Mrs.Tasha just texted me and said she on the way over here so I made Ace go across the street to get everybody.
I done got all dressed up for this dinner, done put my Dior shoes on.
I never get dressed up so when I have a reason i'ma take it.
"Give me all the money!" Ace yelled in a Mexican voice as he walked in my house.
"Act like you got some sense cuhs." I said.
"Okay Mr. Vending machine you got it like that huh." Tuson said causing me to laugh.
"I guess I do." I said chuckling.
"This is nice." Tae said.
"Thank y'all so much man." I said.
"I worked hard for this." I added.
"It paid off too." Ari added.
"It's real nice in here Breon." Tae said.
"Thank you." I said.
"What we on 4?" Ariel asked as she walked in the house with my moms on her heels.
"Ariel where do you learn this hood talk from?" My moms asked.
"Being on the block." She said.
"Hey son." My mom said pulling me into a hug.
"Hey ma." I said.
"Hey Tae, hey y'all how's everybody doing?" She asked.
"Hey Mrs. Stacey." Tae said.
"I just talked to your mom she said she's going to be coming shortly with your grandparents." My mom said to Tae.
Yeah, her moms and my moms like best friends now. Crazy how this all played out.
"Yay." She said.
"Good I need to talk to your moms about your behavior. Calling me a punk is very unacceptable." I said.
"Boy hush." She said making me laugh.
"So where the good eats at I know you got some snacks in this house vending machine." Tuson said.
"He stay bleeding you cuh." Ace said.
I heard the door bell ring.
Finally.
I went and opened the door.
"Hello, Wassup lil ugly." Pops said.
"Wassup pops." I said chuckling.
"Hey baby." Mrs. Tasha said.
"Hey grandma." I replied.
"You act like you can't see me?" Tae mom asked.
"Nah wassup mom." I said.
"Hey son how you been?" She asked.
"Good." I said.
"Oh If it isn't the hood rats wig fixer uppers." Pops said as he walked in the dining room.
Everybody laugh.
"Hello Mr. King welcome to your palace." Tuson said.
"Tyson get out my face before I show you how Mike Tyson got his name." Pops said.
"It's Tuson Mr King, say it with me Tuson." Tuson said.
"Say it with me I don't care." Pops said spacing out the words.
"Big mama ready to eat." Tae said.
"Hey grand baby." Pops said.
"Hey paw paw, hey grandma and hey mom." Tae said.
"Hey baby how you been?" Mrs Tasha asked.
"Good." She said.
"I see everybody getting a long, good to see." Grandma said smiling.
"Now let's eat." She said.
"Everybody go wash your hands and get ready for prayer." Grandma said.
She don't play that, you will bless your food whenever my Grandmas around.
"Breon you wanna lead us in prayer?" Mrs. Tasha asked.
"Yes ma'am." I said.
"Bow your heads, God I just want to thank you for this family and friends get together, I pray you bless this food we are about to receive I pray it nourish our bodies and does no harm in no way shape nor form, in Jesus name we pray. Amen." I said.
"Amen." Everybody said in union.
"A man that's prays is a man that stays." Ari said looking at Tae.
"Breon why you ask the Lord that this food does no harm, the Lord knows I can cook." Mrs Tasha said causing everybody to laugh.
"Grandma, I mean like I don't want this food to make our stomachs hurt after we digest it or anything like that." I said.
"Oh." She said.
"I know you can cook, you got your grand daughter beat and that's for sure." I said.
"Oh wow always gotta find a way to bring me in something." Tae said.
"That's my job." I said chuckling.
"Kiss and get back together already." Ariel said causing me to bust out laughing.
"I agree." Ace said.
"I think everybody does." Ariel said.
"Chill man we just getting back on good terms." I said.
"Yeah, nobody be stunning Breon." Tae said.
"Diamontè." I said looking at her.
"Breon Armani Smith." She said.
"Full government, mm she fed. So what you gone do about that Three?" Ace asked.
"Ugh I can't take this horrible rizz." Pops said.
"Pawpaw how you know what rizz is?" Ariel asked.
"I be on Tik Tak or whatever you call it." Pops said.
"Time clock." He added
"Whatever." He said causing me to laugh.
"Pops tripping foo." I said laughing.
"So like what's the vibes after we eat?" Tuson asked.
"Do you ever just shut up or go to sleep?" Pops asked.
"Not very often." Tuson said.
"You should try it often." Pops said.
"Ou, it's a yacht party going on tonight it's like a classy one tho not them ghetto ones." Ari said.
"Ou I wanna go." Ariel said.
"No ma'am." Ace replied.
"Grown people only." He added.
"I'm grown." She said.
"Still in school." He said.
"Still grown." She said.
"I can't say nothing she is grown and can go wherever she please." My moms said.
"I don't know if I want to go man." I said.
"Can't hang." I heard Tae say lowly.
She want me to go so bad.
"Speak up." I said.
"Boy you ain't nobody." She said pushing my head as she walked past.
I got up and walked in the kitchen behind her.
"Move Breon." She said laughing.
"Nah man I let you slide to many times you keep playing." I said laughing.
"Back up before I do you like will smith." She said causing me to laugh harder.
"Girl you like 5'6 I'll pick you up and throw you." I said.
"So." She said before I walked away.
"Yeah punk." She said.
I turned around and backed her into the corner in the kitchen.
"Breon move ou- Nah where you going? It's no way out the kitchen unless you get through me." I said beating on my chest.
"Okay the last Harambe." She said causing me to pick her up.
"Stop you messing up my hair!" She yelled.
"Say uncle." I said laughing.
"Big kids man." Ace said laughing.
"Shut up." I said.
"Breon put me down." She said.
"Say sorry." I said.
"For what?" She asked.
"Just say sorry." I said.
"Please just put me down." She said sounding like she finna cry.
Ugh.
I put her down gently.
"You messed my hair up Bre." She said.
"You still beautiful." I said.
"I don't care if you had them lil jail braids in before you put the wig on, you still beautiful in my eyes." I said truthfully.
She stared at me.
"Ew." She said before walking away.
Tuh she liked the compliment ain't sweating it.
"Okay let's play truth or dare." Tuson said.
"Oh nah y'all not finna get me with this one." Tae said.
"Punk." I said chuckling.
"I'll be that, they think they slick." She said.
"Girl be quiet nobody was finna get on yo case." Aubrey said smirking.
"Yeah ight." Tae said.
