Everyone was so happy with the news of Rameen being pregnant.

Masooma called haleema

Haleema came towards Masooma
Masooma took out a bundle of 1000 notes and passed it to Haleema.

Nodding her head Haleema went away
Here everyone is taking care of Rameen
"Puttar, dekh meine tere liye strawberry ka milkshake laya hoon."
Being Punjabi, yusra always had a different way of pronouncing English words and here it happenedd the same
With an irritated look, Rameen said
"Amma, mene apko kitni baar bola. Agar pronunciation nahi hota toh mat bola kare."
"Toh phir puttar is de nal maine ki kehta?"
"Kuch bhi bula ley lekin galat pronounce na liya kare."
"Haye, puttar tera condition yeh na hota toh Allah di kasme meine idhar e tujhe chapper thok dena tha."
With that, Yusra went away
Rameen put her palm on top of her non-existing bump.
"Baby, mujse aur wait ho raha ap jaldi ajao."
6 months later,
In London,
"Yaar Amma, samaj a gaya. Aur kitni dafa ek hi baat ko repeat karengi ap?"
"Puttar tujhe kaha yad rehta hain aj kaal."
"Amma, itni bhi bhullakkar nahi hoon."
"Acha, woh sab chadh, meine yeh bata ghar baki log kaise hain?"
"Alhamdulillah Amma sab ache hain."
"Acha puttar apna dhyan rakhna. Mein badme tujhe call milatu hoon."
With that yusra cut off the call
Rameen lay her back on the bed and started to talk to her 6 month old bump
"Baby, apke baba kab ayenge? Mein na unko bohat sara miss kar rahi hoon."
Suddenly she heard
"Baby k kyon complaint deh rahi ho?"
"Kyun ap key hamare liye time kaha hota hain? Pata hain baby apse gussa hain."
Aariz took off his blazer and said
"Really?"
Rameen nodded her head
"Thik hain mein khud puch leti hoon, kih baby baba sey naraj kyun hain?"
Aariz came close and sat beside rameen slightly putting his palm on top of Rameen's baby bump
"Baby, mama bol rahi hain ap mujse naraz ho?"
The baby didn't make any movement, Rameen's face turned down cause she was missing Aariz way too much so she used the baby's name.
"I'm sorry to both baby and mama. I know mein aplogo ko thik sey time nahi dey raha hoon promise from today no overtime. Only baby and mama time with baba."
As soon as Aariz said that, the baby kicked twice indicating as if the baby understood everything.
Aariz pecked Rameen's tummy twice and on her lip once.
Rameen layer her head on Aariz's shoulder
"Apko kya lagta hain?"
"Kya?"
"Hamara baby boy hoga ya girl?"
"Woh to after 3 months pata chalega."
"Acha agar boy hua to baby ko hum Armaan bullayenge aur agar girl huyi toh-"
Aariz cut her off by saying
"Armeen Khan."
Rameen smiled and nodded her head
3 Months later,
"RIZ!! MERA HAAT PAKRE!!"
Meen screamed at the birth-giving table inside the birth-giving ward
Here Aariz was all worried and panicked watching his love suffering
He let Rameen hold his hand and
3! 2! 1!
Aariz let out a loud scream cause apparently Rameen dugged her sharp nails into his palm
"Kya kar rahi ho!"
Rameen who was already in pain screamed at him
"AKHE HAIN YA TEECH BUTTON! DIKH NAHI RAHA KYA KAR RAHI HOON!"
And that scream literally shaked the soul out of Aariz
With a scared voice Aariz asked
"My love-"
"DUR FITTE MUH! LANAT BHEJ TI HOON APKO AUR APKI ANGREZI KO! YAHA MERI JAAN JA RAHI HAIN! AUR KHAN SAHAB KAHI AUR HI GHOOM HAIN! SAKAL GHUM KARE ABHI KEY ABHI!"
Aariz ran out of the to save his life from his wife who is ready to peel him alive.
After approximately 5 hours,
A loud cry of a baby was heard. He looked at the ward to see a nurse coming out carrying a little baby wrapped in a light pink cotton cloth.
The nurse came close to him and said
"Congratulations! It's a baby girl. Your wife is alright currently just passed out due to exhaustion. Soon she will be shifted to her room."
With that she, handed over the fragile baby into his big arms.
Tears filled up his eyes.
"Our Armeen"
Fast forward,
7 years later,
"Riz! Meine apko kinti dafa kaha hain kih gile towel bed pey na rakha kare."
"Sorry yaar! Bhul gaya tha."
With that Aariz picked up the towel
"Aur ek kaam karde, armeen ko sula dey kal school bhi jana hain usse."
Aariz nodded his head and went towards their daughter's room to make her sleep
While rameen took out the letter given by her dadajaan
And layed on the couch of their balcony
After making their sleep, Aariz saw his begum laying on the couch and staring at the stars
He sat beside her and wrapped his hand around her shoulder finding Aariz around her Rameen placed her head on top of Aariz chest
"Kya hua?"
"Kuch nahi baas dadajaan ki yaad arahi thi."
"Samaj aya?"
"Hmm."
Aariz was aware about the letter given by her dadajaan
"I love you."
Rameen said
Placing a small kiss on top of her hairline, Aariz replied
"I love you too."
Two people staring at the moon passed their night.
