I put my phone down and decide to finish getting ready, argentina vs croatia. It's exciting but it's also nerve wracking.
My dad and Gavi went out a few minutes ago to pick up some food to eat before the game, I took the time to go online and start looking for gifts, Christmas is in a few weeks and I still need to get my family gifts and I need to find Pablo the perfect present.
After browsing amazon for a few minutes I easily found my brother and sisters gifts, I decided that when I got back to Spain I would buy my parents and Gavi's gift since I really couldn't find anything appealing.
As soon as I was closing my laptop my dad and pablo walked through the door.
• "What were you doing?" Pablo asks curiously
• "This assignment for school, I forgot I had an essay" I respond quickly to avoid suspicion
• "School?"
• "Yes, I'm doing online, remember?"
• "Yes I do but, never mind. Ready to go?"
• "Yup, let's go" I say getting up
We walk out of the hotel and go to a nearby park to eat our food since we still have time before the game. Luckily nobody recognizes us, which really is a relief because eating in peace is something I've needed.
• "What did y'all get me?" I ask going through the McDonalds bag
• "What you always get" my dad answers handing me apple juice
• "Thank you soososos much I'm starving"
• "I don't understand how your gonna fit 2 McChickens and a 10 piece chicken nuggets in you, you're tiny!" Gavi says surprised
• "She's always surprising me, last Christmas she ate 7 tamales" my dad tells him
• "Not just any tamales though" I tell them "Abuela cooked them so of course they were extra good. Oh dad I have a question, where are we going for Christmas?"
• "I was thinking either visiting friends and family in New Orleans or going to Argentina to see your grandparents since they moved back there recently." My dad tells me
• "Omg for real?? I want to go back to NOLA dad, pleasee" I beg
• "We'll see I still have to talk with your mom about it"
• "Yeah okay! Oh Pablo you should come with us if we go to Louisiana, right dad?" I say
• "I think that's a great idea, what do you think Gavira?"
• "I would love to, I mean I really haven't seen much of the US and seeing your 'hometown' would be great." He tells us
• "Yesss"
• "Okay kids, let's go we have a game waiting for us." My dad says getting up
After eating and throwing away our trash we walked to Lusail Stadium, we turned in our tickets and then we found our seats, for todays game im wearing the jersey Enzo gave me.
We got there right on time, the players started to come out of the tunnel and line up to begin singing the national anthems.
The game began.
Argentina was given a penalty and it was scored by Messi in the 34' minute. Five minutes later Julian Alvarez scored a goal making the scored 2-0.
After halftime Julian made a run for the ball and scored once again in the 69' minute.
Croatia eliminated from the World Cup, Argentina procceds to the final !
The game ending in a shocking 3 nil, revenge

As I pulled Gavi into a hug I couldn't be any happier, this means one more game, just one more. The hope of a nation, just one more game.

im busy (sports, school) we're nearing the end of my school year and I have tons of tests and I have to study, I have track after school everyday and meets on mondays so yeah I'm busy
