As I'm just chilling in my bed, home alone once again, suddenly, my phone blows up with notifications. What the hell are they talking about this time!?
I pull out my phone, checking out all the commotion.

5:45? Right now it's around.. five, I'll just get ready now. I quickly check the weather on my phone, 5°C, a little warmer then yesterday.
As I look through my closet, I find an outfit I could peice together. I put on a black shirt, a brown thin jacket, and a jean skirt. I even decided to bring some headphones. I also put on some black knee high socks, I also put on some warm leg warmers.

I quickly fix my hair, though I don't put in to much effort, it still looks amazing. I quickly check my phone again, 5:20. Okay, let me just find my wallet and keys..
I quickly find a small bag to put my keys, phone, and wallet in all safe. Should I go early? Suddenly I hear a knock at my door. Quickly, I run downstairs, this time, I didn't fall. " Coming! " I yell out, running to the door.
As I swing the door open, I see.. Xiao? " Xiao, what are you doing here? " I ask, while looking at his outfit. " I.. didn't know where Hu Tao's street was, or where the cafe was located, and I wanted to ask you for help.. " He looks away in embarrestment. " Oh alright! It's around a 10 minute walk from my house, come on, let's go! " I quickly shut, and lock the front door, trying to remember which direction was her street.
" I think it's over.. here! " I gesture him to follow. " You think? " He questions. " Don't ask question, come on!! " Soon, we start walking together. I felt a little awkward, since haven't talked for awhile.
We past by some children playing, they wave at us, so I wave back. Xiao doesn't, and just continues. " Xiao, you brought your money, right? " I ask, looking over my shoulder. He just gives a simple nod before looking away.
Suddenly we hear a noise from behind us, Xiao quickly grabs my hand, looking around him and I.
" Boo!! " Suddenly someone steps away from a bush, standing in front of us. " Venti? Why were you trying to scare us? " I ask, a little disappointed.
" Ahhh.. I just wanted to see how our two love birds were doing! " He scratches his head. " Shut the fuck up. " Xiao replies. " Xiao no... " I manage to say. " Well.. I'll just walk with you two for a little!! " He starts to follow behind the two of us, while Xiao let's go of my hand.
Suddenly, I hear someone playing a Lyre. " Venti, don't tell me you brought.. " I look over my shoulder to see Venti playing his Lyre. " What? Isn't it nice though?~ ?? " He questions.
" .. I suppose, I enjoy it. " Xiao says. " Oh!! Alright then I'll continue! " Venti continues to play his Lyre, while I just continued walking. " Venti, I have a question. " I ask, not turning around at all. " Hmm? Is this about my love life? "
" How'd you know? " I ask.
" The wind told me! " He replies. The wind? How? Then again, Kazuha, a classmate, can sense things with the wind..
Then again, that's still weird..
" Ehe-- well, I really like someone. " Venti giggles. " Wait, who?? " I gasp, turning around to face both Xiao and Venti. " Lumine. " He smiles, while I stop, causing them to stop aswell.
" Lumine!? I knew it! " I jump up and down. " Ah, well, do you know if she likes me back? " He asks shyly.
" Well, she sure does act like it. " I smile. Xiao checks his phone, before turning to us. " It's 5:40. " He quickly stores his phone back in his pocket.
" HOW'S IT 5:40 ALREADY!? " I start running, were about two minutes away from her street, and the Cat Cafe, I think..
Venti waved goodbye to us, before walking another direction.
