Introduction: While out on a night walk you decide to confess your love for Tara just for it to be interrupted...
Y/n's pov
"Don't you think it's dangerous to be out this late?" A voice came from behind me as I looked back and saw Tara
"Maybe but before all of this I always went on late night walks" I said as Tara walked beside me
"Why are you out?" I asked while I looked beside me to the small girl
"I didn't find you in the house so I came out looking for you" She said which I hummed
"I just wanted to get some fresh air, Sam told me she's on her way so" I said as Tara nodded
"So how are you and chad? I see you two are quite close" The question just slipped out as I immediately wanted to slap myself for it
"Me and chad? We are just friends." She said which I hummed in response
"My bad just that you two are now very protective over each other" I said while looking at the sidewalk that was being illuminated by the street lights
"We just don't want anything to happen to each other just like we don't want anything to happen to the rest of the group" She said which I nodded
"Tara" I said while coming to a stop
"Hm?" She hummed out while stopping and looking up at me
"So you remember when we were at the party and Mindy said something about me that involved you?" I said as she thought for a minute then nodded
"Yeah, I asked you about it and you told me it was nothing" She said
I took a second before mentally saying "fuck it"
"Yeah well it was something. Tara what Mindy was referring to was that... well that she knows I like you" I said as her eyes widen a bit
"W-wait what?" She stuttered out while I sighed
"Tara I met you when we were still in high school, we went through a lot together and I realized that I liked you more than just a friend but I was scared to tell you because of Wes, amber, and now chad but well I guess... I guess it doesn't matter now. Something I know is that these ghostface have something out for me so one of these days I'm sure to be killed. But I do Tara, I really like you" I said as she stared at me speechless
"Y/n I-" She couldn't finish when I caught a glimpse of someone from the corner of my eye, I looked over and saw ghostface at the end of the street
"Tara.." I said while she looked over
"Shit" She said while ghostface got out his knife
"Fuck, Tara go go!" I said while me and tara started running back to the house, we had walked a block away from the house so we quickly got there and started boarding up the door
"Tara go upstairs!" I yelled out
"I'm not leaving your side!" She said but then the doorbell rang and we both looking at the door that was being covered by couches and chairs
Tara stood behind me as we waited for sudden movement but nothing happened
"Come on son of a bitch" I mumbled out before he jumped through the window, I quickly stopped him from being able to stab us and backed him up onto the wall
I then put kicked his arm making the knife fall out of his hand before backing up and punching him in the face
"Go Tara go!" I said while we quickly ran upstairs, making sure to throw things to slow him down
We stood in the middle of the hallway as I grabbed a bat that was hanging around
He reached the second floor as he looked at us from the start of the hallway
"You wanna go? Then let's go mother fucker!" I said while holding onto the bat tight. He stood there for a second before running up to us
I quickly dodged his knife swing before hitting him in the stomach with the bat, he stumbled back before swinging again but this time nearly hitting me
I tried to hit him with the bat again but he caught it.
He tried to stab me with the knife but I caught his hand, the knife inches away from my stomach
I struggled but Tara hit him on the head with a vase making him fall back
"Get the knife!" I said while Tara grabbed the knife and backed up
I stood with the bat in hand while Tara stood with the knife
Ghostface was trapped
"What are you gonna do now huh?" I said but was caught off guard when he lunged at me, we fell back while accidentally pushing Tara and making her fall back too
He got on top of me before repeatedly punching me until Tara pushed him off, I stumbled up before grabbing Tara and pushing her
"Let's go!" I said while we started running back downstairs when my phone rang
"Fuck, Sam not right now" I said while we headed to the kitchen but ghostface had caught up
He stood feet away from me as I blocked him from getting Tara
"You're a bitch you know that?" I said before grabbing the knife stab he was trying to throw at me, I groaned before throwing him against the wall
I immediately punched him and tried to do it again but he caught my punch and I was too slow to catch his other hand
"Y/N!" Tara yelled out as I got stabbed in the stomach, I groaned out trying to take his hand away but he twisted the knife making me scream in pain
"Fuck you" I was able to say before I head butted him, it hurt from the sudden movement but that made him fall back
I stumbled onto the counter as Tara came over to me
"Are you okay?" She asked while putting her hands on the side of my head
"Y-you need to go" I said while holding my wound
"Tara!" I said before pushing Tara out the way and taking the hit
He stabbed me once again in the stomach
