"I don't like that blonde kid." My dad mumbled my mom nodding along with him
It's almost been a week and they still haven't left my apartment making me go to Sam's place very night.
"Dad you haven't given the time to meet him." I sighed
"Why the fuck does he always have bruises and cuts on him?" My mom asked me
I sighed "He's a boxer."
I put my plate in the sink before checking my phone seeing Emil wanted some extra help today.
"I have to go to work." I said quickly grabbing my uniform
"Why?" My dad asked standing up from the table
"Dad my coworkers really need some extra help today." I said grabbing my purse quickly walking to the door
I was glad I was able to make it to my car and then soon the cafe quicky walking in but it wasn't crowded or busy. Emil came out from the back holding her arms out for me.
I started crying walking into her arms breaking down telling her everything about my parents.
"It's happening again." I cried
"What is hun?"
"The abuse." I whispered "I can't hide from them anymore. They've been questioning Sam."
"Oh sweetie but he's the only one who can actually protect you."
"But he lives right across from me." My gripped tighten on her shirt
The bell above the door started to ring making me quickly turn away from the door wiping my eyes.
"Lilac?"
I knew that voice.
I turned around seeing that tall blonde hair boy with his gym bag swung around his shoulder.
"Sam." I whispered walking up to him wrapping my arms around his waist
"Lilac I don't hug." He grumbled out
But he made no effort to push me away.
"It's happening Sam." I said knowing that I need to tell him
"What is?" He questioned as I felt one of his hands rest on my lower back
"The abuse." I whispered looking up at him
