Rose's eyes widened as she stared at the Goblet, then her eyes followed Scorpius's back as he walked out of the hall. She looked up at Aleks. "I'll be right back," she murmured before following Scorpius out of the hall. "Scorp, wait!"

Scorpius's footsteps sped up as he heard her following him. The last thing he wanted to do was talk to her. The thought of being so near to her and not being able to hold her hurt his heart, but it was his fault. His fault for leading Jessica on, his fault for letting Rose find someone else.
When Rose caught up to him, he forced himself to stop and turn to her. "What do you want, Weasley?"
"I-I just thought you weren't putting your name in? What made you change your mind?" She asked, looking at the ground as she played with her fingers.
"I never said I wasn't. You just assumed that I would do what you wanted, even though you can't stand the mere sight of me."
Rose sighed and nodded. "Just, try to be safe? Please? Good luck." She kissed his cheek and walked away.
Scorpius sighed and made his way down to the library to get a book about the Triwizard Tournament.

AsRose walked down the hall, she couldn't help but think about how cold Scorpius had been to her. She thought he loved her, but apparently not. She shook her head and went to go find Aleks.
"Where did you go?" She heard the thick Bulgarian accent behind her as she maneuvered the corridors of Beauxbatons.
"Just for a walk to calm down. I didn't think you would enter," Rose said, turning to face him.
"Why wouldn't I? I mean, it is a chance to impress the girl I like." He smiled at her, reaching down to grab her hands.
"You like me...?" She asked hesitantly. "But, I thought you only wanted to get back at your ex..."
"Originally, that was the plan, yes. But, you were so kind and sweet, I realized that I liked you genuinely."
Rose blushed and looked down, but Aleks tilted her face up and kissed her gently. She was surprised to find herself kissing back.
Eventually, after walking around the large castle (with a few stops to snog in a broom closet or dark corner) Aleks and Rose came to a stop outside of the door leading to the Hogwarts Head Boy and Girl common room.
"So..." Rose began, awkwardly staring at the floor.
"Would you like to go on a date with me?" Aleks asked nervously. "There's a small village just down the road from the castle, much like the one near Hogwarts, I'm told. I was thinking tomorrow night, at maybe, six o'clock?"
She smiled and nodded. "I'd like that, yes."
"Great. I'll see you tomorrow." He kissed her softly, but the kiss turned passionate.
"Mind not snogging in front of the door?" Scorpius said dryly, causing the two to jump apart. "Thanks." He glared at the two of them before walking into the common room, his arms full of books.
Rose and Aleks said goodnight before Aleks walked down the hall and Rose followed Scorpius.
"What is your problem?" Rose growled at Scorpius.
"He is my problem." Scorpius shrugged simply.
"Why? What has he ever done to you?"
"He stole you from me," Scorpius growled, moving closer.
"He didn't steal you, you gave me up. Look, Scorpius, I don't want to fight."
"Neither do I."
"Maybe, if you get your shite together, you still have a chance, but that's a maybe." She kissed his cheek and went up to bed.
Scorpius stayed in the common room for a while, contemplating her words. Eventually, he fell asleep on the couch.

Seven days passed and Scorpius and Rose barely talked. Scorpius was busy with trying to figure out the First Task in case he was the chosen Champion for Hogwarts, and Rose was busy snogging Aleks any chance she could get.
Rose and Aleks had gone on their date and made their relationship official. Rose was ecstatic, but a large part of her wished it was Scorpius that she was constantly kissing.
On the third night of Scorpius and Rose not speaking, Scorpius walked into the common room and saw Rose and Aleks on the couch, shirtless. He walked up to his bedroom and slammed the door.
On the seventh night, there was a feast, at which the Goblet Of Fire would spit out the names of the three Champions. Scorpius nervously sat in the Great Hall, running a hand through his hair every five seconds. He looked up from his plate as Rose sat next to him. "What are you doing? Aren't you supposed to be shagging your boyfriend?"
Rose seemed to ignore his last comment. "I came to say good luck. I know you're nervous."
Scorpius shook his head. "I'm not nervous," he lied.
"Right." Rose rolled her eyes before standing, saying a last "Good luck," to him, and leaving.
As the headmistress stood to speak, Scorpius started to think of all the ways he could die, only drawn out of his thoughts by his name being called. He looked around and saw everyone staring at him as he stood and walked into the designated room.
Scorpius glared as Aleks joined him, then looked away as a blonde haired girl followed.

Rose froze as the two boys-that her heart was torn between-left the Hall. She knew that one of them would be picked, but she didn't think both would. As soon as he left the room Rose caught up to Scorpius and pulled him to a secluded area before hugging him tightly. "Please don't get hurt," she whispered in his ear.
"I didn't think you cared..." he whispered back.
"Of course I care... I- I love you..." She bit her lip and pulled back slightly to look at her, and suddenly, he was kissing her, and she was kissing him, and it felt so right, but so wrong at the same time.
"Scorpius, I can't," she whispered as she pulled away. "I'm seeing Aleks..."
"To hell with him," he whispered, trying to reconnect their lips, but she pushed him away.
"Wait until I break it off with him, and then we can be together."
Scorpius nodded and stepped away. He waited outside the common room as she talked to him inside. He was happy that she was going to break up with Aleks, but it didn't happen.

"Rose, I love you," Aleks said, staring into the redhead's eyes. He smiled at her, cupping her cheek
"Aleks, I.... I love you too," she whispered. She couldn't do it, she couldn't hurt him. She'd just have to explain it to Scorpius later. But it was too late.
Scorpius stormed in, glaring at them. "She doesn't mean that, y'know. She doesn't love you."
"What're you on about, Malfoy?" Aleks asked.
"She told me just twenty minutes ago that she loved me, while we were snogging, actually."
"I doubt that."
"You doubt it? Your girlfriend is a slut, Krum." The words were out before Scorpius could stop them, and before he could take them back, Rose had jumped up.
"Get out, Malfoy," she said calmly.
"Rose, I didn't mean it."
"I said, get out!" She screamed. Magic was visibly radiating off of her and before any of them knew what was happening, Scorpius had been thrown across the room. He hit his head on the wall and blacked out.

So Guys, I know it's been a while since I updated, but I've been busy with school and work and I also haven't had the inspiration. Hopefully I'll be writing more this summer.
A few of you may be wondering why I didn't really use Aleks' accent, and it's mostly because it's 1:00 AM and I'm tired.
The song for this chapter is The Punk Goes Pop cover of Little Lion Man by Mumford And Sons (Cover by Tonight Alive) because I feel like it fits Scorpius' attitude and I personally like the punk version better.
