"So you killed her?" Stiles asked as him, Scott walked through the school side by side, "I don't know. I just woke up. And I was sweating like crazy, and I couldn't breathe. I've never had a dream where I woke up like that before." Scott said.
"Really? I have. Usually ends a little differently." Stiles said making Scott look at him weird, . "A, I meant I've never had a dream that felt that real, and B, never give me that much detail about you in bed again." Scott said and Stiles nodded. "Noted.
Let me take a guess here -"
"No, I know, you think it has something to do with me going out with Allison tomorrow, like I'm gonna lose control and rip her throat out." Scott said. "No, of course not."
"Liar"
"Okay yeah, that's totally it. Hey, come on, it's gonna be fine, all right? Personally, I think you're handling this pretty freakin' amazingly.
You know, it's not like there's a lycanthropy for beginners class you can take." Stiles said after
"Yeah, not a class, but maybe a teacher." Scott said making Stile look at him like he was crazy,
"Who, Derek?" Stiles exclaimed hitting Scott in the back if the head before continuing, "You forgetting the part where we got him tossed in jail?" Stiles said and josh looks at stiles while talking with Jackson chuckle, "stilinski what have I told u about talking about my family I told u ill do something bad to you" josh says and Jackson came over when he heard his friend shouting stiles just looks scared out of his skin .
"Okay so let me get this straight. You had a wet dream about a girl you just started dating and it turned into a nightmare where you killed her.
Did you ever just stop to think that maybe it's just your nerves and teenage hormones fucking with your head?" Stiles asked and Scott nodded,
"I know, but chasing her, dragging her to the back of the bus, it felt so real."
"How real?" Stiles asked as they walked outside.
"Like it actually happened."
boys stop and look at what was in front of him.
A school bus with its back door hanging off by one of its hinges, blood covered the seats and some on the outside. As well as four claw marks on the hanging door.
"She's not answering my texts," Scott stressed typing away at his phone. "It could just be a coincidence, all right? A seriously amazing coincidence." Stiles said making,
"Not helping."
"Just help me find her, okay? Do you see her?"
Scott asked, "No."
"What you think u Scott mcall killed my gfs friend as if" josh says "wait u r dating Jackson's sister" stiles asks
"No I'm dating a fox Ofc I'm dating Courtney you ass face" josh says
At some point Scott had gotten so frustrated to the point he had punched a random locker, denting it to all hell. And yet somehow no one saw or heard him do it.
Eventually Scott ran into Allison and Stiles . "Attention, students, this is your principal. I know you're all wondering about the incident that occurred last night to one of our buses. While the police work to determine what happened, classes will proceed as scheduled." The over head speaker said making a bunch of students groan but
"You know for someone's who's actually twenty-two, you sure do act like a teenager sometimes." Stiles said making her smile at him.
"Thank you. Maybe I should become an actress."
"Maybe it was my blood on the door." Scott whispered looking at Stiles . "Could have been animal blood. You know, maybe you caught a rabbit or something." Josh said shrugging. "And did what?"
"Ate it." Stiles shrugged and Scott's eyes widened, "Raw?" He asked making Stiles squint at him. "No, you stopped to bake it in a little werewolf oven. I don't know, you're the one who can't remember anything."
"Mr. Stilinksi, if that's your idea of a hushed whisper, you might want to pull the headphones out every once in a while. I think you, Mr.
McCall would benefit from a little distance, yes?" Mr. Harris said
"No." Stiles said and Mr. Harris pointed at a few seats making the two get up and move, "Let me know if the separation anxiety gets to be too much." Mr. Harris said after they sat down.
"Hey I think they found something!" A girl named Harley said looking at the window making everyone shoot out of their seats to look out the window.
EMTs came out rolling a body on a gurney into a waiting truck. "That's not a rabbit." Scott said.
Suddenly, the man on the gurney sits up and shrieks making the whole class scream while Scott had backed up, "Okay. This is good, this is good. He got up, he's not dead. Dead guys can't do that."
Stiles says.
"Stiles.. I did that."
"Then it wasn't a dream. Something happened last night, and I can't remember what." Scott said while sitting down in a chair
"What makes you so sure that Derek even has all the answers?" Stiles asked sitting across from Scott.
