"Take me home!" She tearfully screams
In the crevices of her mind, she knows she needs help
Apathetically she lays down; it seems
She hasn't cut nor aimed to kill herself
But she knows she needs Him
The Christ; God with us
Weighed down by sin
She cries out for Jesus
For the Hero we call upon and needed most
The Hero who has saved us by His death
The poison that He drank all down on the cross
The poison that saved us all from the cup of God's wrath
It doesn't belong to her now
She doesn't need to drink it anymore
She does not know how
She will surrender it, but is there something more?
She wants to live and wants to die
But most of all; desires to be whole
She wants one night where she doesn't cry
She needs healing for this soul!
"Take me Home; let me die;"
She's laid there for she don't know how long
She knows she can't that's why she cries
Selfish and fickle and weak; "I don't belong!"
Remember whose glory this is for
It is not for your own, lil'un!
Rejoice for God reaches to where
You are through the love and blood of His Son!