"NO" Tara yelled out in a sob as I groaned and stumbled back with him, blood now coming to my mouth
"You're- you're still gonna die" I said before he took the knife out and I fell to the floor
"Y/n no please" I heard Tara plead out as ghostface started walking towards Tara
With all my strength I had left in me, I stood up while his back was faced towards me and I jumped on him
He stumbled back while I tried to get him away from Tara but he threw me off his back and I fell to the ground with a groan
He grabbed his knife and was about to stab me again when a sudden shot came and he ran off
"Tara!" Sam yelled but Tara came rushing towards me
"Y/n! Y/n please stay with me" She said but I was gonna choke on my blood any minute
"I- I love you more than he e-ever will" I said as she cried while shaking her head
"Ambulance gets here any minute" Danny said but I started choking on my blood
"No no, y/n no!" Tara cried as she held me close
"I-I love you too, I always did now please stay with me. I need you" She cried out as everything started going black
"NO Y/N" Was the last thing I heard before it all went black
Time skip~
3rd person view
"Chad come on!" Tara yelled out as chad came downstairs
"Okay let's go" Chad said while rolling his eyes and placing a kiss on the smaller girl's lips
"We are gonna be-" Tara was in the middle of saying when she opened the door and her heart dropped
"Hello" Y/n spoke as she stood at the door well, healthy, like she was before she died
"Y/n?" Chad spoke in a surprised and confused tone
"Hey guys" She said with a smile on her face
After that day when y/n got stabbed, she was rushed to the hospital where she was supposedly pronounced dead but while everyone was outside the room trying to calm down, someone had woken up.
Flashback~
"I'm sorry but she's gone" The doctor spoke as a scream was let out by the girl that loved y/n
Sam held Tara as she cried her eyes out but inside the room, something different was happening
"We need to-" The nurse was saying when y/n opened her eyes
"Oh my god" The nurse said as y/n put her hand up
"I'm done. Don't tell anyone I'm alive. I just don't want to do this anymore" Y/n said as tears came to her eyes, the nurses were surprised and didn't know what to say
Y/n's heart broke hearing what was happening outside the room but it was for the better.
It's better to make everyone think she's dead then have to go through more pain
But just hearing the screams and crying of that one girl
Made her cry herself
'We will reunite again. And like I said, I love you more than he ever will.'
End of flashback~
"Y-you died- y/n you- you died. I remember- I remember when the doctor told us... you were gone" Tears came back to the smaller girl as y/n stared at her with a guilty look
"I know Tara but I woke up and I didn't want to do this anymore so I told them-" Y/n couldn't finish when the smaller girl started attacking her
"YOU DIED. YOU LEFT ME ALONE, WHY DID YOU DO THAT? WHY Y/N!" Tara said in teary screams while hitting y/n, y/n tried calming the girl down but it only made the girl more upset
"YOU LEFT FOR 3 MONTHS. YOU LEFT ME FOR 3 MONTHS. I NEEDED YOU AND YOU LEFT ME" She said while looking up at the girl who already had tears welding up in her eyes
"YOU BASTARD. WHY" Tara said while hitting y/n again but this time breaking down and falling to her knees
Y/n went down with her as she held her in her arms
"I know I know, take out all your anger. You have every right to feel like this" Y/n said as Tara sobbed in her arms, lightly hitting her chest
"Why did you leave... you knew I needed you." Tara said while y/n's heart broke at every word the girl spoke
"I had to. I didn't want to do this anymore Tara but I'm sorry. I know you needed me and I did too but I felt like it had to be done" Y/n said while holding onto the girl so tight that she was scared that she might be hurting her
"Do you still..?" Tara said lightly as y/n backed away slowly
"What do you mean?" Y/n asked
"Do you still love me more than he ever will?" Y/n's face dropped as she looked at the guy behind her, she knew that they were together now
"I don't think I should answer that" Y/n said as Tara shook her head
"Tell me. Do you?" Tara demanded
"Tara I-" Y/n tried speaking but was shut down by Tara standing up
"Answer the question!" Tara yelled out as y/n stood up and looked down
"There is a reason I told you that, that night. If I told you I would love you more than he ever will is because I do. I do and always will Tara but I've made my decisions. Although my love I know chad will treat you right. I'm happy for you both, I really am." Y/n said while blinking away her tears with a smile
"I should go now. I wish you both well" Y/n said before turning around and walking away, slowly letting her tears fall while she walked to the car
She loved the girl.
But it was too late and her mistakes were now being payed
And for the smaller girl, she couldn't do anything.
She was glued in that same place while her heart broke all over again seeing her one true love leave again
She knows the girl loves her more than anyone else can but her heart now belonged to someone else
Or so she thought
Cause seeing y/n again made her realize
Her heart never left y/n's hands.