Xiao starts running with me, now, were running our asses off. Xiao easily ran faster then me, however he ran at a pace I could also run at, since he had no idea where the cafe was located. Soon enough, in the distance, Lumine, Hu Tao, Chongyun and Xingqiu wave at us.
" Come on Xiaoo!!! " I yell, running over to them. Xiao was quick to run past me.
Finally, we all arrive. " Aiyaaa, I'm so excited already!! The cats.. ohhh so fun!! " Hu Tao gives a cheeky smile to everyone. Finally, we all walk in, suddenly getting swarmed with cats, suddenly though, they all return to their spots, while some woman greeted us. " Seems like the cats here love you already! Or, maybe someone in your group? " She chuckles, before returning behind the counter up ahead.
We find a huge table, allowing all of us to sit at, I sat beside Xiao, while Lumine sat beside Hu Tao across from us. Beside our table, Chongyun and Xingqiu sat beside eachother. " You guys, I'm gonna order for all of us. What does everyone want? I'll write it down on a sticky note to remember. " Lumine stands up, grabbing a sticky note, and a pencil.
" I'm gonna get a macaroon, and a cappuccino! " Hu Tao smiles.
" I'll just get a espresso. " Xingqiu replies.
" I'll get a iced coffee, and.. cake, you can pick. " Chongyun rests his hands on his lap.
" I'll get cake, pick my favorite! Oh, and a latte. " I finally decide.
" I just want a expresso, and a croissant. " Xiao crosses his arms.
" Alright! Now, you guys just gotta pay up for each of your meals, then I'll go order for all of us! " Lumine brings out a hand, waiting for the money. We'd all take a glace at the menu, before giving the right amount of money for each of our meals. " Alrightt.. I'll go order now! " Lumine starts walking over to the counter, listing everything we planned to order, and hers, too.
As we're waiting, cats begin to become curious of us, while some other cats slept. Suddenly, a cat walks closer to Xiao, going on his lap. Xiao's eyes light up, as he tries to figure out how to pet the little cat. Xiao softly pets the cat, while the cat snuggles on his lap. Aww.. how adorable!!
I look over to him, while his eyes continue to sparkle, he was always a huge cat person, even when we were children. Xiao looks over to me, forming a smile, he really enjoyed this. Hu Tao smiled at how wholesome Xiao was acting at the moment.
You know, Xiao always acted cold, but, right now, he's acting so.. gentle. At that moment my face heats up a little. Hu Tao quickly noticed this, because she started giggling, pretty quiet. I shot Hu Tao a death stare, before continuing to focus on the cat on Xiao's lap. The cat yawns, before leaping onto a empty table.
Xiao smiles, however he notice both me and Hu Tao chucking at the sight, so he just looks away from us in embarrestment. Suddenly, lumine comes back with some of our orders, while a waitress helped her deliver all the orders at once. Lumine thanks the waitress, before sitting back down.
" Phew, that took awhile.. though I got to pet some cats while I was waiting! " She laughs, before she begins to drink her iced coffee. I start to dig into my cake, which was my favorite, F/C. Xiao also begins to drink his expresso, while staring at nearby cats. Hu Tao starts eating her macaroon, they were strawberry flavored.
" Xingqiu, look.. I do like you. " We hear Chongyun confess his feelings from afar. " Oh..? Well, honestly, I feel the same way.. " Xingqiu begins to hold Chongyun's hand, they look at eachother with love in their eyes. " Omg.. it's happening! " I whisper to Lumine and Hu Tao, while Xiao just watches in confusion.

