Yui woke in a cold sweat, her hand to her chest as she gasped for air. The nightmares were getting bad again, and they felt so real. He was back, Yui could feel it, and she didn't want to know what he was planning on doing.
Two days after meeting up with Shinsou, they left for Hosu, and the air smelt thick of blood and death. It was humid and miserable and she hated it in this new city. It was awful here.
She wanted to sleep with the windows open, but there was a fear of what was lurking in the alleyways of Hosu. It was dark, and the moon was blocked by clouds.
Yui fell back onto the hotel bed, covering her eyes with her hands as she sighed into the empty room. She could feel the tension in the day to come. His horrible grin haunted her in her dreams.
Chizome Akaguro, her least favorite teacher, vigilante Stendhal, now known as stain, was back, and he wanted blood.
She hoped it wasn't her blood he was after.

Yui groaned, wiping the sweat off of my forehead.
"Jesus christ, Shinsou. When did you get so good at fighting with a bow staff?" She spun her own staff in her hands. "Too bad I'm better!"
"You wish!" He grinned, returning to a defensive stance in their spar. "You may have years of training over me, but I, like any good protagonist, have plot armor!!"
Yui grinned at his humor, taking his little break of focus as an invite to attack just as Aizawa used to do for her.
"Rule #1! Say it with me~" She cheered, slamming the butt of her staff into his chest. "Never lose focus!"
Aizawa had left for the day to get briefed on what he was needed in Hosu for, leaving Yui in charge of today's training program. As Shinsou clearly expressed that the bow staff was his weapon of choice, it only made sense that she beat his ass with his own weapon.
He grunted, blocking another one of her relentless attacks. She was too good at this to be sparing with him, but at least he was learning how to lose with grace.
"Let's take five, ok?" She spoke clearly, as her staff pinned him to the ground once more. "You need water and to regroup your focus."
"Yeah, ok." He rolled onto his side as if he was going to go to sleep on the training mats. "Give me like five minutes."
She laughed, and layed down on the ground next to him.
"You could just ask me to go easier on you. I don't have to fight you so hard." She teased, poking his arm.
"I know, but I need to learn." He sighed. "No villain will go easy on me because I asked nicely."
Yui smiled at his drive. Every fiber of her body wanted to have his passion, his dedication.
"You're so fucking cool, it's unfair."
He laughed.
"Only for you."

Yui, Aizawa and Shinsou walked through the muggy streets of Hosu, patrol was a normal part of their internship, and Aizawa was glad that because they were students he didn't have to take them on night patrol.
A loud explosion boomed in the distance, and Yui could feel her heart drop at the revelation that something was starting.
"Let's go!" Aizawa yelled, starting to run in the direction of the fight before getting caught up with some minor league villains. Some minor league villains and a nomu-like creature.
"What is that thing?!" Shinsou yelled, pulling out his staff and getting prepared for the fight.
"Its-" Yui threw a knife into its eye in an attempt to blind it. "A nomu! We saw them at the USJ attack!"
Yui's phone buzzed, and she could hear in her earpiece a location being read out to her from Midoriya's phone.
She panicked, 'of course he would have gone after the hardest hero to fight!'
"Shouta!! I just got an address from Midoriya! I need to go!" She tried to be heard over the noise of the fight. "You and Shinsou stay here! I'll be back!"
He barely nodded his head in acknowledgement of her statements, too busy with the fight around him to properly think about what she said.
She nodded to herself, before running off from the fight.
"Yui!! Stay safe!" Shinsou yelled after her, causing her to smile a little.
"I will!"

"Don't touch him!!" Yui yelled, running into the alleyway. "Don't let him taste your blood!"
Midoriya looked towards her as he stood defensively in front of Lida.
"Yui! His quirk! Do you know him?!" He exclaimed in a panic. He could connect the dots himself, their quirks were far too similar to just be strangers. Maybe Yui would know how to fight him.
"Akaguro! He was my teacher!" She threw a knife at his face. "Just get in any attacks you can! Once he starts bleeding I can take it from there, but you can't let him taste your blood! He can control you, just like me!"
"Can you move?" She looked back at Lida, hoping that the worst hadn't already happened.
"I can't move my body.... Since I got slashed, his quirk-" Yui hissed in annoyance and confusion.
"Midoriya! You need to run and get help, if Lida can't fight we have no chance!" She yelled, holding her arm out protectively in front of him. "Stain! You can't fight me and you know it."
She glared up at him, his monstrous grin showing from under his head wraps. She hated that stupid smile.
"I can't leave you to fight alone!" Midoriya yelled back, getting into a defensive stance next to her.
"Yes you can! He can't-" Yui was cut off by his annoying voice.
"Aw this is a cute little reunion! Now be prepared to die!!" Stain's voice boomed through any emotions she was feeling, causing her hairs to stand on end.
"You know you have no chance against me, especially now that there is someone to fight alongside me!" She cried, throwing multiple knives towards his body, as he expertly dodged.
"Midoriya, Yui, this is my fight." Lida spit out, struggling against his body like Yui's own opponents did against her.
"A friend saying 'I've come to save you' is a nice sentiment. However, I have a duty to kill these unworthy heroes and take back my prodigy. If you butt in, then of course, it is the weak that shall be culled." He sneered, liking Yui's own knife clean after it skidded to a stop in front of him. "Now then, what will you do? Save yourself? Or have little Yui watch you slowly die?"
"Butting into one's business is the prime quality of a hero!" Midoriya yelled, charging towards Stain using his new expert control of his quirk as a boost.
Stain launched forward towards Midoriya, his large sword slicing the air as Midoriya moved faster than his eyes. His sword swung aimlessly to the naked eyes, but she could see the pattern, and Midoriya was bound to run into the sword.
"Midoriya stop!" He dropped from the sky, unable to move his body.
"Your power just doesn't cut it, you didn't surprise my movement or my masterful eyes. I was able to bring you down with a sure fire hit." He licked the sword blade clean once more. "Too bad your blood tastes so good. Folks who are all talk are a dime in a dozen, but with you, there is nothing keeping you alive!"
His blade inched closer to Lida's face, before Yui slapped it out of his arms.
"Stop this!" She cried. "This isn't what you want! You're a vigilante, not a league of villain's super power!"
The ground froze over, missing her feet and the bodies of her two friends as Todoroki stepped onto the ground.
"It's one after another today! You children just keep on blocking me." Stain grumbled, his feet stuck to the ground.
"Midoriya, for something like this you should really text more information. Now I'm late

I've been having a lot of writers block about this chapter, and how to introduce stain into the book. But i think i like this and it works really well. Anyways, I wont be able to update Thursday this week but sunday I will have a chapter up sunday! See you then, and let me know what you think in the comments!
