Brie's POV

I've been running for almost an hour. I know that I've got to try and put as much space between me and these people. I don't know how much farther I can run. I'm starting to have consistent contractions. I know these babies are coming no mater what I do. That's when I see a cave. I know this will probably be the safest place to hide. I just hope Lee finds me soon.

Lee's POV

We visited the Beck brothers. Kacey took care of one of them. Now we wait for nightfall to take care of the other one. I head back to the ranch with Rip.

"What's going through your head Lee?" Rip says as he watches me closely.

"I just want to have my wife home. I just want to know that she's okay. I want to know our babies are okay." I say looking at a Rip.

"I know. We will get them back. I promise you Lee even if we have to set all of Montana on fire." Rips says as we park in front of the main house.

"Let's get ready it's almost dark." I say as I get up and walk up the steps to my dad.

"Everyone is ready. We've got the tribal police, the sheriff's department, and everyone in the livestock agency ready. We'll bring her home tonight." My dad says as he grabs his rifle.

I nod my head and grab my badge. I put on the vest and grab my rifle and my pistol. I text Connor to be on stand by invade Brie needs medical attention. I then head outside and load up my truck. That's when I see Ryan, Rip, Colby, Lloyd, and the other ranch hands loading up horses and another truck. I turn back and see my dad watching them as they load up. Once everything's done Ryan comes up to me.

"Im riding with you. I've got your back, Lee." Ryan says with a reassuring smile.

"Okay, let's load up and head out!" My dad says as he heads to the helicopter.

I jump in my truck and head to the address.

Brie's POV

I try to stay quiet as the contractions get worse. I hear rapid footfall. I bite the sleeve of my jacket to keep quiet. I hear hushed voices as they get closer.

"Where could that bitch be?" One of the unknown voices says.

"We have to find her before those Duttons catch up with us." The other unknown voice says.

I hear what sounds like horses in the distance. I try to keep quiet. I whimper in slight pain. I know these babies are coming now. I hear gunshots and yelling.

Lee's POV

We arrive at this compound on the outskirts of the reservation. We all suit up and hit the house. I notice four guys with guns take off into the woods. I grab one of the horses and take off after them. I hear more horses following behind me. I turn and see Kasey, Rip, and Ryan coming up behind me. We keep following these guys' footsteps. We lose them halfway.

"Damn it! They can't be gone." I say looking around trying to find them.

"Lee, I think they're looking for Brie. When we cleared the basement we found a guy who was stabbed to death. There were boot tracks leading up the stairs. They matched Brie's boots." Rip says looking at me with concern.

"They have to be trying to find her. We have to find her before they do." I say looking at them.

They all nod and we take off in the general direction of where those guys went. We corner the four guys by a cave. I see the flash of a gun on one of the guy's hips. That's when I grab my pistol. Before he can even pull the trigger Kacey has shot him. That's when the other three pull out their weapons. I shoot the one closest to me. Rip and Ryan take care of the other two. That's when I hear a scream of pain coming from inside the cave.

"Brie!" I yell as I grab a flashlight and head for the cave.

Brie's POV

I can't hold it in anymore. I scream out in pain. That's when I hear him.

"Brie!" Lee yells at the entrance of the cave.

"Lee, I'm in here," I say softly.

I see a light and that's when I see Lee, Kacey, Rip, and Ryan.

Lee rushes over to me and starts checking me over. That's when I grab onto his hand and try to breathe through the pain.

"Brie, what's going on?" Lee asks looking at them with concern.

"These babies are coming now. I can't have these babies in a cave in the woods." I say in a panic looking at Lee and the others.

"Hey, look at me, babe. There is no way we are going to able to move you. Your contractions are too close together and there's no way we are going to get you on a horse." I say as I move the hair from her face.

"Lee, you're going to have to deliver these babies," I say looking at him.

Rip jogs out of the cave and comes back with a couple of saddle blankets and my medical bag.

"I figured we might need this," Rips says as comes back and sits the bag down.

Lee and Kacey help stand up and Rip lays one of the saddle blankets down. They help ease me back onto the ground.

"Okay, what do you need?" Lee asks looking at me slightly worried.

"Pull out the trauma sheers, warming blankets, gloves, and the clamps," I say as Rip places the other blanket over my waist.

I slip off everything from the waist down. Ryan comes back in with someone behind him.

"I brought reinforcements," Ryan says as he steps to the side and there stands Connor.

"I'm glad to see you," Lee says with a relieved look on his face.

"Okay, let's check you," Connor says as he kneels and grabs some gloves from my kit.

Kacey, Rip, and Ryan go stand out in front of the cave.

"Looks like the first baby is in position, Brie. Okay, when that next contraction starts I need you to push for me." Connor says looking at me.

I nod my head. Lee slips behind me and I lay against his chest. I grip his hands when the next contraction hits. I bare down and start to push.

"Okay, Brie give me another big push. The heads out. Once the shoulders are out you'll have your first baby." Connor says looking up at me with a reassuring smile.

Once I feel another contraction hit I begin to push again.

"You've got this Brie give me one more big push." Connor encourages me.

"I can't do this." I cry out to Lee.

Lee's POV

"Yes, you can. You're the strongest woman I know. You ran over three miles in labor after having to fight with one of your kidnappers. You've got this." I say as I lean down an kiss her forehead.

"Okay, I can do this." Brie says with a look of determination.

She bares down and gives another good long push. That's when we hear the most beautiful thing. Our firstborn first cry.

"Congratulations, it's a little girl." Conner says as he places our daughter on Brie's chest.

"She's beautiful." Brie says looking up at with tears running down her face.

"Okay, Brie it's time for you to push again. Lee, who do you trust to hold this little girl while we deliver your other little one." Connor says looking at the two of us.

"Kacey, can you come here." I call out.

I here hurried footsteps and that's when Kacey rushes over.

"Lee, is everything okay. What do I need to do?" Kacey asks with slight panic.

"Kacey, would you like to hold your niece." Brie says looking up at him with a small smile.

"Of course!" He says with a big smile on his.

Connor quickly cuts the umbilical cord and wraps her into a warming blanket. He then gently passes her to Kacey. I watch as Kacey gently rocks my daughter.

"Okay, Brie I need you to give me a big push when the next contraction hits," Connor says looking up at Brie.

Brie bares down and begins to push again. She grips my hands tightly. She takes a deep breath and then begins to push again. That's when we hear the second cry.

"You did so good baby. They are both here. You are all safe." I say as I lean down and kiss her.

"Congratulations, it's another little girl." Connor says as he places her on Brie's chest.

Kacey brings our other daughter and places her back on Brie's chest. Kacey drapes the warming blanket over Brie and the twins.

"The care flight should be here shortly." Ryan says as he and Rip walk back in.

Brie's POV

I can't believe that I have two little girls. I rest against Lee as Conner goes out with Ryan to meet the care flight. I feel at peace laying against Lee with our little girls. Not long after Connor left he comes back with the paramedics. They check me and the twins over and load me on a backboard. Lee and Connor carry the girls as they follow behind us. They load us up into the helicopter and take us straight to the hospital in Bozeman. I try to fight the wave of fatigue on the hour flight to the hospital but my eyelids are too heavy. I doze off to sleep as I watch my husband holding our daughters.
