I woke up to the sun shining through my bedroom window, reached for my phone to see what time it was, it was 9:30 am I sat up in my bed, and groan in pain once a massive headache hit me, as I hold my head in pain, I hear a voice I Rember hearing before

Random voice: you should probably take this.

then i opened my eyes to see my dad holding a glass of water and sum pain killers, I don't know if to feel happy, sad or angry with him, after all this time u finally show up, like where the hell where you when mom first heard dan got shot, I just looked at him stupid and spoke.

Shayln: Nah I'm good.

Shay mom: shay, please take the medicine your father Tryna give you.

shay: no momma, I'm not taking shit from this man, after all these years he actually decided to show up?

shay mom: li-

Shay dad: nah it's alright tiff, at the end of the day she's not wrong.

Shay dad: but Shayln, I'm asking you nicely to take the medicine for your head please.

I looked at him, and he looks back at me then I finally decided to take the medicine. Then I had to use the bath so I made my way to the bathroom to do my business. after that when i head to the living room i asked my mom hows dan doing

Shay mom: I don't know Shay, the doctor said he having trouble breathing on his own right now

Shay: oh....

I said then and there I couldn't form anymore words, I just wanted to cry, what if dan don't make it, I don't know what I'll do with out him.

I thought all that while a tear falls down my check, then I felt a pair of arms hug me, I then realize it was my dad hugging me, I couldn't do anything but cry into his shirt.

Shay dad : let it all out baby girl

He said, then wipe my tears.

Shay dad : I know u and dan had a great connection, but all we can do is pray to God that he makes it

I looked him in his eyes, and nod my head before hugging him again, I began praying and praying

God please I beg u, help my brother I can't lose him this quick I wanna see us grow up together, get our own family's watch each other children, I begging you pleasee I need him, I can't lose him.
