Berkley felt weak the moment the full-time whistle blowed, feeling entirely out of breath as she watched the stadium erupt in either cheers or tears while the Chelsea boys all ran onto the field. When it happened, she stood still, stunned at what she just witnessed before turning to Sophia and Julia with a shocked look on her face.

They won. They actually won.

Sophia's eyes were brimming with tears of joy as she cupped both sides of her face as if she were making sure she was still real, and Julia, on the other hand, just grinned as she pulled the two girls into her arms before engulfing them in a three way hug.

Berkley took a while to process before a smile showed on her face and when she did, she was much too preoccupied with hugging Kai and Timo's girlfriends to notice Mason's look up at her in the stands.

It didn't feel real. It was a dream and had been a dream all his life until this moment.

He stared at her, gripping the sides of his shirt as he watched her press her forehead up against Sophia's crying face. He couldn't read her lips but he knew she was whispering to her, and he couldn't help but smile as he stared at the shirt she still wore on her. Around her shoulders were one of Julia's Chelsea blankets, blocking the Mount 19 on the back as the press took this time to now pan through Chelsea's family section.

The boy sighed, looking around the field to see all the fans cheering around the stadium. He looked at all the tears of joy and the tears that weren't so joyful, and he looked at his team as they all took turns hugging one another and laying on each other on the pitch that they created history on.

He took a moment to take everything in, sitting down near the edge of the box still feeling like he was the same little kid who had walked into Stamford bridge at the age four and fell in love.

He did it. He actually did it.

Little Mason would be the second happiest boy in the world right now if he were here. Almost first, but not quite. That spot was reserved for actual Mason Mount in all his glory, because there was one thing little Mason didn't have and that was her.

Mason couldn't believe himself as he scoffed lightly and shook his head at his own thoughts.

Here he was sitting in the middle of a football pitch having won the biggest fucking competition in European Club Football, and all he wanted to do in that moment was see Berkley Beckham down here with him, in his shirt laying in his arms.

Little Mason never stood a chance being the happiest boy alive as long as she existed.

ANSWER?

"Mason!" Berkley beamed as she answered his call, barely looking down to see him on the field facing the crowed as he frantically searched for her face. She laughed at the screen, seeing him furrow his eyebrows before looking down back down at his phone camera.

"Where are you?" He asked, his smile faltering for a moment as he watched her shuffle around on the screen.

"I lost Sophia and Julia," Berkley laughed a bit nervously, "we were coming down to see you guys but I'm... I'm a bit stuck. There are a lot of people here."

Mason turned around, looking over at where Kai engulfed Sophia in a hug while Julia ran into Timo's arms in the near distance. He looked down at Berkley's screen to see her obviously squished between two men attempting to politely get through. He panned the camera to them and frowned at her absence, "Sophia and Julia are down here."

"What?" She gasped, "how!"

"Well-"

"IS THAT BABY BECKHAM?!" Mason was interrupted by the sudden sound of Tammy Abraham's holler from behind him. He jumped a little at his sudden presence as he took the phone from his hands, panning it up in the air to show his company.

Christian Pulisic bit the gold of his medal as he jumped on Mason's back while Chilly danced behind him, waving at the camera upon seeing Berkley's face. Reece's arms were thrown around Callum and Ruben as they looked up at the camera and just shortly behind were Hakim and Mateo chanting 'Blue is the Colour' as they jumped up and down to see over the three English boys standing together.

"Where you at Becks?" Tammy yelled as he brought the phone back down, putting it up to his ear after to try and hear her better.

"I can't seem to get out of the crowd!" She told him, trying to be as loud as possible over the screaming fans surrounding her. She began to feel anxious in the tight area she felt constricted to. Berkley forced a smile onto her face, "where's Mason?"

She watched as Tammy looked up to Mason beside him, hearing his faint 'give me the phone' as he laughed and refused. He panned the camera over to him, seeing the frown on his face as he was evidently anxious without her.

"He's like a lost puppy," Tammy said, looking back at the camera with a smirk, "you best hurry up."

Berkley felt her annoyance reach a peak and covered it up with a chuckle. "I'm trying," she said, hardly being able to even look at the screen as she manoeuvred her way through.

