Kenn POV:
"Brix come on so you can take a nap" I said walking in his room where he made a mess playing with his toys. Brielle just laid down for a nap and if he goes to sleep then I can have a few minutes to myself to take a shower.
As Brix starting cleaning up his toys I heard my phone rang
"I'll be right back papa"
I walk back to my bedroom and saw I had a missed FaceTime from Brandon. I clicked on the notification automatically calling him back, after the 3rd ring he answered
"Yes husband?"
"Wassup baby what you doing?"
"I'm about to lay Brix down, Brielle went down on her own"
"Ok. You cooking tonight or you want me to grab something?"
"I'm kinda tired you can pick something up, whatever you want is cool."
"I'll be home in two hours so you can get a break for the rest of the day babe. I gotta make a few more runs then I'll grab some food and be on my way home"
"Ok, I'm about to check on Brix and make him lay down so I can take a shower"
"Yeah get it fresh for me so I can tear it up"
I laughed "boy please you being fucking me fresh after a workout"
"Cause you be looking good with that sweat on you ma"
I rolled my eyes playfully "I'll see you when you get home. I love you"
"I love you too ma, I'll be there soon"
"Ok" I said then hung up
I walked back to Brix room
"You done cleaning?"
"Yes mommy"
"Ok. Let's lay down" I pulled his blankets back so he could get underneath. Once he got in I put the blankets over him and kissed his forehead
"I love you"
"Love you mommy"
I closed his door walking back to my bedroom. I loved my babies but they be wearing me out every day and Brandon has started so many new businesses that he's always out all day and home late most days. A lot of days I miss doing nails and lashes, I've considered doing it again just so I could get out the house sometimes. Being a stay at home mom/wife is not what it's cracked up to be, I feel like I've even lost touch with my girls.
I sat my clothes on the bed and walked into the bathroom connected to my bedroom starting my shower.
I decided to text Karin to see if she wanted to go out for drinks tomorrow.
I connected my phone to my Alexa and played my r&b playlist , stress relief with Ann Marie and G Herbo came on
I took my clothes off and tied my hair up in a bun stepping inside the shower
15 minutes later I felt air coming inside the shower and knew it was my husband because I knew his scent
He wrapped his arms around my waist
"You back early babe"
"Yeah I missed y'all"
"I missed you too" I said turning around and kissing his lips
"I'm taking you out tonight"
"I thought we was staying in. Who's gonna keep-"
"My mom gone keep them, you forgot it's New Year's Eve baby"
"I really did. I just be so tired from the kids babe"
"hurry up so we can get dressed and drop these kids off" he said kissing my cheek then stepping out of the shower after washing hisself up so he could get dressed

Lexi POV:
5AM
I was in early labor, CJ and I were walking circles around on the labor and delivery floor trying to get me to dilate more.
I couldn't even feel the pain because I couldn't help be sad in this moment I stopped walking and just sat down in a chair in the hall bawling.
"Babe what's wrong? You in pain? Let me get a nurse." CJ said in a panic
"No" I said still sobbing
"What? What is it?" He asked rubbing my back
"I'm having my first child and I don't have no one else here who loves me. I don't have a mom or dad, our child will never know their grandparents."
"Bae, we have so much support. My parents on their way, Dave is flying in and all your friends. Karin parents said they'll be here tomorrow afternoon at the latest, so you don't have people that love you including me. I love you the most, you changed my life so much and for the better. I couldn't have picked a better woman for me and to be the mother of my child so, wipe your pretty eyes and get up so we can get my son here." He said wiping his thumb across my eyes
"I love you so much CJ"
"I love you too"
I got up and kept walking while holding his hand
3 Hours Later
Everyone was now here only CJ's mom, Kenn and Karin stayed in the room with me
I was 10 cm dilated now, I felt contractions in my lower back and had the urge to push
"I think I'm ready" I said loudly
"Ok, I'll go get the doctor" the nurse said leaving out
The other nurses in the room was telling me to wait and don't push yet
"Please hurry up or I will do this alone"
"Ok Ms.Abrams you ready?"
I shook my head yes
"Ok once you feel that contraction I want you to push, when you don't feel it anymore stop unless I tell you to keep going."
"Ok" I said faintly
"Make sure to take deep breath's in between pushing"
"Come on baby you got this" CJ said gripping my hand and holding my leg with his other hand
"Ok Alexis on the count of 3 I want you to push"
"1...2...3 push"
I grunted pushing as hard as I could, I got an epidural so I couldn't feel anything
After 35 more minutes of pushing, I finally heard his first cry. My son was finally here.
Codie Christian Jameson, I decided to name him halfway after his dad as well since he couldn't be a junior
In this moment I felt pure bliss, euphoric. I never felt this feeling before but I just know I want to love him. For once in life I felt like I had a purpose, I knew I had to protect him and be the best mom to him that I never had. I was holding Codie on my chest when I started to feel light headed, CJ saw my eyes fluttering and took Codie from me.
"Lex, you ok babe?"
I couldn't even respond before everything went black
"We need to move her stat! She's losing a lot of blood" The nurses yelled
