Chapter 12
EUNCHAE POV:
I woke up today, back at home. I'm the new music bank mc and i'm really happy. I get to interact with many idols, it's always been a dream of mine.
YUNJIN POV:
Here I am, thinking about it again. Why won't Jay ask me out? Have I not been enough or? I'm really confused. He likes me but he won't do anything. What did I do to get such a shy crush?
So recently on social media there have been rumors of Yunjin dating Yeonjun of Txt. It's been going on since the release of her song I≠DOLL. Apparently she's hanging out with someone with blue hair. People thought it was Yeonjun because he recently had blue hair and he's under the same label.
YUNJIN POV:
Great, there are now rumors going around about me dating Yeonjun sunbaenim because of the blue haired person I drew. He's not the only one with blue hair. It was supposed to be Jay. Jay's hair was darker but it was still blue. No one knows about it though. But now Jay will stay away from me thinking that I'm already dating someone else. Are you kidding me?
JAY POV:
I was scrolling through social media just for fun. I suddenly came across Yunjin's new song. I obviously listened to it and it was so good. But then when reading the comments, people start saying that she's dating Yeonjun sunbaenim. I go to twitter and search their names. I see a bunch of tweets regarding this subject. I don't know if it's real or just a rumor but it's annoying me.
How did he get to her before me? Are you kidding? This is all my fault. I should've just had the courage and asked her out. Why didn't I do it that day. I should have because now I've lost her and I can't do anything about it.
I decided to hit the bar. I have nothing else to do but go to the bar. Maybe if I drink a little I can forget about everything that's happening.
HOURS LATER
Jungwon: Jay hyung. JAY HYUNG!! Jay hyung? Guys where is Jay hyung?
Jake: I don't know, he left earlier.
Jungwon: To go where?
Jake: I have no idea.
Heeseung: Jay is missing?
Sunghoon: Where would he go for this long?
Sunoo: Guys... you should check this out.
Jungwon: What
Sunoo: Yunjin's new song came out, but the thing is she drew a blue haired boy as a picture and now everyone thinks they're dating.
Jungwon: Oh no.
Jake: Oh my god, Jay is horrible when he's mad.
Sunghoon: Where could he have gone?
Heeseung: I don't know.
Jungwon: Wait, let's call Niki. Maybe he knows.
Jungwon calls Niki and starts explaining everything.
Niki: WHAT?
Jungwon: Have you seen him?
Niki: NO, I'm hanging out with Eunchae.
Jungwon: Oh god.
Niki: Wait, I know how to solve this. Have you tried calling him yet?
Jungwon: Yes, he won't answer anyone.
Niki: Then have Yunjin call him. If this is about her, he'll immediately answer.
Jungwon: Okay, can you tell Eunchae to tell Yunjin.
Niki: Sure
Jungwon: Thank you Niki, bye.
Niki: Bye
NIKI POV:
I told Eunchae about everything that's going on.
Eunchae: Oh my god, but Yunjin isn't saying Yeonjun. She would've told me. Plus she likes Jay.
Niki: I know, can you tell her to call him. He would totally answer if it was her.
Eunchae: Sure
Eunchae texts Yunjin and tells her everything.
YUNJIN POV:
Eunchae just told me everything and I can't believe we got to this. I didn't think it would have been like this. Oh my god I need to call Jay.
I immediately called him and waited for him to pick up. It kept ringing and all I could do was pray for him to pick up his phone.
JAY POV:
I was in the bar, I kept getting calls from the members. I ignored them because it wasn't important right now. I was thinking of something else. Not gonna lie, I felt pretty wasted. Did I drink that much? I suddenly hear my phone ringing again. I was gonna ignore it until I saw Yunjin's name pop up. I couldn't ignore her so I answered.
YUNJIN POV:
After ringing for so long, Jay finally picked up.
Jay: Hello?
Yunjin: Oh my god, Jay are you okay?
Jay: Yes, I am.
Yunjin: Oh thank god. Where are you?
Jay: At the bar.
Yunjin: Why?
Jay: Just because.
Yunjin: Are you drunk? You sound wasted.
Jay: Maybe a little.
Yunjin: Little? How much did you drink?
Jay: I don't know. Maybe three, four, seven...
Yunjin: WHAT? 7 CUPS?
