The day seems slow. Most of your classes for today don't have Akane or Rantaro-- and given that they're both fairly popular people, they're often swarmed even if they don't make the effort to find you. You take the opportunity to observe them as an outsider-- and it's quite fascinating, you find.
When it comes to interacting with others, both Rantaro and Akane have similar patterns. A shout of 'Minami' or 'Rantaro' is followed up with a near-imperceptible twitch of the eye, before a wide grin swallows their face. Warm, but not the same as always. You are not stupid, and you are not blind...but it is easier to look away than to think about it too much. There is a sort of dichotomy in the way they act with an outsider and with you; rather than bothering you, that difference seemed to please you.
You'd found yourself in a place with a lot of strange people-- though, you suppose that's what you get in a place for either the super-smart or the super-rich. Both types are often full of their own eccentricities, more bad than good.
More bad than good...critising people for that would be downright hypocritical, wouldn't it? You're not the sweetest person either-- far from it, really. You know you can be a right bitch at times, and it's been said to you plenty of times. Some people are better than others. Some people are better than others; some people are warm and kind and loved, and some people are you.