"Because during the full moon he wasn't changed. He was in total control while I was running around in the middle of the night attacking some totally innocent guy." Scott said Y
"You don't know that. And also why go to Derek ?" Stiles suggested
"I can't go out with Allison. I have to cancel." Scott said and
"Figure what out?" Lydia asked sitting down next to Scott,
"Why is she sitting with us?" Stiles whispered making her shrug.
Soon enough more people sat down with making Stiles awkwardly nod at the girl who sat on the other side of him"Get up." Jackson said walking up to Brian "move now or I'll shove fork in your eye" josh say who sat at the end of the table next to Jackson "How come you never ask Danny to get up?" He asked.
"Because I don't stare at his girlfriend's coin and his sister's slot." Danny said making josh laugh quietly,
Would have made it so much more enjoyable.
"So I hear they're saying it's some type of animal attack. Probably a cougar" Danny said as Jackson sat down, "I heard mountain lion."
Jackson said "maybe it's some type of gorilla" josh says and they all look at him weirdly
"A cougar is a mountain lion." Lydia said making Jackson look at her weird, "Isn't it?"
She asked "I have no absolute clue" josh says
"Who cares? The guy's probably some homeless tweaker who's gonna die anyway." Jackson said and josh nods agreeing with Jackson "there gonna die one day from starvation I wouldn't die bc I wouldn't be able to bang your sister Jackson" josh says and Jackson just looks at josh and smiles
"Actually, I just found out who it is. Check it out." Stiles said holding his phone out making everyone lean over to look at it.
"The Sheriff's department won't speculate on details of the incident but confirmed the victim, Garrison Meyers, did survive the attack. Meyers was taken to a local hospital where he remains in critical condition."
"I-I know this guy." Scott said looking up, "You do?" Allison asked. "Yeah, when I used to take the bus back when I lived with my dad. He was the driver."
'Can we talk about something slightly more fun, please? Like, oh, where are we going tomorrow night? You said you and Scott were hanging out tomorrow night, right?" Lydia said "Um, we were thinking of what we were going to do." Allison answered
"Well, I am not sitting home again watching lacrosse videos, so if the six of us are hanging out, we are doing something fun." Lydia making, she was enjoying this
"Hanging out? Like, the 6 of us? Do you wanna hang out, like us and them who's the other two?" Scott asked looking at Allison who was taking a drink of water and shrugged, "josh and Courtney" Lydia says "Yeah, I guess. Sounds fun."
"You know what else sounds fun? Stabbing myself in the face with this fork." Jackson said picking of his fork "that sound fun" josh replies "How 'bout bowling? You love to bowl." She asked and Jackson scoffed, "Yeah, with actual competition what about u josh"
"Yeah bowling is good" josh says
"How do you know we're not actual competition? You can bowl right?" Allison asked looked at Scott who looked incredibly nervous, "Sort of?" He answered and Jackson sat up and squinted at him, "Is it sort of, or yes?" Jackson said and Scott leaned forward,
"Yes. In fact, I'm a great bowler."
"I doubt that mcall" josh says
"Joshy don't be mean" Courtney says sitting on Josh's lap
"You're a terrible bowler!"
"I know! I'm such an idiot." Scott stressed , "God, it was like watching a car wreck. I mean, first it turned into the whole group date thing. And then out of nowhere comes that phrase."
"Hang out."
"You don't hang out with hot girls, okay? It's like death. Once it's hanging out, you might as well be her gay best friend. You and Danny can start hanging out." Stiles said
"How is this happening? I either killed a guy or I didn't." Scott stressed but Stiles want paying attention. "I don't think Danny likes me very much."
"I ask Allison on a date, and now we're hanging out." Nither of them were paying attention to each other.
"Am I not attractive to gay guys?" What?
"I make first line, and the team captain wants to destroy me, and now-now I'm gonna be late for work.
"Wait, Scott, you didn't - am I attractive to gay guy - you didn't answer my question!" Stiles called out as Scott walked away. "Am I attractive to gay guys?"
"Hey, no, just me. Someone needs to keep watch." Scott said after the three of them walked up to the gate of the school. Apparently Scott has gone and talked to Derek earlier and was told to come back here and use his other senses. "How come I'm always the guy keeping watch?" Stiles asked.
