my head was pounding the second i woke up. i stretched my arms as i opened my eyes. this wasn't my room. i quickly looked up at rhys who was just staring at me. i got many flashbacks from the night before
'oh god' i said out-loud
'good morning to you too' he laughed
i groaned as i pulled the blanket over my head. i noticed neither of us had bothered to put any clothes back on
'why am i here' i sighed
'you wanted to come back here' he said
'i remember' i moaned 'i remember everything'
'everything?'
'yes rhys' i replied 'i was drunk it was stupid. it was a mistake'
'mmm' he smirked 'was it'
he moved the blanket away from my face
'yes'
'you weren't complaining last night when i was f-'
'stop talking' i grabbed a pillow and threw it at his face
'there's no need to be embarrassed' he laughed
'ughhhhh' i moaned
i wasn't even surprised this happened. i had a feeling once i saw him again i'd fall right back into him. i did miss him, i missed him a lot. i didn't regret what i'd done
'how you feeling' he asked
'my head's pounding' i sighed as i laid on his chest
'i can get you tablets' he went to get up before i stopped him
'i wanna just stay like this for a bit' i drew circles on his bare chest with my nails
'do you wanna talk mel' he sounded nervous
'we will' i replied 'not right now'
'i never told jada i wasn't going home'
i grabbed my phone off his bed side table and scrolled through my notifications

'i know i should've been there for you. you needed me and i made things worse. i didn't want to hurt you, it killed me not being able to be there with you'
i looked into his eyes as he spoke, he seemed genuinely sad

the memories of that day rushed back to me, waking up to the blood, finding out in the hospital i'd lost the baby. my eyes started to fill with tears
'i needed you there for me rhys. it was so hard going through that alone. i'm sorry i kept it from you but i couldn't bring myself to tell you. i knew it would break your heart'
he pulled me into a hug and rubbed the back off my head
'i'm sorry' i could tell he meant it, i looked up at him and kissed him
'we're okay rhys' i said 'i cant stay mad at you. it was hard for us both'
'i love you' he gently kissed my forehead as i rested my head back on his chest
my phone started vibrating from the table, rhys passed my phone to me

'girl why did you leave so early last night' she said 'it was crazy once you left'
'basically me and kenza were in his kitchen then we saw-' she paused and looked at me confused
'where the fuck are you' she questioned 'that ain't your bed'
'that's why you left so early, you went home with a man' she smiled as her jaw opened 'finally moving on from that dickhead'
'who is it' she asked 'fredo? it can't be he was asking for you once you'd left'
'i don't remember his name, he's in the bathroom' i lied as rhys silently laughed raising his eyebrows
'how was the sex' she questioned 'is he hot, was it worth it'

i smiled and ended the call

he kissed my neck before flipping us so i was now on the bed and he was on top
