Bomi chuckled at his response as Reina leaned over to see who she was texting. A smile on her face once she read the contact name. It was a heart reliever to see her friend smile so much now after everything that has happened to her.
"You like him a lot."
"Mm yeah, I do."
Bomi laid her head on Reina's shoulder as she continued texting Jaemin. Her heart fluttered at his snarky sarcastic jokes he made. He definitely had a sense of humor, but it made her laugh nonetheless.
"Have you told him?"
"About the interview?"
"Yes."
"Mhm. He said he's happy for me." Bomi smiled ear to ear like a child getting her first toy. Reina ruffled the girls hair in response. "I'm happy for you too. Seeing you happy is what makes me happy." Reina said, earning a chuckle from Bomi.
"You sound like your mom." Bomi said. "Reiki tells me that a lot, i'm starting to think that too."
Reina scoffed. "I know Ryo's asked this already, but do you miss Japan?" Bomi asked her, putting her phone down as Reina hummed.
"I miss my Mom. Some memories, the park we all went to after middle school. Summer, cleaning up classrooms when we got in trouble." Reina started off, Bomi smiled. "Those Soba noodles by the Aki's house." Bomi said for her as Reina hummed.
"Those were the best after school." the two girls reminisced the memories of their teen years before Bomi and Jiae had moved away. "Mrs. Aki's fresh Yakitori.." Reina mumbled, her mouth watering at the thought of the food. "She makes it the best."
"She does.."
"You know..if we do get signed, lets go back. Just for a weekend." Reina suggested. She could see Bomi's eyes light up at the thought. "Seriously?" she mumbled. "Seriously. We can go either way— which ever way it goes." Reina said.
"I love it. We can go."
Reina smiled, Bomi's confirmation was all she needed.

"Welcome! It's nice to see you all!"
The five were as nervous as ever. "It's nice to see you too!" they spoke in unison, following the suited lady into an empty meeting room. They all sat after Bomi, their eyes on her as she played with her fingers.
"I'm Mrs. Han, the recruiting manager of SM Entertainment! I've heard a lot about you guys from outside and inside voices." Mrs. Han smiled sweetly at them. "Inside..voices?" Bomi repeated after the older woman as she hummed.
"We've been watching you guys for three years— I hope that doesn't sound creepy, but a good idol under us told us a lot about you guys." she said, handing Bomi a thin piece of paper as her eyes read the name at the top.
"He said he loved seeing you guys preform, even when you just started. He's mentioned you guys quite a few times, even to our producers. Cute isn't?" Mrs. Han chuckled, watching Bomi shakingly pass the paper over to her friends.
"Seojoon?" Reiki mumbled, his eyes scanning his profile. "Jung Seojoon. He said he wanted us to see for ourselves you guys are and to not just take his word for it. There's a lot of other things we want to talk about..but that'll just be for today."
"Are you guys only thinking of recruiting us because of him?" Bomi asked, staring into Mrs. Han's eyes as the woman shook her head. "No, Ms. Bomi, we had plenty of people— even myself say you guys are phenomenal. Yes, Seojoon introduced us to you guys, but we made the choice ourselves."
"Again, that'll be all for today. I'll give you another call. It was nice to see you all for a brief amount of time, next time I hope we'll be signing papers together." the older woman stood up from her chair and soon made herself up.
Once the door closed, Jiae and Tora quietly cheered together. Reiki shook his head in disbelief before shaking Reina's shoulders as she smiled at him. Bomi still genuinely couldn't believe it. She didn't even know Seojoon talked about her and her friends.
For three straight years, they knew about her band.
"We should go out to eat!"
"Tora, you're always thinking about food.."
"Well who's going to feed this hungry tiger then? Exactly, Reiki." Tora glared at her older brother while he rolled his eyes. "I just realized..Tora is the same age as you three when we first started the band." Jiae said, pointing at Reina, Reiki and Bomi.
"Oh yeah..take me back! I miss my last teen year!" Reiki said, his twenty-two year old self crying as Reina laughed. Bomi let out a chuckle before leading them out the meeting room. "We should find a really good japanese restaurant for dinner." Jiae said, looking at her friends as Reina and Bomi spared a glance at each other.
"What about actually going there?" Reina said, turning back as the Aki siblings and Jiae had stopped mid-walk, staring at the oldest out of the group in surprise. Surprised that she even suggested the idea.
Their eyes then simultaneously averted towards Bomi who had no opposition to say.
"Wait what—"
"Yes! Hot milf cooking!"
"Hideko..please leave Tora and I's mom alone.."
"Am I wrong, Reina?" Jiae turned to her as she laughed. "Nope!" she said, watching her boyfriend's jaw drop. "Babe.." Reiki muttered out before Reina held his arm and leaned her head on his shoulder as they continued walking out of the building.
"Hot mom made such a cute son, thanking Mr. Aki for not pulling out."
"Ew..don't put it like that, Reina."
"Reiki, that's literally what you said about my parents.."
"Mrs. Hirota is a very fine woman for her age."
