already tried few times to shoot few balls, while he couldn't get what he wanted. he was already out of breath by now
hence hyunjin took over his place and shot within his second try and won a cute squirrel plushie
"you do resembles this cute plushie"
"everyone always tell me that.... because of this chubby cheeks right? i was ashamed at first, but then gradually started finding it cute too" jisung was feeling delighted
"you are really cute, sungiee" with that said, hyunjin have clicked a picture of Jisung who was now embracing that little one
well who was jisung, he just put out few poses and took over the camera. now they both were taking random poses all together
they were getting some weird glances... but are they gonna mind it? nahh, it's their time to enjoy every single moment
time do fly, when you are having fun
It was nearing evening already. the evening sun cast long shadows on the ground. the slanting rays of the setting sun gave a warm orange tinge to the sky.
in between, they had a proper meal which jisung enjoyed too much. it's been awhile yk
after that, they spend their time by walking through a garden. jisung couldn't walk that much, he will eventually run out of breath once in awhile
hence they are now settled down in a bench
the night sky was aglow with bright city lights.
it was very gorgeous view.... jisung couldn't miss that view, so he clicked few pictures along with hyunjin's too
"you are really beautiful hyunjinaah" jisung said truthfully
"i still remember our first meet. eventhough it has not been long that much."
"i do remember it. the first thing i noticed was your eyes. they held alot of pain... ever since then, i wanted to be there for you. i didn't wanted to know about your disease either. i did guessed that it was something serious by the fact that doctors were always behind you" by now, hyunjin just wanted to let him know that how much he means to him
"but i failed at controlling my heart....more like i didn't even try controlling it"
"you are a pretty boy with big heart. the fact, you are always ready to be hurted so your loved ones could stay happy. i have never met someone like you jisungieee"
"i can only pray to God and can't do anything to help you at all" hyunjin was now tearing up
"don't cry, hyunjinaah. you have done so much for me. i should be the one thanking you"
"thank you for always staying behind with me and listening to my rants. my first ever descision was to not get close with anyone when i reached the hospital. well look at us, cuddling eachother on public park"
hyunjin just chuckled
"on a serious note, i know your feelings hyunjin. but you know my life, well 2 more days. just promise me one thing that you will move on, for me"
"don't hang on to the past...hmm?"
"i'm really sorry for dragging you into this mess" jisung couldn't mask his feelings either
"it was a beautiful mess jisungieee"
"it's getting colder, wear this jacket and let's go to the hospital. you have to take the medications too"
"okay okayyy....well can you help me with one last thing" this was jisung's first request too...till now, it was all hyunjin's decisions
"ofcourse, i am all here for you"
"once i am away....i will give you few letters, can you please give that to my friends "
hyunjin didn't wanted to accept the reality, even with his heart breaking inside, he promised
