Evelyn POV
It was the night before my birthday, and Wilbur was over at my house.
"I'm so excited for tomorrow." He grins.
"I think you're more excited than me." I laugh.
"I probably am." He grins.
I would've expected that it would be easier to get used to being in love with Wilbur over time, but at the same time I was falling deeper in love with him every day.
I was standing at the kitchen counter scrolling on my phone while Ranboo streams in his room, when Wilbur came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist with his head rested on mind, sending a wave of red across my face.
"Hi love." He smiles.
"Hi Will." I smile.
"Are you excited for the party tomorrow?" He asks.
"Very." I grin.
Suddenly, his voice gets shaky. As if he's nervous.
"I-I have a question." He asks.
"What's up?" I ask.
"D-Do you maybe wanna b-be like...like my...my d-date to the party?" He asks nervously.
My face warms up as butterflies rush through my stomach, and a wave of excitement shoots throughout me. Is there a chance he likes
me back?
"I would love that." I smile.
"Awesome." He smiles.
Eventually Wilbur goes to take a shower in my bathroom, so I excitedly call Kristen.
"Hi Ev!" She smiles as she answers the call.
"Kristen guess what!" I smile.
"What?" She asks.
"Wilbur asked me to be his date to my party!" I grin.
"Really?" She gasps. "That's amazing!"