"Because there's only three of us."
"Okay, why's it starting to feel like you're Batman and I'm Robin? I don't want to be Robin all the time." Stiles said
"Nobody's Batman and Robin any of the time."
Scott said. "Not even some of the time?"
"Just stay here."
"Oh, my God! Fine." Stiles exclaimed making
superheros when they saw a light shining at the bus making Stiles honk and Scott climb into the back. "Come on - come on" he said as Scott ran to the car.
"Go! Go! Go! Go!"
"Courtney can u tell ur brother that I might be a bit late tonight I need to go somewhere first" josh says "sure" Courtney says
"Yeah, I was there last night. And the blood - a lot of it was mine." Scott answered and Stiles glanced at him. "So you did attack him?" Stiles asked and Scott shook his head. "No. I saw glowing eyes in the bus, but they weren't mine.
It was Derek." Scott said
"What about the driver?" Stiles asked. "I think I was actually trying to protect him." Scott answered, "Wait, why would Derek help you remember that he attacked the driver?" Stiles asked. Maybe cause he didn't attack him.
"That's what I don't get."
"It's got to be a pack thing." Stiles said making
Scott look at him, "What do you mean?"
"Like an initiation. You do the kill together." Stiles said
"Because ripping someone's throat out is a real bonding experience?" Scott said sarcastically.
"Yeah, but you didn't do it, which means you're not a killer. And it also means that -"
"I can go out with Allison." Scott said
"I was gonna say it means you won't kill us.. "Oh, yeah. That too." Scott said
"Real comforting Scotty."
Derek and josh stood outside the car. Derek putting gas in it while josh just leaned against it with his arms crossed over his chest, trying and failing at making small talk with him. He looked two cars pulled up. One in front of them and one behind them.
"Nice ride. Black cars, though. Very hard to keep clean. I would definitely suggest a little more maintenance." He said grabbing the window washer and wiping down the windshield, "If you have something this nice, you want to take care of it, right? Personally, I'm very protective of the things I love. But that's something I learned from my family. And you don't have much of that these days. Do you?" Okay now that was a very low blow. Josh looked at Derek
"There we go. You can actually look through your windshield now. See how that makes everything so much clearer? Good to see you again josh?." Chris said looking at josh
Chris went to walk away but Derek decided to speak, "You forgot to check the oil." Derek said making Chris turned around and looked at his buddies, "Check the man's oil."
One of the men walked up to the driver side door and smashed the window with the butt of a gun "Looks good to me." The man said before walking away.
"Oh come on not the car."
Chris smiled, "Drive safely." He said before turning and getting in his car. Once they drove off."
Josh goes to the bowling alley to see Jackson winning "yes Jackson win this for the team except u mcall" josh says and Courtney comes over and kisses him.
After the game of bowling josh goes home but he hears when the sound of the front door slamming open came from down stairs, "Derek!
I know you're here! I know what you did!" She heard Scott call out. She sighed and looked at Derek.
"I didn't do anything.
"You killed him!"
"He died."
"Like your sister died?" Scott says
"My sister was missing. I came here looking for her."
"You found her."
"I found her in pieces! Being used as bait to catch me and josh" Derek says
"I think you killed them both. I'm gonna tell everyone, starting with the sheriff."
"Mcall just go home for gods sake" josh says Derek ran out of the room and soon enough the sound of fighting came from down stairs. Sighing, Scott managed to throw Derek through the wall.
"Mcall I swear on if u hurt any of my family and gf I'll slice u up and eat u" josh says
didn't kill him. Neither of us did. It's not your fault, and it's not mine." Derek said wiping some sweat away from his forehead. "This. This is all your fault! You ruined my life" Scott yelled. "No I didn't." Derek said calmly. "You're the one who bit me.
"I'm not the one that bit you."
"There's another." Scott said sitting down on a chair
"It's called an Alpha. It's the most dangerous of our kind. You, josh and I, we're betas. This thing is more powerful, more animal than either of us.
My sister came here looking for him. Now I'm trying to find him. But I don't think we can do it without you." Derek explained.
"Why me?" Scot asked.
Little did they know that there were a pair of red eyes in the distance