I stare at the two looking at eachother with.. some emotion in their eyes, while Y/N, Hu Tao, and Lumine watch excitedly. I do not understand this, however, I'm still curious.
As the two softly.. kiss? The others all have sparkles in their eyes, while I still stand there confused. The people working there also saw, smiling. " Y/N, what are they doing..? " I whisper to Y/N, while cats began to circle those two. " Ah, well, since they love eachother, their kissing. " Y/N turns to me. " Love..? " I ask, confused.
" Love is when you feel this almost.. uh.. okay, when you know you love someone, their hearts beat faster, and they become all nervous, or in some other cases, they have this sudden urge to protect the other person. If the other person loves them to, they could become.. a couple, and they could.. " She pauses, while her face had a slight red tint to it.
As the two backed away from eachother, they continue eating, while holding eachothers hand.. lovingly. Y/N, before continuing eating. Y/N, however still had a smile on her face. I began to look at the cats who had circled them go back to where they were before.
Oh, so that is what love is. I remember I.. used to feel that feeling when Y/N and I were little, I made some sort of promise to her, though, I can not recall it right now..

I continue to snack on my cake, soon drinking some of my latte. Ugh, I feel like lumine really likes Venti!!
Suddenly, a cat leaps onto my lap this time. I'm not to sure how to pet them, so I turn to Xiao. " Uhm, Xiao.. could you tell me where I could pet them..? " I question him. He nods, before softly taking a hold of my arm, guiding my hand. I felt my body feel warmer by the second, am I in a wattpad story right now!? Sure does feel like it!!
Xiao smiles at the cat, continuing to guide my hand. " Remember, pet it here. " He continues guiding my hand. " Thanks, Xiao! " I smile at him, finally petting the cat.
The cat closed its eyes, loving the sensation of being patted. Xiao continues to stare at the cat on my lap, while Lumine and Hu Tao had a suspicious look on their face.
As we all finish our food, we stack our dishes at our tables. We decide to stay a little longer, the cats were adorable. Xiao went out of his seat, patiently waiting for a cat to come over to him. Xingqiu and Chongyun pet a cat who came on their table. Hu Tao and Lumine played with some of the cats at the other side of the cafe, since nobody else was there at the moment.
Lumine brings her phone out, taking a couple photos before putting her phone away. Rightt.. I forgot Venti couldn't come.
As a cat comes over to Xiao, I watch. As Xiao plays with a cat, I pull out my phone, quickly going into my camera app. As soon as I make sure my flash is off, I snap a photo of Xiao and the cat, I plan to show him before we leave.
" You guys, you wanna take a group photo? " Hu Tao brings out an old Kamera, surprizingly, it still worked. We all agreed, as we all sat at a table. Hu Tao quickly walked over to a waitress, soon handing her Kamera.
The waitress walked over to us, avoiding the cats in her way. " Are you guys ready? " She asks, while Hu Tao quickly joins in on the picture. Xingqiu and Chongyun were holding eachothers hands, Lumine was holding up the peace sign, while Hu Tao waved her hands around, trying to not block anybody faces in the process. Xiao was crossing his arms, trying his best to keep his face out of the photo. " Pst, come on, show a little smile! " I whisper to Xiao.
Suddenly, a cat joins in on the picture, allowing Xiao to smile, only a little. I striked a pose. " I think we're ready now. " Xingqiu rests a hand on his waist. The waitress quickly turned the flash off the Kamera, before snapping a photo. She handed the photo to us, soon also giving the kamera back to Hu Tao.
The photo was still black, looked like it didn't clear yet.
Suddenly, it clears up, revealing all of us. We all look at it, showing all kinds of emotion to it, while Xiao decided not to look at it.

As we all wave goodbye to everyone, me and Xiao are left by ourselfs. I quickly take the two photos out of my pocket, the group photo, and the photo of Xiao being wholesome. It's so adorable when he just warms up to the cats.
" Xiao, here, let me show you these two photos. " Xiao looked over at me, crossing his arms. I show him the group photo, and his photo. He quickly takes the photo of his and the cat, staring at it. " Why'd you take a photo of me? " He doesn't look at me. " You just looked so adorable.. " I reply. " You can be so weird sometimes. " He continues to look at the photo.
" Can I keep it? "
" Pftt, of course! Now, I've gotta go, see you! " I wave goodbye to Xiao, as he gives a small wave to me, before beginning to head back to his house. I don't know why, but now, he's starting to act like himself, well, when we were little. He was a little cold to the other children, yes, but he was.. nice to me.
At this point, I wonder if he still remembers our promise, well.. his promise. His promise of marrying me when we became older.
Oh well, maybe he just forgot, that's alright.

I actually don't know what people do at cat cafes, I just like cats, so I wanted to make it a cat cafe, even though i don't know what cats act like, so if I somehow made some sort of mistake, tell me!!

Honestly, at first I just made this a normal cafe, but while I was writing it, I suddenly had a strong urge to make it a cat cafe