Jay: I guess.
Yunjin: ARE YOU CRAZY? Oh my god Jay you have to get out of there.
Jay: No
Yunjin: I'm coming to get you.
Jay: No, don't.
Yunjin: Too late, I'm coming.
Jay: Fine, bye.
I left the house in a hurry only giving a small explanation to my members. If I don't get back soon, Eunchae will explain it to them. Right now, I just have to get to Jay.
I got in my car and drove to the bar. (pretend they can drive) I tried my best to get there as fast as I could. I hope nothing happens to him.
When I finally got there, I quickly parked and went in. Many people were there. I tried to find Jay in this crowd. Who knows where he is? I just hope I don't find him near a girl.
I finally saw him sitting near the drinks. He better now have had more. I rushed to him, grabbing his arm and sighing with relief.
Yunjin: Oh thank god. You're here.
Jay: Hi Yunjin... you look really nice.
Yunjin: Now's not the time to flirt, let's go.
Jay: Ugh, now?
Yunjin: Yes, NOW!
Jay: Fine.
Jay gets up as I grab his arm. I help him walk as we walk to my car. I get him inside and I start driving.
Yunjin: Why were you here anyways?
Jay: Why do you care? Shouldn't you be with your boyfriend Yeonjun?
Yunjin: Oh, so that's what this is about.
You came here just because you were mad?
Jay: Yes
Yunjin: Oh my god Jay, I'm sorry. I'm sorry you had to see all of that. I'm not dating Yeonjun and I don't like him. I like you.
There was silence between the two for the rest of the ride.
After a while, they finally made it to Enhypen's house. Yunjin helped Jay walk and went to knock on the door. Jungwon opened the door worried.
Jungwon: Oh my god, Jay hyung. Yunjin come in.
Yunjin: I'll take him to this room.
Jungwon: Sure, it's right there.
Yunjin: Thank you.
Jungwon pointed to Jay's room and Yunjin immediately took him there.
Jay laid down on his bed and looked at Yunjin: I'll go get you some water.
As soon as Yunjin was about to leave, Jay grabbed her wrist.
Jay: Stay
Yunjin: Are you serious? You're drunk, I have to get you water.
Jay: Please
Yunjin looked at Jay and sighed. She sat down next to him.
Yunjin: You know how long I've been waiting for you to ask me out?
She looked at Jay and he had his eyes closed. He had already fallen asleep.
Yunjin just stayed there beside him. After a while, she fell asleep as well. She was pretty bored after just sitting there.
TWO HOURS LATER
It was now around ten o'clock and Jay suddenly woke up. He looked next to him and saw Yunjin sleeping there. At first, he wondered why she was there. Then he suddenly remembered what happened. He stares at her a little, admiring her beauty. Then all of a sudden Yunjin wakes up.
Yunjin: Oh Jay? You're awake?
Jay: I like you.
Yunjin: What?
Jay: I really like you, would you go out with me sometime?
Yunjin: Jay you're drunk.
Jay: I'm completely sober now.
Yunjin: Are you serious right now?
Jay: Yes, so will you?
Yunjin: Yes, I will.
Yunjin hugged Jay immediately. After pulling away, she suddenly checked the time and saw that it was already ten o'clock.
Yunjin: Oh, I have to go. It's really late.
She's about to leave when Jay grabs her wrist. Yunjin turns around. As soon as she did, Jay gave her a peck on the lips. Yunjin smiled and waved. Then she left and went home. Jay just smiled.
AT HOME
Chaewon: Hey Yunjin, Eunchae told us what happened? Is Jay okay?
Yunjin: Yea, he's fine now. I just stayed with him for a bit.
Sakura: Why are you smiling?
Yunjin: He confessed to me and asked me out.
Sakura: What? Really?
Yunjin: Yea
Eunchae: Are you kidding me? I wanted to get a boyfriend first.
Yunjin: He's not my boyfriend yet, he only asked me out on a date. That's it.
Kazuha: He'll probably ask you to be his girlfriend on your date.
Yunjin: I hope so.
She then goes to her room and starts screaming in her pillow.
This was Chapter 12 guys. I wanted to focus on the second lead couple a little bit. But now that these two are somehow together, you'll be seeing a lot more of the maknaes. I hope you all enjoyed it.
