Sunday Morning
my baby hit one week old today . my labor was difficult but i got it done and got to see my baby and thats all that matters .
my mom and laila came through and stayed with me as i delivered so i was okay but i just wished shawn was there . like nigga this yo baby how can uu just up and leave ? whea uu go ?
someone starts knocking at my door . i wasnt expecting visitors so i picked up my phone and checked my notifications to see if anyone had texted me but no notifications .
i laid kayden in his bassinet before going towards the door after hearing another knock . "who is it ??" i called out .
"me" a familiar voiced boomed from the other side of the door . i peeped through the peep hole and seen who it was . bj . what the fuck he want ?
i open the door to reveal myself in a super big shirt , pink pajama pants , silk bonnet , and newly bought slippers since my old favorite pink ones got a lil old .
i "hey bj , uhh .. shawns not here ." i said as he moved me to the side just letting himself in .
"im not looking for shawn ."
"so then why are you here ?"
"because" he says as he enters my kitchen cabinets . oh he's high so he got the munchies . "bj . look at me ." i said sternly , placing my fists on my hip like an angry mom .
"holdup" he said reaching towards my snack cabinet .
"i SAID look . at . me ."
he turned and faced me quickly before he could open my stash cabinet . his brown eyes hung low and red .
i walked up to him , smelling the strong scent of marijuana . "yea ur definitely high as fuck" i laugh while moving him and going into my stash , handing him a box of snacks .
"thank uu sis" he laughed before ripping open the box and eating the donuts.
"now what uu come hea for for real ? i know yeen just come to eat all my shit now ." i asked him .
"aw yea .. shawn in jail ." he said so smoothly like it was nothing , still chewin on the donuts
"what ??"
"yea nigga in there for murder"
"HUH ??" i chocked on my spit . what did he say ? am i hearing him right ??

"yea they came to the block and snatched him up in fronna me sayin he in for murder . he told me not to tell uu but i didnt want uu mad at me nomo"
i looked away and didnt know what to say to him . i mean he told me but he kept it from me too so its like can i really not be mad at this moment ?
"how long has he been in ." i ask , still not making eye contact with him because im about to cry .
"this happened like 2 tuesdays ago so 2 weeks on tuesday . whea da baby at ??"
i rolled my eyes at his high ass completely changing the subject . "he's over here in his bassinet ." i said going over to kayden .
"before uu touch him wash your hands and put sanitizer on ." i directed him . bj nodded and went to go do what i said . after a few minutes he came back and held his arms out .
"bj if uu drop my fucking baby i swear to god imma kill uu" i told him as i handed him a sleeping kayden .
"girl i kno how to hold babies i been raisin kids since i was 12 shordy ." he rolled his eyes .
"the fuck that mean ?" i scrunched my face up .
"i got 2 siblings that i had to take care of because my mom was always bustin her ass trynna feed us ." he looked at kayden and just rocked him while rubbing his tiny cheek .
"he's the literal copy of ma boa ." he said and chuckled .
"yes for real like he aint get nunna my features ." i agreed while smiling .
"well he got yo big ass head "
"no thats shawns fat ass head" i laughed .
we sat down on the couch and caught up with each other since we havent been in touch for obvious reasons .
"ight sis well im finna bounce , imma hitchu up later , love gang " bj said as he walked to the door and exited ."love" i said , getting up locking the door behind him . i grabbed kayden and went upstairs .
i laid kayden down in his bassinet as he slept and opened my phone and seen notifications from monti . i went to our messages and read through them .

i locked my phone and began straightening up my apartment before he came over . a good 30 minutes later i heard a knock at the door . "who is it ?!" i yelled from the kitchen , cleaning the last dish . "monti"
i finished up and dried my hands off before going to the door and letting him in . "heyy" i smiled . "wassup ma how uu been ?"
"ive been great .. kayden is a handful though ." i talked as i swept the kitchen floor . "can i see li mans ?"
"yea but wash yo hands n stuff and then after , we need to talk "

he went upstairs into my room and i finished up the kitchen , going behind him . "foo didnt i tell uu to wash yo hands" i came into the room and seen him sitting on the bed .
"ma i was waiting on you" he chuckled and went to the bathroom to wash his hands . after he finished he came back in my room and went to the bassinet .
"heyy li mans" he said while picking him up . "uu wanted to talk ?"
"yea .. i just found out he in jail .."
"who in jail ?" he asked still looking at kayden .
"my bd"
"so whatchu finna do ?"
"monti he's in there for fucking murder !" i expressed with my hands while talking .
"okay kaycei and im asking uu what uu finna do ? like i dont wanna be in the middle of all this if it aint necessary" he tried saying calmly .
" i dont know monti "
"whatchu mean ? uu gotta make up yo mind soon man . its either him or me . if its him ill leave uu alone , but if its me ill stay and help uu out ."
he continued cradling kayden , kissing him on his cheek as he slept peacefully in his arms . to be honest they both looked so cute together but im knowin shawn's gonna be mad if he finds out im lettin another nigga baby his baby .
"hmm" i said holding my hands out , indicating i wanted kayden .
he got up and handed me kayden , placing a kiss on my lips . "ma i want uu to really think about this tonight" he kisses me again . "ill come back over tomorrow to take uu and baby out somewhere but imma need an answer over lunch ."
"okay .." i trailed off , thinkin about it already made me want to ball up in my bed and just cry .
"for real whichever one uu pick ill b ight with it kaycei .. i love uu" he exits my room and heads downstairs . i hear the door open and shut back .
i put kayden down in his bassinet and headed downstairs to lock the door . after i hooked my phone to my speaker and played my favorite r&b songs .
i sat down on the couch and really started thinking . i didnt kno who i wanted for real .
shawn really hasnt done anything wrong to me so why should i choose monti over him ? but then again before shawn found out i was pregnant he didnt give a fuck in the world .. i mean we werent together but he was fucking me AND other bitches .

"heyy boo , uu trynna come over tonight ? im so lonely and in my feelings girl ."
"yea i can definitely make way . AYY KYLE !! TELL KYLE COME HERE ! " she yelled looking at someone wherever she was .

"studio ... kyle can uu please move my videoshoot to friday instead ?"

she hangs up and i go upstairs and get kayden , turning the music down . i came back downstairs and sat him in his baby swing and put his blanket over him , turning the swing on .
after getting him situated , i decided to just listen to music and scroll through my phone until she gets here .