"Beckham, you better be a blue now, we just became Champions of Europe for you!" She suddenly heard an American accent speak. She looked back down at the phone to see it now in Christian's hands as Ben stood beside him with his arm draped over his shoulder.

"What?" She asked, still processing his words as her mind was much too preoccupied with finding her way to the field in general.

"What colour is London now, Baby Becks?!" Chilly bantered, laughing he cheered and waved his medal around in front of the camera, "Money Mase secured that bag, innit!?"

"Ben, can I have the phone back ple-"

"Mason, do you know where Berkley is we thought she was behind us but- OH! Berkley!" Suddenly, Berkley watched as the phone was taken from Ben and Christian's hands before Julia's and Sophia's face fell on the screen.

"Are you okay? We thought you were right behind us!" Julia asked in worry but Berkley was having much too hard of a time squeezing through two men to even reply to the woman.

"Excuse me- oh okay." The girl was cut off, again, standing in her spot as she desperately tried to find another path to the field. She felt her breathing speed up as her head felt dizzy at having to look up and down from the phone while still trying to get to Mason in general, and it certainly didn't help that every time she looked down, it was a new person holding the camera.

So many people spoke on the phone and everybody around her cheered so loud her ears began getting confused. The girl couldn't take it. There was too much happening for her to pay attention to it all at once.

Mason could see the worry in her eye as he looked over Sophia's shoulder, seeing her obvious short and quick breathing as the camera moved around as she did. Carefully, he took the phone from Sophia's hands and looked down in concern. He didn't care about anyone else at that moment as they were hollering for him to come back to them. Mason Mount was making a B-line towards the stands.

"Berkley, are you oka-" suddenly, the camera cut out, hanging up before he could finish his sentence. His heart dropped for a moment as her face was now absent from his screen before he looked up, ignoring the crowds of people reaching for him from over the fence. His eyes scanned the stands frantically trying to find anything that could tell him where she was.

"Shit," he cussed to himself before pulling his phone out again, trying to quickly call her once more. His eyes went back to the stands as the phone rung, still trying to see her face.

His heart raced as he darted his gaze around, and his stomach dropped when he saw his unanswered call. He tried again, running a hand through his hair anxiously at her possible whereabouts. If something bad had happened to her, he wouldn't have known what to do with himself.

Suddenly, Mason heard cheers behind him from a distance and he was much to occupied trying to find Berkley to even turn around. That was, until, a soft and familiar voice called out towards him. "Mason."

The boy furrowed his eyebrows as he turned around confused. Suddenly, his heart fluttered and the pit in his stomach refilled as he saw the girl running towards him. He stared at her as she ran into his arms, and he couldn't help but smile as he instantly wrapped his arms around her waist before picking her up as if he never wanted to let go.

"Oh my god, Berks-" he whispered in her ear as he buried his face in the crook of her neck. She could feel the breath of relief he let out as he held her before setting her down.

"You won!" She cheered, holding his toned arms excitedly as she pulled away from his grasp for a moment.

Mason cupped her cheeks with worry. "You're okay?" He asked her, still so concerned about what happened from a few moments ago that he had forgotten what was just happening in general.

The girl just smiled at him and nodded, shaking her head as she laughed lightly. "I'm okay, don't worry."

Mason smiled then sighed again before swooping back in for a hug. His emotions felt everywhere at that moment but the simple fact that he finally had her in his arms slowly put everything else into place again.

He won the champions league, he assisted the game winning goal, and Berkley Beckham was now in his arms as he didn't dare to let go of her. The sound of her cheers was music to his ears as he could get hear her laugh while she spun around.

Everything felt nearly perfect.

Mason set her down and stared at her, seeing the beaming smile on her face as she excitedly hopped in her spot. He could see the genuine happiness in her eye and the passion that coursed through her veins at that moment for him, and he could feel it too.

He stared at her standing there in his shirt with his name and his number on her back. Everything felt nearly perfect. Just nearly.

He didn't realise what he was doing until he had done it, and it was much too late to take it back by the time it had happened, but she was his in that moment, and everything was perfect as his lips suddenly planted against hers.

It felt right. He was a Champion of Europe, he assisted the game winning goal, and now, he was kissing Berkley Beckham in the middle of the pitch as if nothing really mattered, because at this point, not much did.
